Review 1：OK, no lift. Be warned. But 2nd floor is the highest you will have to climb.

Review 2：Great value for money if you are looking for accommodation along the A5. Super quiet, sober but cosy and comfortable room, kind service, decent breakfast. Reception open till 9 pm. The town itself and and the region certainly deserves a visit, but that's another story.

Review 3：The room was not very clean, the furniture was old and damaged. I felt very uncomfortable in this hotel, in my room I found everyday strange insects. I don't recommend it at all!

Review 6：Great central location. Free wifi working fine for normal usage. Rooms very quiet and cosy. I was there for a sports event and needed a nice and cheap accomodation for one night, everything was just perfect.

Review 10：We were travelling across Germany and chose the hotel for it's closeness to the E40, but also the fact that it was situated in a lovely little town. We stayed again on the return leg because the hotel, was friendly, comfortable, clean, quiet and only a short walk from the town centre.

Review 17：The available rooms did not match the booked and we had to pay for two rooms instead of one, but at a discount. they were still more expensive. The rooms quality are below standard - sort of reminiscence of 70´s brown bathroom style. you will feel the spring in the beds.

Review 18：Not really a problem for us, but something other travellers should consider if they are going in warmer seasons. The hotel rooms don't have their own refrigerator. We were fine, since our door opened up to the outside, and it was winter. We just put the baby's bottles on our doorstep to keep them cold overnight. However, if we visit again in a warmer season, we'll have to find other arrangements for keeping bottles cold.

Review 19：This hotel was very cute from the outside, and each room was extremely modern and clean. Free parking, and wifi that actually worked! Great hot showers at the end of a cold day out (our stay was in winter). Helpful hotel staff that treated us very well. Not a lot of hotels in Europe are as accommodating to families with multiple children. We arrived late in the day, and much of the town was closed. We needed milk for the baby, and they provided it for us. So kind. The restaurant had excellent food and was affordable. The complimentary breakfast was really good. The location was excellent - a very pretty walk down fairytale streets to get to the Rathaus and surrounding areas.

Review 22：Quiet hotel not far from the cosy center of Alsfeld. We lived in the new rooms, located in the garden (room #31-33). New rooms, very spacious, patio with benches and chairs in a beautiful garden. Positively surprised! Breakfast is so so.

Review 23：A very nice hotel, with nice family suites in a pavilion adjoining the main building and surrounded by a lovely garden. Spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished, both bedrooms and the bathroom. An atmospheric historical restaurant, old local style, in the main building, where nice, varied breakfast is served. Altogether, certainly value for money and definitely worth recommending!

However all worked out in the end, and very grateful too - we needed a bed for the night, and it was a perfect sleep.

After seeing the lovely pictures of the hotel, it defeated theobject of us staying there if we weren't even in the hotel itself. Wefelt like we were being excluded from the main hotel. The room wasspacious but very dated (the phone had a dial on it rather than touch-tone!) and the tv was very small with a remote control that didn't work(probably dead batteries).It just wasn't a particularly pleasant stay, the IBIS I had stayed in previously was cheaper and much nicer.... just a big disappointment. Probably the rooms in the main hotel were better, but given that it was cold and wet and we had to walk outside to get to the main hotel I will be looking for alternative accommodation next time.

Review 60：The hotel is in a perfect location: near enough to the moterway to be anexcellent place to spend the night when you are on the move to someother place, yet far enough from the motorway to really have a quitenight near the centre of a lovely village. The hotel is clean and cosy,perhaps because of it somewhat dated character. The breakfast is fineand the staff are very friendly and helpful and speak English.

It's advantage is location: in small, nice andcalm town and nearby motorway at the same time.
