Review 1：Nothing terrible, but a few recommendations. Kind of skimpy on the towels (four total, no washcloths), no tissues. A light is needed at the desk.

Review 2：Nice, spacious room. Clean and bright. Decent breakfast buffet was included, as well as two free cocktails. Excellent value. Room was quiet despite road construction.

Review 4：- about 20min walk from subway station. - very bad coffee at breakfast. - There is a hidden ~20% tax which you have to pay at check out. I booked the hotel for the price because it was under the threshold allowed by my employer. With the tax, I ended up paying money for my business trip, because the "real" cost was above threshold. In Germany you have to write real cost together with the taxfree cost. That's why I feel robbed. Becsuse I didn't have time to pay attention to the subtexts on the booking.

Review 10：The hotel is far from the historical and cultural highlights of Santiago and the website should state this. We spent more than 40 minutes waiting for a cab. We booked a driver to the airport on our departure via the hotel frontdesk. The driver pulled over around 2km from the airport and demanded payment because he was not authorised to stop at the airport in the passenger drop off area.

Review 11：The staff were friendly and the food marvellous; their restaurant was wonderful.

Review 12：The bathrooms are beautiful but some of the grout around the tub and floors is showing signs of wear which detracts from their beauty. Also, the Internet access is spotty and inconsistent. We managed with only slight inconvenience.

Review 13：We had the most wonderful stay visiting our exchange student son for two weeks. The staff was outstanding. From the night staff returning my lost wallet (left in the lobby) to last minute assistance with laundry for our 19 year old younger son traveling with us, to the manager coming out of the office to help me when I was lost, I cannot say enough great things about the staff. Their English was also wonderful and much appreciated by me as the only family member not speaking Spanish. We asked for two rooms on a higher floor and had two legs on our stay. The first leg was very high (22 perhaps?) and the second leg was floor 15. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable and linens plush. The mall across the highway was a pleasant 10 minute walk to access the crosswalk that brought us to the mall's center with great restaurants and shopping.

Review 16：I arranged for an airport Pick up, but wasn't picked up. To be fair, it happens. Because I've stayed here before and they picked me up no problem.

Review 17：It's in a great location, near a big mall and it's not far from the important places around santiago. The mall is 5-6 mins by walking (Parque Arauco). I come here for business, so once I'm back - the friendly staff are great, clean and big rooms and walking to the mall for dinner or shopping is all perfect.

We were able to book winery tours and a transfer to the port in Valparaiso with the hotel making it very convenient for us to enjoy our two days in Santiago.

Review 92：It's not so much what WE didn't like, but this hotel may be a little far from the centre for some people, particularly if they are unable to manage the 15/20 minute walk to the Metro. (I understand though that taxis are quite cheap). We found the location perfect and enjoyed being in a quieter environment than the city centre may have provided.

The standard price per night is $75 usd if you understand that this is a fair price in Santiago for a 3/4 star hotel then you won´t be disappointed staying here. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel in Santiago with 5 star facilities then you will need pay twice as much and stay in another hotel.

Review 105：We were looking to stay as close to the Mall, (Parque Arauco) as we could on our budget, so the hotels location was perfect,it was only a 5 minute walk to the mall. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable I would recommend this hotel.

Review 111：The fact that my company card was initially not accepted when I booked in and had to use my personal card. Two payments were put through and later I tried the company card again. The latter was accepted then. The amounts reserved on my personal card were reversed almost two weeks ago but the amounts still show reserved. It puts me under financial pressure.

Review 118：Beware, this hotel is a rip off. Booking prices are very competitive butat the same time you will be microcharged for all the amenities thatshould be part of a 5 star experience. Sauna, not included and 8500clpfor a 30 min session. Hence no one ever uses it and it's cooled downall the time. So if booked allow for another 4 hours to heat it upfirst. Hotel policies state that you cannot use the pool without abathing cap which is neither nesecary nor useful but enforced by hotelstaff, collecting 3500clp on the spot for yet another gimmick. Also,avoid ordering food at the bar in the afternoon, you might get a fridgetemperature prefried hamburger for an exorbitant price. That said,Kennedy is not per se a bad hotel, but never ever deserves to bear 5stars. Due to pushy service with micro charging and so called hotelpolicies you don't feel like a valued guest but like an asset.

Review 127：Decided to stay here as a special farewell treat after two months oflargely backpacking. While rated as a five star hotel, I had in fact,received much better service, at a fraction of the cost, from almost allof two and three star hotels I had stayed in, while travelling. Theouter appearance is glitzy, but the quality of service is poor toaverage. There was no airport shuttle service, other than a hotel fixed,much overpriced taxi, or even a shuttle service into the city. Theconcierge appeared unwilling to be of any assistance (perhaps because Iwas not in formal attire), and when pressed for information, was givenincorrect details anyway. Located well away from the city centre, youhave to either catch a taxi, or utilize the turistica bus, both of whichcan be very expensive options (if arranged by the hotel). If a taxi isdesired, you are better to walk up the road to a nearby mall, and hailone from there. Because of its location, one might also feel “forced” toeat at the hotel restaurant. However, the mall up the road does offer aconsiderably greater variety of food, at more reasonable prices.
