Reviews for Posada del Parque
Review 1:restaurant could be improved but OK. breakfast starts late (even for Chile) but can be worked around. a lot of dogs
Review 2:nice location, nice rooms and lovely owner and staff. Very interested in environmental awareness.
Review 3:The room was clean, spacious bathroom but the smell in bedrooms wasn't nice. Should be aired definitely more.
Review 4:This is very lovely place with a lot of cute decorations. The staff is very attentive. The hosts very nice and helpful. The view is awesome. Excellent place for family with children
Review 5:Can be difficult to find the place in the dark. Make sure to get good directions ahead of time (thanks to owner Monica who brought tea and snacks to the room after we got in close to midnight and mentioned that we'd missed dinner)
Review 6:We booked here for the location without reading much beforehand about what this place is all about - if we had, we probably would have planned a much longer stay. Lodge-like rooms are comfortable enough, but the park is absolutely beautiful and the owners are passionate about the land and very friendly and attentive. Seriously regret that we did not get the chance to partake in any of the guided activities but will not forget walking through the dunes, or asado and stargazing around the campfire.
Review 7:The fact that we could only stay one night due to our hectic travel arrangements
Review 8:The welcome, the staff, the friendliness.the owner is so well informed about the fauna and culture of his country,he was a joy to listen to.
Review 9:The natural setting, the kindness of manager Alejandra and also the owners. They cooked vegetarian lasagne especially for me and it was delicious.
Review 10:Rooms were musty and smelly when we arrived. Heating turned off in the night. No hot water in the bedrooms. When we asked for soup for supper (as it was very cold) we were told "it will take 50 minutes, do you still want it?". They waited until we were retiring to our rooms for the night before offering to light the campfire. They asked me to cancel my reservation with Booking.com and use their reservation by phone.
Review 11:The guides for the horse ride and kayaking were great, as was the terrain. The bbq was good.
Review 12:It's a bit far from Concon, the nearest town. A better location with a car. However, you can take regular buses to Concon and Vina Del Mar and the owners gave me some lifts to town. There is no WIFI.
Review 13:The owners and the manager gave me a warm welcome and took such good care of me. They treated me like family and gave me excellent service. The room was really big for the price and with a nice see view. The postada sits in a beautiful natural reserve, you can take long hikes in the dunes, on the beach and observe a lot of bird species or go horse riding. The Postada provides a series of sport and nature oriented activities. It's a charming area compared to the other costal towns near Valparaiso where they constructed too many modern buildings. .
Review 14:Our host took personal interest in making sure our accomodations and activities were just what we wanted. The young guides for our birding and kayaking were knowledgable, enthusiastic and fun to be with. The location was out of the beach craziness, relaxing and quiet. It was a wonderful stay, especially for folks wanting to know more about the natural environment.
Review 15:The map was unclear for our arrival. The property had seen better days, but still had charm. The setting up for a group event went far into the night -2am?
Review 16:The local views and walks to the estuary. Our corner room was nice.
Review 17:Poorly lit rooms and hot water comes and goes, but beds are comfortable and rooms well-decorated.
Review 18:The family that run the hotel were very helpful with suggestions for what to do at the hotel. They provided wet suits and we kayaked the lagoon to the ocean for no extra cost. We also hiked the birding trail and appreciated all the birding information they provided. Breakfast was eggs, bread, juice and sweets, very filling. Their BBQ looked amazing, but we could not stay!
Review 19:Not easy to reach, only possible to pay whit cash and no cash machines in the neighberhood
Review 20:Beautiful nature, lots of activities, very friendly people
Review 21:Because of small children we could not take advantage of facilities or location
Review 22:Staff and food
Review 23:Nothing.
Review 24:Highly focused on connecting guests with natural habitat. Large property with nature trails and outdoors activities.
