Review 1：It's not that I had a bad experience but I was disappointed to find lino instead of carpet. That would have been nice to have been informed of that.
Review 2：I liked that it had a kitchenette would have been even better if it had been stocked with breakfast food.
Review 3：The hosts of Valley Star, Bimla and Ravin, were gracious and welcoming. The rooms were clean and exactly as shown in the images seen online. There was a lovely courtyard area with gazebos and tables where we could enjoy a cocktail outdoors with our friends. Had it been warmer, we would have taken advantage of the pool for sure. Heads up, bring a small basket filter for the two cup coffee machine if you plan on drinking your own coffee in the morning.
Review 4：Room was very dated. Didnt look like the pictures at all. Bed was old, microwave and fridge looked like it was something from the 80's. Even the face and hand towels were brown and gold.

Review 7：Our stay was 5 nights over Christmas...our mini-suite was warm and cosy. We were on the back side and it was very quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Review 9：The wifi is a strong signal, the motel is quiet, no partiers, no loud music, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Its our 5th stay there, we like it. We travel with a dog, and it's never been an issue
Review 10：Not many good restaurants nearby so go to White Spot or bring groceries. Toilet lid wouldn't stay up and toilet rocked on floor. We checked out very early and sleepy owner didn't ask how stay was. Good value.
Review 11：Clean well maintained charming little motel equipped with pool and playground. Bbq's and kitchen facilities make up for lack of good restaurants nearby. Loved the colourful flower beds and baskets galore. Beds were pretty and comfortable. Next time we will stay longer.....and perhaps bring grandchildren.
Review 12：There seemed to be a lot of motels along the street that offered the exact same thing so I would shop around to find the best price. I think Valley Star was the cheapest and rated highest online but we could have also showed up there and driven around looking for vacancies.
Review 13：This would be a great place for an affordable family holiday. Good kitchen facilities, cute BBQ and patio area and steps away from the beach. Plus there's a pool. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
Review 14：Excellent value, walking distance to the Skaha Lake park. Not close to downtown and many restaurants so take a cab to the downtown area. We had an awesome dinner at Salty's.

What a treat it was to be in the company of such amazing hosts, who attended to our every question with knowledge and a willingness to make our stay wonderful. Don`t be fooled by the buildings being older as the facility is the cleanest we`ve stayed in anywhere in the world and some of the supposed 5 star hotels could take a lesson from these folks! Review 64：Odd that the the the neighbour sat right outside our window smoking while we were eating our lunch. It was just a bit uncomfortable. However,she only sat there for the first day,later she moved to the picnic area to smoke! we were in rm 22.

Getting a King room, I figured it was the one listed on the ad, so I was expecting something totally different for the price of it. too small of an area for our dog, and we were told 3 times when checking in before we even got to the room that we could not walk him anywhere else on the property...he doesn't like grass, so this was difficult

Review 79：The welcome was very friendly. They made sure the air con was on for us before we arrived so that the room was cool in a heat wave. The room was compact but very clean. There was a small but well heated pool. Whilst we did not cook, the motel had a lot of families using the BBQ facilities which looked good.
