Review 1：I think everything was very clean and pretty standard. The location was great. Although, for this prime location it would make a emence difference and very valuble change if the beds has softer, more comfortable bedding.

Review 4：Parking is not the best...more than once (in 5 days) we arrived to find that someone else was either parked in or using our parking stall as a patio. This forced us ( a senior with a child) to park down at the back of the property. :-(

Review 15：I have stayed @ other motels on the same strip and I really liked thebbq areas and pools they had. There was a group of loud rowdy guysstaying there as well. They spent a lot of time drinking in the parkinglot and yelling inappropriate conversation, revving their vehicles (Iget it, it's summer in the ok, everyone is there for fun). But itgot to be a bit much after a few days and the motel never asked them tostop disturbing the other guests. Over all, the motel is good! It wasjust the disturbance of the other (rowdy) guests. I would recommend.
Review 16：The location of the Black Sea motel is perfect! Right on the OkanaganLake and in walking distance of everything downtown. I have stayed heretwice, both times the room was very clean and the location convenient.Close to the Channel and dining. Has most of what you would need for aquick weekend get away.

Review 29：The curtains could be a little darker to keep the sun out better. The air conditioner worked well but was noisy. A few more utensils etc. in the kitchenette would be useful. There should be room numbers on the parking spaces. A larger space to turn cars around would make it easier to exit the parking lot.
Review 30：The owner/manager was very helpful and friendly. She even brought us fresh picked fruit! We loved being that close to the beach. Room was cleaned well every day by friendly staff who acknowledged us whenever they saw us. Any request we made to them was responded to very quickly. We loved this place and will be going back.
Review 31：The first room they showed had a broken air conditioner. The next room, fortunately, it was working OK. However, in this room, there was a loud noise every time you turned on the water. The worst thing was the attitude of the owners/managers. They never apologized for any problem (AC broken or lack of coffee in room). They didn't try to be helpful - unlike every other place we stayed in Canada - and didn't know much about the area (eg which restaurants were open late.)

The close proximity to the beach was possibly the only draw to stay at this property. We paid more per night to stay at this property than we paid at a top Hotel in Vegas 2 months ago.

Review 98：This is very very minor it did not make any difference to my Dad and I. The Hotel still uses that old key system. It does not have the modern card swipe locks on the doors. Thats was ok with us but some may not like that.

Review 100：Older motel, recently updated. Manager very friendly and an excellent host. First room he gave us had a plugged bathroom sink, he immediately moved us to another similar room, and had the first one fixed that same afternoon.

Spiders nest of eggs over the main light. And that smell, it never went away. It could have been from the previous tenant cooking fish, but it hit you as soon as you walked in. if we had been staying more than a night, we would have looked elsewhere.
