Review 1：We wanted to visit a local vineyard and the hotel staff was less than helpful. We asked them if they knew the best way to get there, they did not and said they would research it, which they didn't.

Review 2：Very nice and comfortable.

Review 3：very cramped: hardly a foot of walking space around the bed. no wardrobe for clothes so you had to keep the suitcase on a stool. a single plug point to charge your phone/laptop/anything else. a fair walk from the nearest grocery store/supermarket.

Review 10：We arrived early and the member of staff we saw did not greet us - just said that we could not check-in until 2pm. It was unnecessarily abrupt and rude.

Review 11：Fortunately, the staff member who checked us in was courteous and very helpful. The garden room was a comfortable size, clean, modern and just right for a two night stay when we were out with friends all day.

Review 12：The owner is very rude. When we called because we were locked out(forgotten room key), she cursed at us in french and hung up the phone.She did let us in, but not before yelling more curse words at us.

Review 13：The room was hot and airless, even though we had the windows open. Our room with a`view of the mountains`! was very noisy. On your internet site , you write that the hotel is in a quiet residencial area!? We also did not know there was a garage right next door.

Review 17：The guy who checked us in was very kind and friendly and anticipated our questions and needs at a busy time. The breakfast room is fresh and clean and has lots of light and lake views. The food selection is perfect.

Review 18：- The rooms were extremly small- The 'mountain view' room should be renamed the 'freeway view' room. I would not stay here again unless I got a second floor room on the lake view side. The mountain side was extremly noisy on the road. The first floor 'lakeview room' was more a 'back hedge' view room. - The place was very expensive and had a very poor location for a overnight trip to vevey

Review 32：It's only a 10 minute walk from the Vevey train station and looks verystraight-forward on a map. We attempted the route but found it to beslightly more confusing, with a few turns and intersections which werenot adequately reflected on our map. You have to walk along a prettybusy road and follow it all the way, even when it gets a bit more industrial-looking. We had no ironing board in the room, but, upon request, one wasprovided. It was the kind you place directly on the bed (no legs) andwas absolutely miniscule. My boyfriend had alot of trouble ironing hisshirt in preparation for the wedding reception.

Review 33：We thought the staff were fantastic. They went above and beyond toensure that our stay was comfortable. We were in the hotel for 1 nightto attend a wedding taking place between Montreux and Vevey and hadslept in afterwards until the last possible moment. Although we werebarely on time to check out and clearly too late for breakfast, the ladyat reception still invited us to proceed to the dining room where thehostess served us some remaining croissants. We were amazed by herkindness. Also, the view from the room was stunning, looking out overthe city below.

Review 34：We had a garden room which clearly had been previously occupied by someone who smoked cigarettes. The smell of stale cigarette smoke lingered throughout our stay. I would recommend this hotel but suggest caution about the garden room. (We may have been unlucky.)

Review 35：The Hotel was ideally situated for our purposes. The breakfast was very enjoyable. We were glad to have the car parked at the back of the hotel with easy access to our room.

Review 36：Room too hot as it has no air condition. If you open the window, it's too loud as a gas station is right in front of the hotel.

Review 38：Management: I selected this hotel for its quality/price ratio, giventhat in late July prices go through the roof on the Montreux Riviera. Onthe 2nd day I was offered a room upgrade from basic to lake view. Iasked if (in their native language, French) would have implied a changein price. The front-desk lady answered clearly "no". At the check-outI've been asked to pay the upgrade. I explained the situation and theother front-desk lady (probably the owner, as it is family managed)blamed on me and said I accepted the upgrade knowing the pricedifference. They even filed a complaint with Booking.com customerservice. This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable!

Review 49：Very clean, modern and well appointed. Room & en-suite compact but newly decorated with a fresh & clean feel. Breakfast room up to the same standard. All staff are welcoming, friendly & polite. Good bus service (free with the Riviera card) or easy walking distance to the old town / train station. Would definitely stay there again and glad that we did not let the proximity of a petrol station put us off.

Review 50：The hotel was starkly modern, with no concessions to pleasant decor. It might have been a hospital. There was no attached restaurant, and to get a meal you had to catch a (rather infrequent) bus to the city centre, or have what they called "room service". The hotel had to send out for this, and when it arrived after a very long wait, which the poor receptionist apologised for, it consisted of cooked meals (not bad-tasting) in cardboard boxes! There was a restaurant next door, under separate management, but the food was not very good, and the restaurant expensive and pretentious. I would say that if you had a car, and just wanted to stay a night on business or on the way somewhere else, the Le Leman hotel would be fine. For people on holiday with no car, it was very disappointing.

Review 51：The breakfast was very good, with a choice of breads, cereals, fruit and meat & cheese. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked very well.

Review 55：The Le Leman hotel is a clean comfortable hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the lake and mountains. The only downside was its location which was hike from downtown. There is parking on site which is nice but without a car, it would be a long walk or bus ride from the train station.

Review 56：It was a wonderful surprise. The rooms are small, but great attentionhas been paid to design and detail. Gorgeous view out the window to LacLeman (Lake Geneva) and the mountains. Wifi is free and the room isdesigned with the view in mind.Breakfast was very thoughtfully put together, excellent fresh breads and fruit, sweet little flowers on the table, and again, that spectacular view. It IS above the Tamoil Station, which makes for a great story. In the back and in the winter, with windows closed, we heard NOTHING. In milder/hot weather I don't know what it would be like. Execellent location for visiting in the area.
