Reviews for Haus Stahlberg

Review 1:Far from the center. If you do not like to walk you have to drive a car and to refrain from drinking good Rhenish wine.

Review 2:Friendly service, quiet location, good breakfast.

Review 3:Very old building meant steep narrow stairs, cramped attic room with beams and posts, very small bathroom and of course a musty smell. Lacked adequate parking.

Review 4:The housekeeper cook is cheerful, friendly and puts up a very nice breakfast in a quaint breakfast room.

Review 5:A bit small and musty. No access to the beautiful garden after breakfast is over.

Review 6:Quiet neighborhood and plenty of parking. Breakfast was included which is a nice break.

Review 7:It is a little far from Bacharach and the TV was very old and small. It is a very old world accommodation with low ceilings and doors but interesting for foreigners.

Review 8:The owner was very genuine and obliging. Breakfast was delicious. We were two older couples and the deck was a real bonus to enjoy for an evening drink.

Review 9:Long narrow stairway up to top floor. hard to go up and down with cases. Not good for elderly people with knee or leg problems.

Review 19:These were our first two nights of a vacation throughout Germany - what a beautiful way to start out! The house and garden are beautiful, our rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable, and our hostess (Marijke's sister) was very helpful and interested. Breakfast was also very good! We enjoyed the town and the area very much.

Review 20:Very nice hotel, traditional but with character. The room as if it came out of a fairy tale. Delicious breakfast (especially the home made marmelades), very clean and the owner' s sister very polite and willing to help. The hotel it' s a little bit far away from the city centre of Bacharach but we had a car, so that was not really a problem..

Review 21:Although our room was very warm, our daughters' room was rather cold.

Review 22:Marijke was a very friendly and helpful host. The rooms were very cosy and spacious. Delicious breakfast with a lovely variety of cereals, yoghurts, breads, rolls, meats and cheeses to choose from.
