Review 1：The breakfast offered did not have any protein. Eggs would have been a welcome addition as well as gluten free options. the breakfast area was far too small.
Review 2：Staff wasn't particularly friendly or helpful. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The breakfast was extremely minimal and the seating area was almost non-existent.

Perhaps the door between the hall and the breakfast area could have been kept closed during the very early hours.

We didn't notice that the first night because we were very tired, but it did not allow us to deadbolt the door. We removed it the next day. It made us feel a bit uneasy. The girl at the desk said they do that for sound control.

Review 21：I didn't like the fact that after travelling by plane and arriving at 1 am to check in we were told that the 10:30 am check out time was firm and to stay an hour or so later would cost extra money. Also the tub was not that clean.

Review 27：asked to borrow an ironing board (brought my own iron) and was only given a 3ft table top unit which is not useable. Every other motel/hotel I have stayed at has both an iron and full sized board in the room. The water was only warm, adequate but only warm. Felt like I was washing my face with a washcloth that had been sitting for a minute or two. It may be a small complaint, but the toilet paper was dreadfully thin, almost transparent, hence it required using considerably more than if management had just purchased decent paper to begin with. Included Continental breakfast offerings are now falling behind what others are offering. Check out the offerings of the new Motel 6's being built to see what I mean. The highway side sign, which is what one uses to locate the hotel, is very small and hard to read, as it is hidden by trees, when travelling from the city westbound. Some may miss the hotel because of this.
Review 28：Very quiet, quiet climate controls and air conditioner, power outlets accessible, nicely laid out and equipped bathroom facility, except for el-cheapo toilet paper, clean rooms and NO bedbugs.

Review 52：Where do I start? We booked the King "suite" (I use the term suite very loosely here) for our anniversary. We are locals and just wanted to have a night away. I was very disappointed with what we for for a $200 night. Here's a list of things that were wrong: Horrible wifi - very slow and choppy Cable box didn't work Lock on bathroom door not working Huge hole under sink Dirty comforter Hard bed Unfriendly and unhelpful front staff No ice or staff past 10:30, or no visitors/deliveries. One very limited vending machine. Hardly a suite Not worth the price No liner for ice bucket No microwave DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!

Review 64：The Thunder Bay Inn was very easy to find, close to shopping and Kakabeka Falls. The suite was very clean (and I am a stickler when it comes to cleanliness). You must take the stairs to your suite, so be sure to keep a light overnight pack so that you are not required to carry your large suitcases up and down.

Never spent more than a couple of hours in Thunder Bay and accessing the major city streets and highways was essential during my stay there. Kind of like going home once I learned the lay of the land. Great place to relax at the end of the day. Peaceful setting off the major streets yet convenient access to the city.

Hotel is a little pricey compared to others at similar price that also provide pool, hot tub and hot breakfast. Also, the kettle from the breakfast area had been stolen, not sure when, but had not been replaced when we were there, so no hot water available in the morning.

We were told it was because of the breakfast of which she eats very little.
