Youth Hostel Pontresina is located 100 feet from the Pontresina Railway Station and 2,300 feet from the local cable car station. The property has a football field, beach-volleyball court and a children's playground.
All rooms at Pontresina Youth Hostel have wooden floors, mountain views, shared bathroom facilities and a small cupboard. Several have wood-panelled walls and ceilings, a desk and a washbasin, and WiFi is available free of charge.
The hostel has a TV corner, library, reading room and children's play area. A bike and ski storage room with boot drying facilities, and a ski waxing area are also available on site. Ski passes can be bought at the hostel.

Review 1：No bath mats in either the bathroom or the bed room. I suspect that during a high occupancy day the bathroom floor would be very dirty, and no slippers provided.

Review 3：that desk was closed when i arrived at 3.30pm. i wanted to catch a train at 4.08 so had to carry my pack, when it would have been easier to leave it at hostel and travel a little lighter.

Review 5：It's been a hot summer in Europe so the rooms were pretty stifling at night. Perhaps at least a fan in the rooms would be helpful.

Review 21：The staff really went out of their way to look after our cricket team. The rooms were spotless and so were the bathrooms and showers. The breakfast was fantastic!
Review 22：This is an extremely friendly and well run hostel. The staff are great....it's clean as a whistle, they have good food, it's right next door to the train station and it is extremely reasonable. Sabine, at the front desk recognized me from last time I stayed here. Occupancy was low, so she upgraded me to my own private room!
Review 23：Storage space in the 6 bed dorm I stayed in was limited. Which becomes an issue if your stay is a long one.
Review 24：The location is close to the station, bus stop and cross country ski trail making travel very simple. The staff are friendly and helpful but not intrusive, most spoke good English. Food was plentiful and varied not Michelin star but then it is a youth hostel. Cleaning was frequent and thorough.
