The Hotel Kristall-Saphir is a family-run hotel in the picturesque village of Saas Almagell, a 10-minute drive from Saas-Fee. It offers a sauna, a steam bath and free Wi-Fi.
In summer 2011, the use of all mountain railways in Saas-Fee as well as the public bus and the Metro-Alpin is free of charge.
All rooms have a balcony and a satellite TV.
Fine cuisine including 4- or 5-course dinners and a rich buffet breakfast can be enjoyed in the restaurant. In the summer guests can sit on the outdoor terrace.

Review 2：Well everything in fact .... Excellent service and extremely helpful staff. Food was well priced , varied and very tasty and the New Years Eve buffet surprise amazing. We skied at Saas Almagell and Saas Grund . Walked into Saas Fee along a Narnia like route and a day trip to see the Matterhorn was easy ... Highly recommended for those looking for a high mountain quiet location...

Review 4：Out of 17 tv channels not a single one in English. No menus inEnglish. Very poor breakfast buffet. Same choice of cold food everysingle day! Every guest gets an information booklet on their tableevery morning about the activities that day and menu. All in German.Hotel is ok only for people who speak German. No Iron in Hotel!! Nokettles in the rooms. Linen is changed once in a week. Christmas Eveand Christmas dinners were expensive and not adjusted to kids. ForChristmas Eve dinner we end up paying 55 fr per person with 30% and40% reduction for kids. Kids went to beds hungry. Including drinks wespent 220fr for the dinner, so you can imagine the frustration.Christmas dinner was 48 fr per person and the same story with kids. Iwonder if any child will eat baked tomato stuffed with mushrooms. Orrarely done piece of turkey for the main.
