Review 1：The owner of this motel is wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff were very personable and maintained the room immaculately. The parking was ample and the location across from the lake beach was excellent for long walks with our small dog. Great value for a reasonable price. We stayed in early September when all the families were away. I think that was perfect, as the pool and overall facilities were quite quiet.
Review 2：Friendly, helpful staff. The unit was bright and cheerful with lots of natural light. We found the full size fridge great for storing perishables and the stove and cupboard space quite handy.
Review 3：You have to step up to the kitchen and bathroom areas and the only sink is in the kitchen area.

Review 5：Got locked out of the room one morning and the office opened up after the posted time said. Housekeeping did not replenish soap or shampoo.
Review 6：Location was excellent. Right across from the beach made for easy potty and snack breaks with two young kids and Salty's was just a few doors down!
Review 7：The bathroom shower head is very low. I'm only 5'-6" and I had to bend over to get my head under and rinse properly. Room only had coffee and no tea...did not ask if they had tea though.... Headed to Timmy Ho's instead.
Review 8：Across from the beach. Room was clean and bright. Staff was friendly. Liked our little balcony outside the door. Daughter enjoyed the salt water pool.
Review 9："Lake view" was barely that...barely acceptable and only "acceptable" after complaining about our initial room assignment which was ground level at the back of the property looking straight at the fence and short wall surrounding the outdoor pool...we were moved to the second level and could then see the lake...best view was attained by leaving the door open...wifi was very inconsistent (useless at times)...bed a bit on the stiff/hard side
Review 10：Very clean...front desk fellow was friendly/nice and accommodated our request for a better view but we couldn't understand his reluctance to give us a room centered on the 2nd level rather than the one he assigned us to at the end of the building (more centrally located would have had a better lake view)...no one was in either of those center rooms the first 2 nights (of 3) that we were onsite
Review 11：Very uncomfortable, almost crippling bed; room left unlocked one day by cleaning staff (luckily our lap top and e readers were not stolen). Room was not as requested, bed was not as requested, floor of room was not swept.

Review 15：The first day our room had no garbage can in bathroom, bedroom or kitchen! They had the coffee maker with no complementary coffee, tea or sugar for the coffee maker. There was an awful smell in the room too that was causing breathing problems for both me and my husband. We found out after from the clerk they had just painted.

Review 22：We stayed 4 nights and only on the 3rd night stay did they actually clean the tub and wash the mirrors. Floor could of used a good sweep. But all in all it wasnt bad. A little pricey, but your paying for the location.

Review 66：The proximity to lake Okanagan is fantastic. A few steps from the door and you can enjoy the beach. Also quite easy to find the recreation center and tourist information center as well. I would stay here again for sure.
Review 67：we love Penticton and the Crown has a great location (on the beach and a quick walk to many coffee shops and several restaurants - three of our all-time favorite restaurants are in the area). we also love the vacation feel of the Crown, including the perfect verandas and overall charm.

Review 70：Unfortunately, because our booking started in the winter we didn't get to enjoy a lot of the amenities, including the gorgeous lake beaming through my window. But, we did not come here in the winter for the lake - we came for Apex Skiing and the prospects of yester-years ice-wine.
Review 71：The front desk attendant went out of her way to help us find the best room for our stay. At first, It was almost like staying at a time-share...but, we knew it wasn't. Nonetheless, the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy a home-cooked meal and act as if it were a time-share. It was calm and cozy at night - and we got a suite with an awesome view of the lake. Our stay here was worth the time to write a review. We plan to always book a room here if and when we come to Penticton.
Review 72：We like fresh air and couldn't open our bedroom window as the lock was broken off. No extra roll of toilet tissue was left in bathroom. Stairs were an issue, in hindsight would of asked for a lower room. Bright lights left on at night on the walk ways/outside. If someone would of been sleeping on the pull-out they would have trouble sleeping. Too bright!

Review 74：Urine and paper in toilet bowl on arrival. Sandy floors. Lack of room maintenance. Failure to provide room service other than make the bed (pull the cover only on one day). No other guests eating or drinking in the restaurant/bar - probably due to poor maintenance and shabby look. General premise maintenance was very poor. Over priced and would have gone else where had there been vacancies. Ibelieve this premise only tries to cash in on local events when vacancies are low. Never stay or recommend to anybody. My room No. was 202.

Review 82：It was a very poorly laid out room. For example, the air conditioner was placed right in the mirror above the sink. The fridge is wedged in the corner by the sink & in the closet making it difficult to get at both. There were very few plugs in the room & awkwardly placed. There are no umbrellas in pool area or at the table in front of the unit. The area to eat around the pool is tight. On the other hand, the rest of family were staying down the street at the Golden Beach & they had none of these issues. For the cost of the room, it should have been a more inviting place to stay.

Review 87：We liked that the motel was very "quaint" and an overall good value for our money. Having access to a small fridge was very helpful to have fresh fruit and other snacks on hand. The rooms were clean and the staff were HIGHLY accomodating and friendly. We arrived at 1:00 p.m. and although they had not received my email request for an early check-in they very happily cleaned a room for us rather quickly. The owner on several occasions came by to either say hello and ensure we had everything we need. My young children loved the pool.
Review 88：I didn't like the price. At $149.00/night, I expected a better quality motel. No sink in bathroom. Sink located in main area near window that didn't have any coverings. Bedding clean but faded.

The owner is amazing and very knowledgeable about the area and made me feel right at home.
