Review 1：It would be better if there is a slope along the stairway in front of the hotel entrance for carrying heavy luggages easier.

Review 4：The staff was super friendly, and went above and beyond making sure all our needs were met. The woman at the front desk walked us through a couple of different maps with options of things to do in the city, and they even brought us an extra heater for the night since it was going to be cold! Don't trust the older photos; it's been newly renovated with a modern look, and spacious rooms and bathroom areas.

Review 5：Stayed here for 2 nights on a trip around Switzerland. This was by far the best hotel of the trip, from checking in to leaving the staff were brilliant and friendly. The male receptionist who checked us in even went to the trouble of finding us more info on our travels the next day. Room was clean and modern, and with breakfast included in the price the whole stay was brilliant value.

Review 7：This is a lovely hotel we had a brand new modern room very well appointed. The receptionist was extremely friendly and very helpful. Bus right outside which takes you to Brigerbad Thermal Pools. Good breakfast served in lovely original part of the hotel.

Review 14：First time in Switzerland - lovely. This hotel was small and comfortable, the furniture looking like something out of 'Heidi'. The town of Brig itself was lovely and the weather was hot. Surrounded by the Alps, the views from the hotel room were breathtaking.

Review 15：I have never felt more happy to leave a review for a hotel than I do for Steakhouse Central. It was truly delightful staying at the hotel specially made most comfortable and well looked after by Phillipe who deserves a special mention. I have never come across anyone as attentive and caring towards guests at hotels as Phillipe. He was genuinely interested in our comfort during our stay at the hotel. He even got a delightful chocolate for my husband on his birthday. Thank you Phillipe! Definitely the place to stay if you are going to Brig!!

Review 17：Phillip was such an friendly, helpful manager: he greeted us personally upon our late arrival and left information under our door about tours/sights we had discussed. The room was spacious with a very comfy bed and had REAL furniture! Breakfast was substantial. Ten min walk from train station too. We want to return!

NOT 'romantic' ... but if lodging is, for you, 'just a bed', (Convent) Hostel Ursula worked the charm ...

Review 19：LOVED Phillip's warm welcome & concern that we love his city. Delighted in the coziness of our room ... too much so! When the weather did not permit our seeing Matterhorn we 'snuggled down' w/ a grocery 'picnic' our first afternoon there. The breakfast was awesome & the breakfast room delightful. ALL the staff couldn't have been nicer. I only wish this had been just a TAD less expensive ... Jim says, 'it costs money to live in Babylon', but Brig, while lovely & charming, is NOT 'Babylon' . That being said, Steakhouse is at the lower end of lodging costs, so if you're going to stay anywhere in Brig, STAY HERE!!!

Review 20：Bed and pillows weren't comfortable at all Breakfast is rather poor, but is always included in price of the room.

Review 21：Literally next to the Cesar Ritz University but rather far from campus. Good they have the steakhouse downstairs, very solid stakes, although rather small portions for my taste. Very friendly personnel

Review 23：Large room with balcony and lovely mountain views. The staff could not be more helpful and attentive. Breakfast was excellent. The location is good for shops, cafes and the station. The hotel restaurant is good value.

Review 26：We got a free upgrade to the honeymoon suite, what a nice surprise! The owner was extremely helpful and gentle. The honeymoon suite is beautiful and romantic. Bathroom is equipped with jacuzzi though we did not use it in the end.
