Review 1：The view from our room wasn't great.

Review 2：I booked this hotel for my girlfriends birthday and the treatment we received over the weekend from start to finish was exceptional. The food in the restaurant is great. The room was clean and warm. The bed was comfortable. Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay. We even had one of the treatments from the spa which was really good too. I can't recommend this place enough.

Review 3：Although the hotel was not full we were given a room overlooking the back streat an of course in the evening it was very noisy. I dont understand hotels who in low occupancy dont go the extra mile in providing a better room. Breakfast - very nice, not worth its price though.

Review 6：The standard bedroom and bath were comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, great pillows and linens. Convenient location, on the lake and short walk to the train station. Free overnight parking at nearby parking lot, but need to pay during the day with five-hour maximum.

Review 7：The price for breakfast is absurd. CHF 39 for continental and CHF 49 for the buffet. Hardly saw anyone eating breakfast. Even our Swiss friends did not take the breakfast.

Review 39：Incredible value, location cannot be beat and this is a luxury, first class hotel with exceptional service. From the parking lot greeting to check-in, from my adhoc hotel tour to my escort to our room, through checkout and back to my car, the service was beyond perfect. The level of luxury and service caught me by surprise.

Review 53：the breakfast was disappointing - although we were quite early a number of dishes had little left and weren't replenished. Also, not the variety of dishes we have seen at many lesser hotels; very annoyingly, a piano tuner was tuning the grand piano right the way throughout breakfast - very noisy and very irritating. Why choose this time to tune the piano? It spoilt the whole ambience of the meal. When I mentioned this as I settled the bill, the receptionist thought it quite funny and said the tuning took a long time so they had to start early.

Nestled in the most fabulous location one could dream of it did blended the history and the swiss setting which had everything for me without being too overbearing which you get with most luxury hotels. Staying with a family brings greater demands and the small personal touches and attention to detail were a pure delight and really appreciated by our young children. Looking forward to coming back again.
