The indoor pool in one of the best in the world with a breathtaking view of the Alps. Be there to experience the ultimate level of hospitality. Remember to carry a blazer for dinning !

Review 2:Hv to pay an extra for the parking, should be included in the price.

Review 3:Everything was great (spa, staff very friendly, dinner, breakfast, quiet room). Swimming (free) lessons were great!

Review 4:There was absolutely nothing to dislike

Review 5:An amazing hotel, with history, location, great facilities and very friendly staff. A hotel with charm where you could relax in its outstanding " Wellness Centre ". The friendliness started with its Chief Executive who we met everyday. We very much enjoyed " Dining in the Kitchen " which allowed us to meet the Chef and his staff, an experience to remember. Easily the best breakfast we have enjoyed.

Review 6:I wish I could live closer. It is a long way from home.

Review 7:Location, driver to the ski areas, piano in the lobby/dinner/bar, and the insane pool/spa area.

Review 8:We only spent there a day.

Review 9:The room, the facilities, the people, especially the restaurant with wonderful breakfast. Also the location with a beautiful view of the lake.

Review 10:Car parking charge perhaps should be included in overall price or no charge levied.

Review 11:The spa was a real treat. Breakfast was superb. Dinning room and food excellent. Our bouquet of flowers were a very special touch to mark our special day.

Review 12:The unfeeling, unrhythmical, restless pianist, who found a way to make G. Gershwin and A L Webber sound identically bad.

Review 13:...in a location from paradise. World's greatest breakfast. Superb 19th-century decor and ceiling paintings. Ranks of personnel filled with angels.

Review 14:Absolutely nothing.

Review 15:This hotel is perfection in every way. From the pick up at the station to helping me onto the train with my heavy suitcase on departure, the staff could not have been more professional and friendly. The hotel has a prime location with a superb view of the mountains. The room and the hotel lobby, dining room and spa are truly 5 star. I had half board and would recommend taking this option as the food was delicious and meant I didn't have to leave the wonderful environment of the hotel. This is undoubtedly the best hotel I have ever stayed in and can't wait to return in the near future.

Review 33:Manager of hotel made a visit every night and an effort to talk with all gusets. Food was excelent! Very family friendly overall excelent destination to ski the Engadin keeping away from the unreal world of St.Mortiz! Great place can recomend to anybody for a great skiing holiday!

Review 34:Small children in the spa pool and Olympic-style swimmers altered the late-afternoon, tranquil vibe...but I suppose both are unavoidable.

Review 35:I love this hotel: from the moment you walk in to the moment you reluctantly leave, it's the best therapy any tired soul could wish for. The opulent and elegant decor, excellent food, wonderful spa and superbly comfortable rooms are matched by the professionalism of the staff and splendid views.

Review 36:Price policy, there is no advantage to buy in advance, you find betterprice at last times. And even you bought the halfboard, if there is agala dinner, you must pay extra (100 chf) to join it or they can offeralacarte restaurant with 35 chf credit but only ceasar salad withprawn 36chf.

Review 37:Excellent staff and service.

Review 38:Beautiful hotel looking out upon the mountains and forests. Tastefully furnished with very attentive staff. Very nice spa area and facilities. Highly recommended.

Review 39:Wine list should breathe more, lets have more expensive wines but more balanced in price.

Review 40:I have made curious about the hotel as I read about beginning of century's parties where pioneers of ski and Bernina exploration (like Marcel Kurz and Rudolf Staub) described their adventures dressed in tuxedos Today you have the same feeling. It is luxury yes, but more precisely it is timeless glamour, history with modern savoir-vivre. An experience. My congratulation to Mr Eichenberger and outstanding staff

Review 41:Everything. Gorgeous hotel, wonder staff, amazing breakfast. 5 stars all the way. Despite the level of luxury, it was still family friendly too. Wonderfully awesome stay.

Review 42:The hotel's very friendly staff that made my 40th birthday a memorable experience. the SPA facilities are excellent as well. Very good child care services and facilities. Very family friendly.

Review 43:The service was amazing. Werner on the concierge desk was simply amazing. He really helped plan each day for my wife and I. Really great service. Food was fantastic. Spa facilities were amazing. Location was great.

Review 44:The Grand Hotel Kronenhof is a true gem of the Engadin valley. The hotelis situated in a peaceful and charming town of Pontresina overlooking amajestic view of the Swiss alps. Upon check-in we were greeted warmlywhich made us feel very welcomed. The room was very nicely decoratedwith magnificent view and the balcony overlooking the mountain. Thebathroom was very nice with heated floor and it's perfectly clean. The hotel public area is very luxury, elegant and gorgeous. Thebreakfast was really grand and sumptuous. The service was professional, warm, attentive, and courteous. Overall our stay at The Grand HotelKronenhof was truly splendid.Except there were some glitches we felt we could have plan better which are that we didn't think that the hotel will be this great, therefore we arrived too late for check-in and didn't plan to have dinner here, so we didn't bring dress / dinner jacket with us. And of course it's our fault, and not the hotel's, so for the next trip, we will make sure we won't arrive late and we will definitely make arrangement to try the dinner at the hotel, in both restaurants (the Grand restaurant and the Kronenstübli). Please note that the in the Grand restaurant, a dress for lady and a dinner jacket with tie for gentlemen is preferred. Also please note that the Kronenstübli closes on Sunday and Monday. We were there on Monday so we couldn't eat at the Kronenstübli anyway. Despite our stay was a short one, for only 1 night, but we had a great and rememberable experience. We look forward to come back to stay here again in the future, and of course with a longer duration. Grand Hotel Kronenhof will definitely be number one on the top of the list of hotel choice when we have an opportunity to visit the region next time.

Review 45:The staff is the most friendly we have ever experienced in any hotel. Friendly by heart, and very dedicated delivering the right expectations. Very clean rooms, and the food is superb.

Review 46:This was an outstanding experience staying at the Grand Hotel Kronenhof. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was extraordinary both in the cuisine and the decor. Our stay at the Grand Hotel Kronenhof was a highlight of our trip while touring the Alps. An exquisite hotel with remarkable staff.

Review 47:A remarkable hotel from the beginning to the end. Our party of 4 were very satisfied and were able to have a wonderful weekend at the hotel despite the unexpected snow which forced us to cancel our hiking plans! We will be back!

Review 48:The Wi-Fi did not work in our room, and it took 12 hours for the reception staff to believe us. It was only due to our pure patience to their remarks such as 'It is your computer that is the problem' that we could finally together understand the reason why the Wi-Fi did not work. Nevertheless, we did not feel treated as guests of a 5 star hotel. Also, do avoid the half pension facility if you do not wish to wear a jacket each evening to eat dinner.

Review 49:Spacious rooms, historical building, good food, fair breakfast

Review 50:We loved every little thing. The hotel is superb. The staff is spoiling, friendly and proud to serve. The accomodation, the dining room and the spa are outstanding. We recommand the hotel warmly.

Review 51:My wife and I stayed there for a week in late March for a skivacation and had a terrific time. The staff was very friendly andattentive and went out of their way to help out. The hotel isbeautiful and the spa in particular was awesome. The food is reallygood, especially the kronenstubli restaurant. Yes it is all veryexpensive, but it is Switzerland and the Alps (I.E. everything isexpensive) and it is worth it.

Review 52:The breakfast is not up to the standard of the hotel there is no casual/local restaurant

Review 53:The service and the spa/swimming pool are excellent. The room tidy buttoo classic.

Review 54:Formality of dinner...Had to wait for room to be ready...would have been helpful to have more suggestions at the ready for what to do to fill the time.

Review 55:The hotel is clearly all that it says it is and more. The facilities arespacious and "warm". The staff is committed and attentive and clearlydefines "true client focus". The spa (including the "sauna world") arewell worth the visit.Notable support from the concierge staff. Bring a jacket for dinner in the Grand Restaurant....

Review 56:Exceeded our expectations in every way. Spa was fantastic after a day of skiing. Staff were welcoming, very helpful and unpretentious. Luxurious weekend getaway.

Review 57:There was nothing I did not like.

Review 58:The hotel is a dream come true with a wonderful room, exquisite food, and staff that is happy to go the extra mile for you.

Review 59:Service was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Understated luxury at it's best.

Review 60:Everything

Review 61:The obligation of dress code at dinner.

Review 62:Spa, nature, breakfast. Everything was perfect
