Review 1：I liked that it had a separate kitchen for cooking. The outdoor covered patio, 2 simulated firepits, 3 large BBQ'S, the pool, hot tub and sauna were all very nice amenities. A great place to have a family reunion or other type of group function.
Review 2：It would be nice if the bathroom had a fan instead of cracking the window, which is in he hallway where others walk by. The decor was nice but more updating of this facility will be needed in future. And a small detail, but potentially a liability, was that the sprinklers sprayed on the stairs, it would be good if this could be adjusted.

Review 4：a bit out of the way to find, and also to travel to other areas of the city, but city is small so wasn't too bad. Motel is a bit dated, and could use a face lift.
Review 5：Very spacious. Full kitchen including stove, fridge, dishes, and utensils. Spa, including pool and hot tub. Staff very friendly and helpful, and fixed a problem right away in the suite.

Review 9：Family owned business that really made us feel welcome, and the kids loved the pool and location right by the go carts/adventureland. My wife and I loved the central BBQ area with the best grills we've ever used.

Review 11：I loved the courtyard area, complete with warm water pool and small hot tub. There was also a bbq covered area and a few tables with gas fire pits. Beautiful ambiance. I will definitely stay there again! We loved it.
Review 12：Too loud into the night. Walls thin. Learned more about my neighbors than I liked. Room faced the BBQ area & pool where it appeared both staff & guests congregated till too late in the evening for my preference. I'm certain others of a more social attitude would find it entertaining.

Review 18：The bed had been laid on and not remaid.it was a non smoking room but it smelled like stale smoke and beer. Very noisy in the morning next to the stairs.could not sleep past 8 am and we arived at 130 am.

Review 32：I love this place. We wanted something close to the beach and more family oriented. It was a few min walk and everyone was so friendly. The staff were amazing, the room was nicely air conditioned and we had everything we needed.
Review 33：There was an amusement park directly across the street in clear view from the suite. My children were incessantly reminded of it and constantly bothered us to go there. That negated the rest of the experience for us.

Review 40：The staff/owners. They're just so happy to have you there and remember your name as you walk by. Super willing to help you with anything they can and super accommodating to all requests. Also, the Internet connection was the BEST I have ever had in any hotel ever. Wasn't on it much, but it was nice to not have to worry about trying to get a connection. The facilities were amazing. 4 BBQ's that are brand new and in a beautiful setting. The pool area is all quality. Bowmont has great facilities. Also it's like a 2 minute walk to some really nice restaurants on the lake strip. Salty's is a hop, skip and a jump away. I am staying there next time. Not even a question.

Review 43：No highchair! Me and mom have rented a family suite for 4 nights and the only time we were able to eat together with my 8 months baby girl was when we went out. They have really nice patio, lots of options to sit down and enjoy your meals. We had to take turns because someone had to hold the baby. Tip for Bowmont Motel: Ikea has really cheap highchairs! Just buy one or two and THEN call yourself a 'family friendly' place. Frustrating experience.

Review 45：There was nothing we didn't like -- which is rare. We travel a lot for business and stay in a lot of different hotels and motels and there's is almost always something that needs improving.
Review 46：We liked everything . . . from the location to the property itself to the family owning and running the place! With the covered outdoor barbecue and patio area to the lovely pool to the grassy yard, with seating all around (including right outside our door) it couldn't have been much better -- but it was! Go inside and we had a simply but beautifully appointed, nicely renovated room, with a full separate kitchen . . . and an uber-comfortable bed. We can't wait till we can find the time to go back for a longer stay!

Review 63：Very roomy, nicely designed rooms - more like a small apt. than a motel room. - 60's style. Kitchen,floor and bed clean. No carpets. Able to walk - coffee shops, take out,and grocery store near by. Summer time - beach not far away. Flat streets for walking as hip replaced.

Review 72：I traveled alone and got there pretty late. The staff was very efficient and i got my room key just in a minute. The kitchennette was cute, with a coffee maker, a toaster and a microwave. The shower was newly renovated which was very clean and spacious.

Our neighbours had clothes strewn all over the balcony in front of our room, shoes cluttering the walkway and they took our chairs. Not much the hotel can do about disrespectful neighbours. We spent most of our time away from the motel to avoid them and the incessant screaming

Review 83：The beds were horrible, we woke up sore every morning. The room had a gross old musty smell. The hotel was very loud. Anytime a kid went running by outside the whole room shook. You could hear the other guests talking and moving around in there rooms loud enough like they were in ours. Everything in the room was very outdated and not in a cool retro way.

Review 92：For us, we found the high density foam bed on or king very hard and slept quite poorly the whole time unfortunately. Management did try hard to help with a mattress topper but it didn't help us unfortunately. There was no microwave so in room meals were a bit of a challenge.
