Review 1：The Restaurant, even the most casual one, is a bit pricey, but that's Switzerland.

Review 2：We loved the setting, the traditional Swiss feel and charm of the whole place! Excellent stay all around and we'd love to stay here again.

Review 3：1.can hear a little bit from people upstairs 2. since it's very quite and peaceful, there aren't many things to do around (there are stores and restaurants, but it's not a big city, so not a lot of fun places,I guess you might as well just enjoy the peacefulness :)

Review 5：Minimal soundproofing in the room. You could hear luggage rolled through the hallway, toilets flushed, conversations in the room above continuing late in to the night.

Review 9：We were upgraded to a superior suite in the new building with no extra cost. Fantastic views of the Lake. Fantastic room with split level accommodation within easy walking distance of the lake and the small village. Lovely breakfast.

Review 15：lovely room with doors onto a large patio with views over the lake and the fields behind the hotel [room 208]. room was very clean and worth ever penny.

Review 16：There was no possibility to have dinner in the restaurant, because we didn't reserve on time (we were dissapointed about this in the first place, because we were hotel guests) . But in the end, the advice to go to an other restaurant with our two little kids was very good and I think with kids even more appropriate!

Review 18：Breakfast was a little disappointing, no hot food options wasn't what was expected given the lovely dining area. Wifi not available in the old part of the building so couldn't access wifi from the room, only able to get in new reception and dining area.

Review 19：Very friendly staff, excellent service at reception and in the restaurant. Room had a balcony that looked out onto Lake Lucerne giving a truly lovely view. Room was clean and very comfortable, an element of faded grandeur but it didn't mater as it suited the 300 year old building.

Review 22：we stayed in the large family room. It was beautiful. The beds are the normal very firm European style, not my favorite but it is what it is. Awesome room, with an out of this world bath tub, heated, jacuzzi, bubbles. If we didn't have kids it would have been a very romantic room. The stairs up to the tub are a little narrow. If we go back to this area we plan on staying here again.

Review 25：Rooms were a little basic, quite warm even in Autumn. No air conditioning. Bathroom roof sloped, made it feel cramped, no ventilation in bathroom. No Internet in room.

Review 27：It's honestly not cheap. However, I think it is worth it once in a while to take a nice trip out to a good hotel. If visiting Luzern, this is a great alternative and most probably even cheaper than Luzern itself.

Review 28：Good walk from the centre (10 min.) of Weggis, however not too far away if no problem with walking. Great breakfast, very friendly and helpful people, sweet rooms! Entrance of the hotel part also has a small living room with magazines, which serves perfectly to plan the next day. Restaurant is very nicely situated with a nice view, IF you're fast enough for a good seat :-). Do take the boat from Weggis to either Luzern or any other direction.

Review 36：There was nothing to dislike at the Hotel Friedheim. The location above the village and lake Lucerne meant that the views were amazing and it was also very peaceful. The owners Mr & Mrs Zimmerman-Thali were very welcoming and friendly as were the rest of the staff. The restaurant was excellent and dinner on the terrace was a great experience. The standard of meals was way above average and the breakfast buffet was extensive. Altogether a wonderful experience.

Not really any facilities for relaxing outside, as no service for drinks etc unless you went into the hotel to order it! Did not realise the hotel closed for 2 days a week, even in high season - very dead and only half board food served. Nice modern rooms, but with some problems, eg no where to put make up etc if you had to use the mirror in bedroom and no grab rail in shower cubicle - very difficult for a disabled/ older person to keep their balance. Bedroom was not as clean as it should have been; not hoovered each day.

Review 66：It was nice to stay in Weggis after we went to Rigi. Hotel was great even it was a bit difficult to find it from the cable car station. We booked 2 rooms and both rooms faced to the lake and the glassland. The hotel is comfortable & warm. The staff was friendly & breakfast was great. We hope to stay in Friedheim in future.

Review 67：This hotel mainly features photos on their website and brochure of theirnew building which only has a few, very expensive rooms. The majority ofthe other rooms are in a much older building next door. The hotelpromotes itself in an inaccurate and incomplete way.
