Review 2：We stayed here for one night and it was good enough for what we needed. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. The hotel was close enough to Zurich and Luzern. I think it's a nice place to stay in summer.

Review 11：The manager was terrific. The building is being renovated but there was no inconvenience. They plan to have the restaurant operational by 2016. The manager referred us to a restaurant just 100 meters away. The food there was very good. Excellent breakfast. Ideal location.

Review 12：Despite being renovated recently, the whole place needs a lot of attention. The reception area and breakfast room are dark and dismal. The staff are also extremely unwelcoming and not at all friendly.

Review 16：The hotel advertised a restaurant that was open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, it is ONLY open for the included breakfast. We were lucky to find a restaurant in a hotel 10 min away. Church bells chimed all night and had to keep windows closed to sleep. CAUTION: The currency is Swiss Francs and at check out the manager switched it to Euros which is more costly.

Review 17：The views of the lake from the hotel are beautiful. Although it is at the quiet end of the lake, it is an easy walk to the ferry to central Lucerne. The staff was extremely friendly and tried to be very accommodating.

Review 25：Location is excellent. One of the best location of any hotel that i have stayed in. Fantastic view of the lake. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Right next to the boat station although we had rental cars but for a trip of Lake Lucerne or Pilatus/Rigi, it was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 30：Fantastic location, balcony with superb view of Lake Lucerne. Absolute waterfront. No restaurant at present but refurbishing in future. However cafes and restaurants all around. ATM just up the street. Ferry terminal to go on the lake 5 mins walk. No problem parking on site for free.

Review 31：The location right on Lake Lucerne with spectacular views of the mountains and scenery are breath taking. Dominik Khan, the manager, is extremely welcoming and made our stay very special. Our room on the third floor had a balcony, was nicely decorated and very clean. We love this hotel. It is our third stay here.

Review 33：Great position overlooking the lake. A bit of road noise early morning but nothing too noisy. Several restaurants and cafes nearby. Just 2mins walk to the ferry and a 15min uphill walk to the cablecar

Review 34：Unfortunately the hotel no longer has a restaurant except for breakfast but hopefully this will be restored in the future. It wasn't a problem however as we had a very good meal at the nearby Hotel Gotthard.

Review 35：Loved this hotel right on the lake. Beautiful terrace and area with very comfortable seating where you can have a drink from the bar and enjoy the amazing view.You can also swim in the lake from here and as it was so hot some guests were. Our room was large and light with pretty "alpine" furniture and the bathroom with walk-in shower was contemporary and spotlessly clean. So pleased we chose a room at the front with double windows which had the most beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The staff were all helpful but especially Lara. She is warm, friendly and efficient and worked tirelessly to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Definitely a credit to the team.

Review 36：Need to take the (big) keys with us because the reception is not always guarded throughout the day... Bed with spring mattress is not so comfortable. Old-fashioned furniture in the room.

Review 48：Poor breakfast. We were not informed that the kitchen had closed and the hotel was no longer serving dinner., lunch or drinks. This was the reason we had chosen this hotel. Place felt neglected and soulless No tea or coffee making facilities in room and no water provided

Review 52：The restaurant was closed in July 2015, in advance of a major revamp. Only a handful (3 occasionally in total) running what remained. Lights out out and doors locked 10pm. I would give this hotel a miss at least until revamped, possibly mid 2016!

Review 53：We had a large impressive room, but with an old untrustworthy, rusty balcony. Room and view were excellent, as was the hotel's central position only a 150m walk to Lake Lucerne's landing stage.

Review 54：Staff were very pleasant when we found them but we had to hang around over and hour and a half when we arrived because there was no one about for us to check in. A telephone number had been left in a note on the desk but we were unable to get though.

Peaceful town with views of Lake Lucerne, boats coming and going, mountains, para-gliders, hiking, etc. City of Lucerne accessible by paddle-wheel boat, I'd rather stay here than Lucerne. Free parking for the car steps from the entrance.

Review 72：expensive (as is all of switzerland) but being right on the lake with those views it was still worth it to us! also, weggis is a small, quiet town, so not much going on at night if you're looking for action/nightlife! mini bar/fridge in the rooms would be a nice addition. we did get lots of ice from the restaurant for our cocktails with no problem though - much appreciated!

Review 74：Only problem was near-by church bell ringing every quarter hour day and night interrupting sleep, but got used to it.

What kind of 3-star hotel is that?! we wrote to them saying we will arrive around 22 pm cuz there was traffic, when we got there the manager wasn't even there while we're told that the manager will wait for us. he left us 2 waiters from the restaurant who cannot speak english... we asked for the receipt of the payment and they didn't even know how to print it out?! room was very simple bathroom is almost awful and poor.
