Review 1：Had a hard time cooling the room down. It was a little confusing getting to the hotel from town.

Review 2：Service and food in the restaurant was very very good. Good coffee in the room. Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant.

Review 3：For being out of town it was very hard to get to the hotel from downtown area . We had to drive past into a industrial area to get turned around and get access to entrance.

Review 25：All of the staff was really friendly and very helpful. The laundry facility is very economical, convenient, and comfortable. Having the Carmel Restaurant right next door was handy. Being given the choice of the Continental Breakfast, or using a Discount off of a Full Breakfast was really nice, too! We'll stay again on our return trips!

The reason for our trip was to meet up with my wife's brother and his wife. We spent a lot of time sitting and chatting. It was good.

Review 30：I was happy to have a nice room where I could have my dog with me. It was easy to find off the highway as I continued my journey next day. The restaurant was nearby with good food and service. I liked being able to use the computer to contact my friends.

On the way there the stay was great staff was friendly room was clean, I would have preferred queen size beds to doubles but that was fine. On the way back unfortunately the room reaked of smoke as soon as we walked in to our nonsmoking room. It looked like a full house and our baby just wanted to sleep, it was only one short night so we just kept the room. But I did mention it in when I checked out...

Review 34：The staff was friendly, and the air conditioner was quiet. The price was great.

Review 35：Although renovations were done ...they was done cheaply in kitchen units. The cupboards were slapped together with rough materials and carpentry. The beds lacked comfort....too firm but for one night stays t would not consider this a factor.

Review 36：I love the location of the Carmel Inn, very convenient to restaurants and gas stations. The discounts for meals was a great bonus. Very personable staff to answer any questions. It is quite obvious the owners are trying to meet the needs of travellers with the addition of laundry facilities and allowing pets. I would definitely staff there again.

Review 52：The walls are so thin, we were awaken rudely by next door neighbours screaming & swearing. He was verbally abusing his girlfriend/wife. We heard it from 630am - 10am until we left. There was no phone by our bed & I didn't want to get up to phone the front desk. So much for sleeping in, it was our only day to sleep in. The bathroom light was too bright! There should be a separate light for the bathroom, not include that bright light directly beside our bed, over the sink...whoa, we went blind each time we used the bathroom. That was weird!

This hotel is awesome, clean, comfortable and the staff are great. The chambermaids do an awesome job and the front desk service was very friendly and accomodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.

Review 62：Our car was backed into by another vehicle which drove off. The manager went above and beyond to help us find the person who did it so that we would not have to pay for the damage.

The beds were old uncomfortable, pamphlets were drawn on from previous people giving impression wasn't cleaned and hooking up to wifi was inconvenient each person in room requires own code which you had to call front desk for.

Review 80：Our bed was pretty uncomfortable. Our room was on the first floor and we could hear the people walking above us as clear as day and there were people walking around almost all night. We could also hear the vehicles that were bein warmed up for early departure and the couple/family in the room next to ours even when they were obviously trying to talk quietly (our room had a door so that they could be adjoining if wanted but we didn't know these people) it was also difficult to get to the motel due to maridians on the highway.

Review 81：The room was very nicely updated and clean when we arrived. They allowed an early check in to get to our event on time and the gel working the front desk both mornings was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also delicious and the staff there were also very friendly.

Review 82：Two rooms rented, one room very bad cleanliness. Management offered right away other room. TV had problems, some times (no signal).

Review 83：Management really good and helpful. Hotel is across from the Carmel Restaurant - so you can walk to breakfast, lunch and dinner. WiFi was really good (Management asked us how many devises and handed out a code for every devise).

Review 87：The only "negative" we found, is that southbound Highway 97 traffic cannot make a left turn into the property, but must drive on bye, and the "u-turn route" is a full 2 kilometres. Northbound access is perfect.

Review 94：A bit difficult to access if you do not have GPS. You can not drive in if you are headed southbound on hwy 97, a round about route is required. Easy to head south on your way out, though, as you can turn around in the casino parking lot a block to the north.

Review 112：I was traveling through town and needed a budget priced room. I wasn't expecting anything more than that. I booked a day in advance not knowing Prince George or where anything was. I was first pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find and access from the highway. My expectations of a budget room were far surpassed from how pleasant and helpful the front desk staff was to the cleanliness and how updated the room was...and the restaurant was good too..I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Value for money...most definately.

Review 113：Room was not cleaned right last time, first time in 5 stays, didnt do any thing to make it up , for the not clean room. The ice machine and other machines in office make it hard to hear the desk clerk.

Review 118：The room was small but clean and had all the amenities of larger hotels (fridge, microwave, coffee maker and wifi). It was perfect for our one night stay before our flight in the morning. When I was out in the parking lot at 4am a staff member came to check that I was actually a guest at the hotel. As a single mother travelling with two kids I really appreciate this kind of security. Over all I would highly recommend the Carmel for short stays.
