Review 1：I booked two rooms and I faced the same annoying problem for both the rooms as when the room housekeeping was done, the balcony doors were left open with the lights turned on inside the rooms and when I came at night the rooms were occupied with different kinds of insects such as mosquitoes and spiders which was really annoying. Don't forget to inform them to close the balcony doors after each housekeeping. Moreover, there is no Air Conditioner in the rooms so beware at summer time. Limited option for breakfast.

Review 2：The rooms which are viewing the lake are the best. The size of the room and the toilet were big enough. The staff are friendly. The pizza restaurant in the hotel is perfect. The availability of free parking for the guests.

Review 3：The restaurant in the hotel was fabulous- all dishes were perfect and actually the best meal on our entire trip across Europe. Lovely location with room 30mtrs from lake and 2min walk to ferry. Lillian in restaurant was most welcoming and kind.

Review 5：Peaceful town. If u r tired of city life, here is the option. The hotel is very close to the ferry station, right hand, 3-5 minutes. Easy to get to Rigi here. The staff is helpful, give us clear instructions of everything. The breakfast is nice. Like their bread, and many cheese choices.

Review 6：The restaurant was closed Mondays and Tuesdays( without notice) forcing a walk in the rain for 2-3 blocks to pick up a grocery store sandwich for dinner. Not happy about that

Review 9：Location is great. (We drive car). Our room is big and clean with view of Lake Lucerne. Our bathroom is big too with French window and balcony and view of the lake!!! I really love that. And there is elevator so quite convenient for a small size hotel.

Review 13：Perfect location with easy access by boat to visit near by towns, with lifts right behind the hotel can bring you up to Mountain Rigi, in the evening there are free shows in town which is a great plus, waking up each morning with the beautiful lake view is priceless!

Review 15：The hotel is really nice and clean. The location was perfect for me as it was away from the noise of the city center. we were happy to get the upgrade for a lake view. that was a nice touch.

Review 16：Along with the hot , humid weather came flies. Our delicious and pricey meal in the restaurant was absolutely ruined because the flies could not be controlled. My husband could not eat his meal and I'm just annoyed with myself that we did not ask to take the meal up to our room. This situation probably doesn't happen often but plans need to be put in place for when it does .

Review 17：Our upper floor room had a lovely view over the lake. It was hot and we were grateful for the fan in the room as there is no air-con. We took advantage of the free bicycle hire and enjoyed the sights from that mode of transport. The owners were amused when my husband sang them a song about Weggis that he had learned in primary school in Australia. Magdalena was a very attentive and friendly waitress.

Review 18：Wi-fi could have been stronger in the upper floor rooms but didn't detract from our wonderful experience.

Review 19：The location on the shores of Lake Lucerne was ideal. It was warm enough to swim in the lake and nearby pool and our adult children used the free access to a kayak to cross the lake. Convenient location for visiting or hiking Mt. Rigi. Outdoor dining at the restaurant right next to the lake was magical. We found the cuisine to be the best in Weggis!

Review 23：Stunning location - we had a superior balcony room overlooking the lake, which was absolutely beautiful.. The room was spacious, the bathroom very modern, both with wonderful views. Kettle and fridge in room, and strong wifi connection. The use of the swimming pool just over the road and the lakeside area with loungers and restaurant, plus free use of bikes are an added bonus. On seeing the hotel I thought the road between the hotel itself and the lakeside area might be a problem but it wasn't, as it is in a 30kph zone and very quiet. Just a few minutes walk to the boats to Luzern, and 15 minutes walk to cable car up the Rigi mountain, or 10 minute bus ride to Vitznau and the cog wheel railway. Really friendly, welcoming owners and staff. Lovely breakfast, and good choice of food in the restaurant from reasonably priced pizza to three course menu or a la carte. Would definitely go back.

Review 44：My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and have a renewed appreciation for Switzerland. This hotel was a really good value for the money. They have an agreement with the hotel across the street and you are able to use their Aroma steamroom and swimming pool which is located right on Lake Lucerne and is fantastic. The breakfasts were also exceptional. It's only about a 25-30 minute drive into Lucerne which is where we spent half a day. But Wegiss is very relaxing and I highly recommend this hotel and quiet, beautiful location.
