Review 1：the registration confirmation: i called because we had 2 rooms booked ..my daughter has a little dog but we only found out pets were not allowed when i called the day before travelling,,,the person that answered me that day was really an unfriendly person i asked to speak to the manager and she said she was it.....anyway that was very unpleansant so i kept 1 room and my daughter and husband had to go elsewhere,,,,,other then that all was alright the lady at check in was very pleasant

Review 2：Tried to check out after 2 days and found out that there was no refund (booked for 6 days). Reasons we left early, no place to hang coats, very nosey, shower poorly set up - no grab bars, no coffee maker, no ice machine, no elevator, stairs were dangerous. I have seen better jail cells than the room I was given. When I tried to get my money back, the desk clerk was not allowed to do and she tried to get in touch with the manager who was not available. I called Visa to sort this out and they wanted me to get a note from the manager. I left my phone number for him to call me back. No luck. It's been a week. I have never been is a hotel/motel were there was a no refund policy.

Review 3：The only thing we liked is that it was a new motel.

Review 4：The "hotel" plays a secondary role to a hugely popular restaurant which is attached to the former. Enormous crowds on night I stayed clogged the parking lot and check in counter looking for their takeout orders. It was a bizarre combination and not enjoyable.

Review 7：Staff very helpful we don't speak french and they immediately got someone who could speak english. Location off highway was perfect after a long day. Restaurant attached had both excellent food and service. For a traveller just needing a place to stay overnight it was clean and comfortable.

Review 8：I was overcharged, but the staff could not understand it even though I wrote down for her the simple calculation to show the difference between the amount of the invoice and the amount on the receipt of my credit card. My credit card was kept in the drawer of the reception and I was not advised even though my name is well indicated on the credit card. The bathroom light is on and off at its own discretion. There is no guide for WIFI password in the room.

Review 10：Building was old, not very secure, room was small, air conditioner was a very old and noisy in-window version. Staff spoke little to no English. Housekeeping walked in in the morning without knocking first. We were still in bed.

Review 14：The Bed and bedding looked very inviting and was very comfortable. There was a parking spot for each room. The staff did their best to understand English and my broken french. The room was small but clean. There is a restaurant attached and a gas station in the next lot.

Review 15：i had booked on-line and o thought i was booking a room with two beds. when we arrived it was actually one bed and a pull-out sofa. the staff were more then happy to change the room for us

Review 16：You had to Register is at the takeout counter of the St Hubert. While the room was clean,the air conditioner was so loud you couldn't sleep. Had supper in the restaurant. The food was either not cooked enough or overcooked. Waiter took my baked potato back to bring me one that was cooked and didn't return with it until the meal was finished. Service was poor.

Review 19：basic but very large room had had kitchen as well but was closed. Had lots of parking right at door of room. St. Huberts chicken restaurant attached open for breakfast. Bed very comfortable staff at check in very helpful. Wifi worked well

Realized in the morning it also had blood on it. Horrible. When I sent an e-mail to the manager he said the maid said she had changed the sheets and the room was fine. The worst stay I have ever had in any hotel, disgusting?

Review 26："We speak English", not very well at all. Internet connection very poor! Key to our room, I couldn't unlock the door and it took my husband a stugle every time. The raustsurant next door, owned by the same owner, had very, very slow service. Only one waitress on the floor and her English was very poor. Menue wasn't vey descriptive, to help us and the waitress couldn't help us with the selection. The two staff that we dealt with, weren't very friendly either. It seems a pity the staff wasn't more curtious, we don't mind difficulty in communicating with pleasant people.

Review 87：Definitely, it was a bad experience but in life everything happens for a reason. When we (husband and wife) arrived, the room that we book ahead was given to someone else. We clearly saw our name and another name above our name in the registry book. No excuse at all but only claimed that they might not receive the booking ahead. Ok. Now, they called a different Motel named Motel D'Amour to ask them if they have a free room. No respect, just throw you away that someone else took the room. Thank you Motel Cartier...we will never forget this awful experience. Besides having no place to sleep, the staff was not nice. We were planning to spend the day at Riviere du Loup, but after such experience we changed our mind. Not worth it.
