Review 1：I really cannot express how satisfied we were during our stay in Baltazar. We have been accomodated in a lovely penthouse maisonette with own fireplace and HUGE bathtub. A really nice lady has been taking care of us during whole stay and prepared a variety of breakfast meals for us. A private and secured parking of the object is really big plus as long as you cannot park for free in the city centre. I definitely recommend staying in this place!

Review 4：The location was great in the center of old town. The rooms seemed recently remodeled, they were new, tastefully designed and well appointed, comfortable and clean. Very friendly and helpful owner, it was like visiting a relative. Free parking and nice breakfast. We had a great stay.

Review 6：Spacious room with comfortable seats and couch, managers communicative and very welcoming. Everything worked as it should and clearly attention has been given to all the details to make your stay comfortable. Not only do they provide names of local restaurants, but actual menus with prices are provided to make selection easier. The breakfast is well worth the payment and the setting in town is perfect.The secure car park has a remote gate. Would recommend highly, we are budget travellers and found this accommodation more luxurious but still within our means.

The small details like a perfectly set up fireplace—just drop a match in and have it burn clean for a couple hours. Just felt much more like a 4 or 5 star hotel than I expected. Best value on our 14 day trip through Europe.
Review 12：The Manager was very outgoing and attentive to our every needs. Nice location and very convenient to the best restaurant in Mikulov. We had one of the smaller bedrooms but it was great just for the two of us. Would book again when we return!
Review 13：From arriving to leaving the owner and staff takes great care of both customers and property. Wellkept, clean, central quiet location, free safe parking, perfect wifi, good breakfast, nice garden with seating areas, A wine fridge were you can buy excellent wines and this is highly recommended. We stayed three nights and are glad we did, This is a great little place (6 rooms)in a great little town. The town is also perfect for making excurcions in the area, by foot, bicycle or car. Owner Michael knows the area very well and is very helpful with tips. We would definitely choose this place as a base for exploring southern Moravia.
Review 14：I paid extra for the large superior double room with the spa bath, and I am so glad that I did. The room was incredible. The staff were amazing, they really did everything they could to make my stay the best it could be. I would stay at one of their properties again in an instant! Breakfast was delicious (& had more than I ever needed).
Review 15：No soundproof rooms (we could hear our neighbour cough or sing as if he was in our room!). Very bad wifi connection. For a breakfast which is not included in the price, it is disappointing (bad coffee and orange juice). Generally I would say that the quality/price ratio is not good compared to other guest houses we did in Czech Republic.

Review 20：Location was really close to the beautiful historic square - a very warm welcome after a long day of travelling was very heartfelt. Everything is very well designed modern but classic in all rooms , a huge bedroom with all facilities and a hair dryer for us ladies which is rare in the Czech Republic ! Breakfast was fresh and very varied and we hired bikes which were kept overnight in a locked shed. The owner could not do enough to make our stay perfect.

Review 58：The stay at Penzion Baltazar Mikulov is perfect spent time from all kind of view. Mikulov is small nice town with a lot of treasures. We recommend to visit Husova street (old Jewish street), walk up to Kozi Vrsok, taste a local beer Mamut or visit Svaty vršek (Saint hill) and take a beautiful landscape view. One day is not enough. If you are young couple with request to enjoy yourself, ask for room No 5. :)

Review 60：A charming centrally located facility below the castle with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were tastefully decorated and an outside patio was quiet, peaceful, and available as a getaway all day with literature about the region provided by the management. The cost was very reasonable including a lovely breakfast. Very quiet in May.

He hired bikes for us and explained in detail the best route to take in the numerous castles and follies in the surrounding area. The locals in the bar opposite were also very friendly.
