Reviews for Penzion u Vlčků

Review 1:Lift stops only on mezzanine floors - cumbersome with heavy luggage. Kitchen could be supplied with basic products, like tee, coffee, sugar, etc.

Review 2:Location in the city center, good breakfast.

Review 3:Everything was perfect. The room was beautifully decorated with all facilities, the breakfast was very varied and fresh, the staff was exceptional and we are very thankful.

Review 4:The staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms are very clean and tidy, and baby cot was provided. It was easy to find the place and there are halal restaurant nearby.

Review 5:No Internet. No air conditioning, even though there is an A/C unit in the room. I felt as if this hotel owner's top priority is cost-cutting. Everything about the room was cheap--toilet seat, lamps, pillows, everything. I suspect the A/C might have worked or could at least be repaired, but the owner doesn't want to bear the cost of the added electricity. Same with the router. Another router could easily be added, but I feel like the owner doesn't want to spend the money for it. The bottom line is that it's a clean room to sleep for a night. If that's all you need, then this is perfect for you.

Review 6:Close to city center and room was clean

Review 7:Too many doors that one has to unlock every time you want to get it. No reception, although someone seems to be around at any time.

Review 8:Decent accommodation in the city center. I got a triple room, all for myself. It was nicely decorated and comfortable. Good Wi-Fi connection. Breakfast was fine too, although overpriced by Czech standard

Review 9:No elevators, you have to carry your suitcases up the stairs.

Review 10:Room was large and clean, nicely decorated. Bathroom towels were washed in a very pleasant laundry detergent. I almost felt like I was taking shower at home.

Review 11:This is a hotel without a reception. When you arrive, you must phone a certain number and someone will show up to open the door. You do not see any other guests - just closed doors and empty corridors. I felt like in jail. My room was next to the aircondition outlet of a restaurant. The room was filled with the smell of fried pork until midnight. At 7 a.m. the room started to smell of fried eggs and bacon. The view of the inside courtyard was miserable. Not again.

Review 12:Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. This hotel is run very efficiently.

Review 13:when you reach the Pension you have to call a cell phone number to contact the owners. I didn't bring a cell phone along and thus first had to get change and find a pay phone.

Review 14:good location, very clean and new furniture, surprisingly good breakfast,

Review 15:A bit of a climb up the steps but we later found that there was a lift.

Review 16:Avery comfortable place close to the centre with good parking at the rear. The staff were very helpful and gave us good information about places to stay and eat. A very good breakfast again with good service from the staff

Review 46:Typical czech town. Helpful turistu kancelar. At least one goodrestaurant. But my view is limited to a one night stay only.

Review 47:The facade looks a bit grim, but once inside the room I was given was a lot more than I expected. I traveled on my bicycle, and received all the courtesy and collaboration one could wish for. Friendly staff, great room, and the breakfast, served in what appeared to be a subterranean restaurant, was superb. Value for money? You bet!

Review 48:We had to call our host to meet us upon arrival. We did not know this inadvance; we do not have capability to call on our phone a Czech number. We had a taxi cab driver nearby call for us. Also do not walk in thepark in the evening.

Review 49:My husband and I loved this place and will stay again as we haveoccasion. The facilities were safe, quiet and very clean, nicely styledroom. Breakfast was very good, abundant and very friendly hosts. Thelocation is perfect, near the main walkplatz/fussgangenzone.Abundant night life in Cheb. We asked the host about a good restaurantin walking distance, and he provided an excellent suggestion. We atethere three nights in a row! Fantastic food and price! (Incognito, veryclose by). We were able to park behind the building in gated parking.Overall, this place is a very good value for the price!

Review 50:Lots of stairs. Difficulty communicating without german or czech.

Review 51:Very good location for seeing historic Cheb (Eger). Family operated, very nice people. Clean, neat, modern.

Review 52:It will help if you speak a little German or Czech. Hot water will go cold if you try to use it when everyone else does.

Review 53:Great Location. Breakast is Good and inexpensive. Hotel very clean, beds comfortable. As stated in earlier reviews must call when you arrive to have him unlock the door and give you the keys. Parking is around back but is secure with a gate and an electronic remote you get. There are a couple spaces in front so you can unload bags before you go park. Good experience and was very happy to pay less then we were quoted when we checked out. (Including breakfast)

Review 54:The Wifi in my room was a bit too slow to run a remote server connection. OK to see websites.

Review 55:Very nice Pension and people, a comfortable and big room and bathroom, all very tidy. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally rich, and price is more than acceptable.
