Reviews for Beach Pension

Review 1：The lady (who only spoke German, luckily we had a speaker of German inour group) was annoyed and couldn't emphasize enough that we werelate and that this is no way any civilized person would arrive, thecheck-in is until 8 pm, not 10, etc etc etc. So, yes, some guilt onour part, but we didn't plan to arrive when we did, justeverything took longer than anticipated. Surely it's not the firsttime someone arrived late. Once she got that out of her system, sheshowed us the rooms, the house rules (quiet please and turn off thelights on the staircase once you are going to bed). The four of uswere charged 60 Eur, 15 per person, so 45 on booking.com was for 3persons, not four, well it was no time to argue. It's still lessmoney than in neighboring Bavaria. She also said that the place is runby her son who left her in charge which she was not happy about. Soplease, Junior, don't leave mum in charge too often, it'sreally not nice to her.

Review 2：Easy to find, once you get to Cheb. Large attic rooms, good enoughbathroom with lake view. Many facilities, bbq, swimming pool, billiardstable, lake shore nearby. Common, fully equipped, kitchen area andabundance of dining tables. Less pricey than similar places in Germany,and just across the border.

Review 4：We got lost while looking for Beach Pension. We called and the owner was really friendly and explained the way in Detail. The room was really big compared to any other Hotel I have been in before. The Hotel is right next to a lake which was beautiful. The terrace can be used and has good views onto the lake. We could park the car in the locked driveway. The owner was happy to help us find good Restaurants near the Hotel. I would recommend this Hotel and surely visit again on my next trip to Cheb. Thank you!
