Review 1：Smell from the next door restaurant exhaust fans, bed was not very good and the dirty stairs going to the second floor rooms.

Review 2：the second floor rooms have a shared balcony.

Review 3：The bed sheets had stains on them, the wall had gross dried goo of some kind, they put a hold on your credit card for the full amount and charge it at the end, might as well be paying up front. Front desk often had no one there, had to use the telephone to call someone to the desk.

Review 5：Clean, sterile environment. Polite staff. Parking right there. Quiet. Itwas like the downtown ymca. We travel allot and this was close to a latenight commitment, it is overpriced for Ottawa. 79$ would have beenperfect . We will not go back.

Review 6：In all of my 55 years of travel locally and internationally I have never seen a place this bad. I took pictures of the wall paper pealing off the walls, holes in the gyprock where people put their fists through, ceiling falling into the tub/shower, mould on the tub, blood stains on the floor, and garbage outside the enterance and sent them to the Ottawa Better Business bureau, and Ontario Hotel Association. We were late checking in so we're not able to inspect the room prior to renting. When I complained I was told there were people in the room the prior night!!!!! I have the pictures and will make them available to Booking.com should anyone care to see them. I would highly recommend NOT staying at this dump. Very disapointing.

Review 8：We were given a room above the laundry room and it seemed like the only room that had not been renovated. There was a step going into the bathroom with no warning sign and I fell, hitting my shoulder and chest on the edge of the toilet. I was quite bruised and sore the next day. I would not stay there again.

Review 10：The operators are nice people. My room was a updated room and was pretty OK Some plumbing issues and rough workmanship but generally great value for money. I would recommend.

Review 11：Dirty dirty dirty! Our room had a hole in the wall and the lamp shades looked like they had blood on them. The bathtub was peeling and covered in lime scale. The floors were stained and looked like they had never been vacuumed. They didn't give us clean towels, just made us use the same ones for 3 days. If I could have afforded to go somewhere else I would have as soon as I opened the door. They also charged me a $100 fee to hold the reservation which was not mentioned when I booked the room, they said I would get it back but I am still waiting for it. Listing also said the room had a hot tub, upon arrival I find out I would have to pay more for it, even though the listing stated it had a hot tub when I booked it. Do not recommend!

Review 13：The room was musty and not very clean, bathroom door could not be closed. We had to get someone to fix the toilet, not very good when one of the party was ill. So far it is the worst motel we have stayed in canada.

Review 29：The sheet were thread worn, with a cigarette hole. The bottom sheet kept coming off because was not a fitted sheet. (non smoking room) Every time we flushed the toilet, sewer gas smell came throuh the sink and bath.This should be reported before some get sick. (no pee-trap in sink.

Review 30：The facility is in dire need of a face lift. First impressions of worn exterior paint and weathered threshold with mushrooms growing underneath are not good. Poor condition interior paint with wallpaper peeling off do not impress anyone when paying $100 per night.

Review 32：Rooms are misrepresented-there are no microwaves and only 1 bed whenadvertised you get 2 beds. Staff are rude and unprofessional. We wereexpected to fit 5 people in 1 bed! When we showed them the website says2 beds in queen room they refused to look at computer screen and justdenied it. We were unable to stay yet they still charged us! I highlyrecommend you do not stay in this hotel!!!! Other people we saw therewere also upset with their rooms and facilities. Neville is a terribleconcierge and not suited for customer service. The manager's wife iseven worse. She yelled at us and told us off because she had to leave aparty to come and sort out our problem. They offered me a free nightstay if I could prove they lied on the website and when I showed theproof and when bookings.com (who were on my side and agreed with me)sent them a fax with the proof, they still refused to honour theirpromise of a free night. They are horrible, unprofessional people. Iurge you not to stay at this hotel. They don't deserve to have anyguests. My little girls were in the car for 2 hours in snowy conditionsand they didn't give a damn. They never once apologized and neveradmited they misrepresented the room.

Review 35：I was disappointed with our room. I was mislead with your website. I looked at the photo of the King size room and thought we would have a jacuzzi tub. We did not. The handle on the toilet was broken. Did not find the room attractive at all. Poor lighting.

Review 36：The comforter and sheets had stains. No hot water on one of the nights. Facilities are non-smoking but everything smelled of smoke. Coffee maker was dirty, the phone was stuck to the receiver with some brown icky stuff.

Review 37：The inn was as clean as it could be for the kind of facility. According to the brochure-the coffee maker and color tv are a highlight :) the rest is self-explanatory

Review 38：No toilet paper or Kleenex in the room. We reserved a jacuzzi room and they told us few days later that we couldn't have it anymore, it was overbooked. They gave us another room for the same price but it was a normal room. No hot water an it was minus 30. He had to fight for a discount. Finally we had the discount.

The front desk closes after 11pm so if you havelost, misplaced, or your key doesn't work you are sol. I havetraveled a lot and I would never recommend this hotel, we paid $92 forone night for 2 queens, at best I think this hotel should be charginga maximum of $50.

Review 41：Hotel was in a poor state of repair (peeling paint around door frames etc.). The first room we were assigned stank of mold/mildew. No staff on-site after 11:00pm. I will NEVER stay at this facility again.

Review 46：The advertisement was very misleading we were led to believe it was a room with a jacuzzi tube when we got there it was just a regular room and the price should have been what we booked it for but that price was for the rooms that were very stinky. Ended costing more just to stay in a room that didn't smell. So for what we got the price was a little high and only for the fact we had booked online and would have lost our money we had no other option but to stay. We could have gotten a better room at another hotel for the same money.

Really to avoidthis motel.

Review 51：When we first arrived, we realized we had booked a room that was a bit"outdated"... Part of the hotel had been renovated and ourroom was in a non-renovated area. The clerk suggested we upgrade ourroom to a renovated area for an extra $20 per night, which we did, and Ihave to say it was worth it! The room was clean, comfortable, and theservice was excellent! The price wasn't too bad either.

Review 55：clean fridge, clean fashionable curtains and bedcovers, bed was comfortable, service was friendly and helpful The Inn was in the process of being renovated and we got a room that probably shouldn't have been rented out. It needs a thorough cleaning! Thank goodness we saw no bugs! It was an extremely busy weekend so I guess we were lucky to have found something, but next time I won't take a chance on a motel type accomoodation which means Ottawa might be too expensive.

Review 62：The Inn is located on Montreal Road. This road has two lanes in eachdirection and separated by a boulevard. When making a west boundapproach to the Inn entrance and parking, you must proceed past the Innand double back on the east bound side. Traffic can be heavy at times,as the Inn is not far from a major intersection.The description about included breakfast is not a show stopper. But, one should know that it only consists of a minimal offering at front desk. Where, one would pick up and take back to room via outdoors. There are a ton of food venues nearby including Tim Hortons for those who need their 'coffee fix'!

Review 63：I was competing in a 24 hour track race at the Louis-Riel Dome onBearbrook Drive. This Inn was the closest (within 5 min of the dome) andI considered the cost and cleanliness of room exactly what I was lookingfor in the Ottawa east end. This Inn still gives you quick access to thecity and all it has to offer. I know, as I had resided south of Ottawafor 19 years, while serving in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Review 64：The blinds didn't come all the way down,and the continental breakfast could have been more extensive.

Review 66：When reserving I chose the recommended room with king-size bed and requested a cot for our teenage daughter (whom I had listed as an adult), but was told when we arrived that a cot was not available, could not be put in the room that we had requested and wasn't large enough for our daughter. Luckily we could be moved to another room with 2 double rooms.

Review 67：Non professional staff. A/C was not working properly during the night time and there was no maintenance service available to fix up the problem. Request for one hour late check out was not acknowledged and were forced to leave the room on time otherwise pay extra money. Breakfast included only coffee donuts and muffins, no tea no bread butter and staff was quite rude to stick to their definition of continental breakfast.

Review 68：Room quality is very poor for the money paid. If you call breakfast included you should advise your customers of the quality you are serving. You can not call it continental or refer to it as a complete breakfast specialy with kids concerned. Your orange juice has ice which makes it tastless, the quality of the muffins served are poorly for they are not fresh (dry and stale) and the donuts, this is not breakfast.

Iwas getting ready for my appointment as I was about to dry my hair aftertaking a shower the hair dryer was not working had to go to receptionand ask for one with wet hair and now i'm recovering from a very badcold because I had gone out with wet hair Anyhow I just wanted to sharemy opinion.
