Review 2：One of the most amazing places i have ever been to. I liked how the three islands with three resorts are interconnected, as if you visited three resorts in one trip. the staff made the trip extremely enjoyable. We (me and my wife) were in the ocean pool villa. As soon as we arrived, a phone was handed to us with the number of one of the staff members (Mahir) stored in it. He ensured our stay to be memorable and enjoyable. had made almost all activities and food plans from day one. no matter when you call, he answers and he made sure our request is fulfilled. The room is even better than the pictures in their website. amenities are great. Despite the almost full occupation of the hotel, you can always find your spot in the beach and never overcrowded. Food is superb. have enough varieties of restaurant selections. SIMPLY a memorable experience for life

Review 8：Hospitality was at its best. Access to other Anantara resorts, in the vicinity, gives you an opportunity to do a lot more. It was really an unforgettable stay. Prashrit Poudel (Manager), Grace (Front office), Uchi (Digiphoto), Aysha (Digiphoto), Ankit Sharma (Chef) and Jesicca (The Living Room at Anantara Naladhu) were just amazing.

Review 9：This was our first Anantara experience and certainly won't be that last. From the moment you walk out the arrivals gate in the airport until your check in when you leave, there's always an Anantara personnel ready to assist you. Every single detail is carefully taken care of; you can use a kayak (2 hours free per day), snorkel in the lagoon, stay in the breathless spots in the beach. I loved that Veli and Dhigu are connected, so you can use both facilities. Food is a little expensive, but totally worth it, everything is delicious and the best of the best (you can have dinner for two with US$100. Of course, it all depends on what you order! if you don't want to spend that much, I suggest you go to the pool bar, there are very nice options at cheaper prices, but you must go to the Thai restaurant, is delicious! we had dinner there two nights in a row and could've been more). Diving was a great experience, and Alba was very kind to us. All the activities and prices are available at Anantaras' website. I could write forever describing every amazing detail, but it'll never be enough. Super recommended!

Review 11：Every detail Anantara Veli Staff had from the beginning even from the booking and later on when we arrived, they made our time there unique, special and unforgettable.

Review 12：Most of the staff were polite , professional and extremely helpful. One recipitionist in particular needed some attitude adjustment because I nearly missed the speedboat to the airport because of him. I don't know if it was the island's setting or perhaps they were having a bad day ? service was slow to say the least and so laid back . I don't know what were they on it was beyond laid back.

Review 13：The setting , the in-ocean villa , Hussien the butler was exemplary. The food was above average considering it's the Maldives and most resorts I've been to have one thing in common the food is sometimes inedible.

Review 16：Large resort composed of five islands, only three occupied and the other two available for visit. Very helpful and kind staff, you always can be assisted in whatever if needed. Very good options for meals, but quite expensive. If you want a tailored dinner, massage or water excursion, is also possible. The hotel is calm, peaceful, with very nice rooms and a lively lagoon plenty of exotic fish and sometimes rays and little sharks.

I want to thank mohamad shahudee for the amazing and friendly behavior. He was the best guy in the hotel .he advised me to some activities and he arranged everything to me . The dining by design was a wonderful experience for couple. My room number was 190 its in very quite place .

Review 38：We don't even know where to start because the place is just awesome..we like everything about the hotel, the food, the staff, the facility, the view, the hospitality you name it, they have them all..it's like it's own city..it's heaven on earth. The fact that u can just snorkle below the water bungalow. Though only one type of corals, but you can find quite a number of fishes, which we found more than 20 different types of fishes..in the morning & evening you can even see baby black tip sharks, baby sting rays to name a few, and all these can be seen from our balcony/deck..the bathroom overseeing the skies, with modern stylistic desgin. All n all, if you are looking to spend some time relaxing and anjoying the view with a bit of excursions, anantara has got it all..At the end, we were sad that we had to leave.

Review 39：We arrived in Male at 0130 in the morning, and although booking.com apparently informed the resort of our arrival time, we were told we would not be taken to the property (approximate 30 minute speed boat ride away) until 0600. First, the resort representative at the airport said this was because they were unaware of our arrival time (although curiously he was there to great us at the gate). We were also told that we couldn't be taken to the resort because the reception area was small and there would be nowhere for us to wait for our room to open up. That is a blatant lie, because the reception area is large with many couches and chairs. Then there are the hammocks, lounges, etc all over the property. So, we spent 5 1/2 uncomfortable hours in the airport in the middle of the night. This is ridiculous and really started our time at the resort off on a very bad note. Also, the food at the resort is average at best and extremely overpriced. We met with the resort "photographer" and were rushed around by him for about 45 minutes while he directed us to take photos looking into the sun the whole time. Then, when we'd arranged to meet him to view the photos, he never bothered to show up. The people at the front desk kept insisting it was our fault, lying and saying he was there waiting for us, even though we were there for 30 minutes past our appointed meeting time. The final sour note is that the workers from reception couldn't understand that we were departing at 2300 Thursday night even though we'd paid through Friday, so they kept trying to get us to check out of our room Thursday morning. It was very annoying. I would not stay at an Anantara again.

Because it is closely linked to one more island and two other small ones, it felt like there is a lot to do (in 5 active days we still didn't finish all options). Review 49：Beautiful view around our over water bungalow. Even can see large string ray when you go toilet. Snorkeling around is so so but you can rent a kayak to a very beautiful area full of healthy coral and lot of colorful fish. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Restaurants and bar have wonderful food, breakfast is also nice. Very enjoy the night with clear milky way and sound of waves. Diving around here is full of fun, you will see Rays and sharks.

The rooms, the restaurant, the facilities, the staff, the activities; all of it was terrific. The design was excellent because we often felt secluded and uninterrupted by others. And walking down steps from our villa deck to the sea... Have been raving about it since. Will never forget our trip to Veli

Review 54：If I had to fault something it would be that the bathrooms in the bungalows did not have an A/C so it was always quite hot and humid in there. The room was also quite hot as well - the room temperature was always between 26-28 degrees celsius (even though we had the A/C on the coldest temperature possible!); but we did not mind it because we would keep the bathroom door closed and we would turn on the fan so it was generally quite cool.

Review 55：We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and everything about this hotel was amazing! We even wanted to extend our trip as many friends told us that we may get 'bored' but it was the total opposite - the hotel has so much to offer and was just spectacular! The staff were also some of the friendliest staff I have ever come across. They were always there lending a hand and trying to resolve any problems we may face. It was truly an experience of a lifetime.

Review 56：picking bones from an egg, the only thing we noticed that could ruin an experience would be a fall in the bathroom where the floors are marble and slippery and there is a 10cm gulley that should be filled with pebbles that was empty, we tripped on this a few times, luckily no injuries. there is also one overwater bungalow very close to the beach that fortunately we did not get assigned to as the water there is very shallow.

Review 57：The view is fantastic, the water is so nice and accessible. The breakfast has a huge selection. Every evening has a restaurant with live performances. The snorkelling and diving was amazing. Everytimey you see underwater, there is something new to be seen in the turquoise depths. The staff makes a huge difference, they make this place heavenly, they server you refreshments without you asking whilst you sunbath, they tidy up the island constantly to keep the pristine look. Whilst the staff leaves you alone and looks reserved, each one is very happy to talk to you and introduce you some aspect of the Maldives.

Review 61：I had high expectations from this long awaited holiday which were met like a prayer answered...ResortA very well landscaped resort with plenty of green to contrast the white sand and the crystal blue waters. Access to Dhigu via a platoon or kayak allowed one to adventure outside of the main resort. There was a good range of activities on offer as well – bicycling, table-tennis, darts, badminton and even a life-sized chess board, meditation, live band were some of the things we experienced and enjoyed...StaffFriendly, helpful and welcoming staff at the airport lounge, ferry to-and-fro the islands and Male, at the resort, at restaurants, spa and water sports center made the entire experience enchanting...AccommodationOur over-the-water villa at the Veli was luxurious with a breathtaking view to open our eyes to each morning (and I am not referring to my spouse here)... Short notes from the manager and housekeeping with towels folded in the shape of a turtle were precious. Attention to the layout, furnishing and amenities made the whole experience even more wonderful. Boarding over re-plantations of corals allowed us to go snorkelling at our own convenience right from our villa which was a definite advantageDiningJapanese, Thai, Continental allowed plenty of dining options. I would highly recommend their Thai restaurant - Baan Huraa for their exquisite food and hospitality. Breakfast was a treat with an amazing array of fresh juice cocktails. Even though alcohol and pork is served, Halal food is available at all restaurantsWater SportsThe Aquafanatics Water Sports Center offered a wide variety of water sports. We tried, ‘Fun-ride’; ‘Sea-Bob’, ‘Jet-ski’ and ‘kayaking’. Life vests and all sporting equipment were high quality and fun to indulge with. Pre-booking activities resulted in minimum waiting time.

Review 62：During checkout they didn't take USD from us due to small staples holes in them. This level was very unexpected it seemed they would only take brand new currency straight out of USA.

We stayed 3 nights 4 days wasn't enough.

Review 91：The wifi was sometime unreliable. Some restaurant are quite overpriced, based on italian standards (that are not so cheap). The wine is usually overpriced, based on italian standards. The extra services are quite expensive, but you are not obliged to get them. The lagoon is very large so you have to swim a lot to get to the reef for a charming snorkeling.

Review 92：Place really great, with a kind and effective staff. We had really great time even if with 3 on 7 days of rain. The De Luxe Beach Villa was a great choice. The bed was really comfortable, the villa really perfect for us. From the bathroom and the shower we usually looked at porcupinefishes, swimming just under the villa. What an experience! In room Nespresso coffee was a nice surprise. The deck was really comfortable and intimate. Very nice the possibility to easily connect to the other islands. Great variety of food available. Small but effective gym. Many attraction all over the resort. The breakfast is plenty of offers, from chinese to continental to italian to all fruits. Terrazza restaurant offers some good italian food. Even the pizza is not bad. Fuddan restaurant offers excellent grill food. The 73° restaurant offers high and low peaks of quality, at a very high price. The Japanese restaurant has an average to good quality. Baan Huraa (thai) restaurant was a really nice experience, with spicy but nice food. I discovered an USD 250 rebate on the extras, and appreciated it very much. The resort was nearly full, but we found very few people all around. Maybe they were in the villas to enjoy the time, but the Dighu beaches, the ocean views, the many many attractions of this wonderful place merit to be enjoyed every day in outdoor. And, maybe the point that we liked most, there were no italians, us apart :-) That's why, apart the defects that I had to mind on to find, this place was a remarkable experience in our life and we want to come there again. And, of course, we recommend the place to you.

Review 93：should provide shower or tough up facility for guest who have late flight at night after have been check out. we did plan to have diving or snorkering day trip on last day as our flight is at 11.30pm. but worry about there is no where can have shower afterward. so we just stay at bar for 6 hours which is a bit of waste and boring
