Reviews for Quality Suites Laval
Review 1:Elevator and Hallways need renovation, The Leather Sofas in reception area are slippery and not comfortable at all.
Review 2:the price is reasonable, location is great.
Review 3:Staff is not clear with helping my bilingual family to leave telephone messages for the current hotel room messaging system! And if they were English speaking, the French evening staff were not as able to talk back in English - mainly French ... (While We were visiting people in the hospital). {Some people were told "no answer in room" when clearly we were there! } •Rooms are showing wear and tear and drab! Perhaps the business should slowly start replacing furniture ! A little bit more modern ! ... Just noticing and saying!
Review 4:Everything is good Beds were comfortable Very Pleasant staff however the hotel rooms Could use a new and better phone-system for messages than the current system they have; this would assist the French staff to English speaking travelers messages...
Review 5:The sofa bed wasn't up to standard...considering it is a family suite, the double bed seems much smaller then regular one. The décor is outdated. My younger didn't want to stay in the room and cried for 1hour. Breakfast wasn't fresh...for the same price, I will stay at Hampton Inn Laval.
Review 6:The location is good.
Review 7:The breakfast was not acceptable. There were no Eggs just the simple cold items of bagels, cereal etc. They did have waffles which was nice, although we did not want waffles. Getting to the hotel was a little tedious, the road was only one way and we did get lost many times during our stay from Toronto.
Review 8:The family suite was great, 5 of us were very comfortable for the 3 nights we were there. The price paid was decent
Review 9:Room being close to highway and hearing noise all night was unexpected.
Review 10:While travelling with kids who wanted to use laptop and cell phones, free Wi-Fi with good speed was awesome. Staff was accommodating and that is why I stayed one more night.
Review 11:Someone ought to work on your survey page. The reaction time between the click and the registration took so long that initially I had the impression that the site was faulty. Not many would persevere. Re hotel: Very challenging to find. GPS has no idea where this is. I finally figures out that the best way to find it, is to find a business close by and key that address in. Seems that the road on which it is located has several names. Tip: just click in the street, 'Tessier' on your GPS and you'll be very close
Review 12:Helpful and courteous staff. Clean, well appointed room. Breakfast adequate.
Review 13:Difficult access to the hotel from the highways The restaurant was linked to a bar and the waiters were continually busy, although quite nice The Internet was slow and Skype was iffy
Review 14:Location away from Montreal crowds but near major highways A nice Italian restaurant next door A comfy room with a good desk to work, a king bed, a sofabed and a fully enclosed bedroom Free parking Free Wi-Fi Nice staff Good selection of TV channels
Review 15:Ad dress was not easily found-called the hotel several times for directions. When we called the hotel the representative advised that there were 2 streets with that address. Advertisement shows all suites. We thought we were getting a smaller suite. we checked out after the first night and checked in to a much nicer hotel for $20.00 more per night.
Review 16:Representative at front desk was nice but could do anything for us.
Review 17:Beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable for me. air conditioner wasn't working and couldnt be moved to another room. there were ants crawling around in our room
Review 18:Dirty doors & walls in room Broken lock on bathroom door No signs to guide the way from the highway No work space for computer
Review 19:Front desk clerk was helpful
Review 20:crowded living space, lampshade and furniture stained, no hair dryer in room. stingy with towels. breakfast very poor quality with little besides cheap baked goods and sugar coated cereal, inadequate seating space (we had to carry toast and coffee on paper plates back to room). at $165, hugely overpriced for location and amenities. booked suite with 1 king and one double, as back conditions make sleeping on sofa bed painful. got the sofa bed. we were told our room had been given away. bad practice! we will stay elsewhere on our next trip to laval.
Review 21:reception clerk polite, but not accommodating or apologetic for our room being less than advertised and reserved. did nothing ro compensate, even when asked.
Review 22:Uncomfortable bed and noisyn room on the 2nd floor for the first night despite we had asked for a quiet room. We had to switched to a room on the 3rd floor after might, then we had to switch again to a room on the 1st floor with a small fee. We wished we had aroom on the 1st floor for the entire duration.
