Reviews for Hotel Opat

Review 1:The reception staff must have had a bad day. So did the interior decorator. A great room with awful furniture and no creature comfort. The breakfast trays were empty and my asking for refill just earned the morose answer :we were the last ones.

Review 2:The restaurant is very good, excellent menu.

Review 3:The hotel is in a historic building in the centre of Kutna Hora - one of the sites of Kutna Hora, the stone fountain, is just outside the hotel and all of the other key sites in the town are within very easy walking distance. The hotel and its restaurant are very authentically Czech. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was bright. clean and comfortable.

Review 4:A very good location on the outskirts of the historic city center in proximity of all major monuments, pleasant ambience of one of the oldest houses in Kutná Hora. Delicious cuisine, free parking behind the hotel.

Review 5:No Air con

Review 6:Free Wifi

Review 7:Poor lighting in bathroom

Review 8:Parking; convenient location

Review 9:Difficult to open the window (we had a warm day).

Review 10:The general lay out (old building) and position, the quality of the service, the beer ...

Review 11:Needs a shower curtain to the bathroom.

Review 12:Lovely old building, spacious room for three. Excellent food in a restaurant.

Review 13:not a good parking for cars the parking not guarded and into the room where i sleep there isn t a radiator into the bath so in the winter i think will be cold

Review 14:the hotel is near the centre and confortable

Review 15:the room was very small and poor, no air conditioner and no window grid against mosquito. Breakfast was poor. The floor was dirty. It does not fit for 4 stars at all.

Review 16:parking was close to hotel and free of charge

Review 17:Bathroom had no shelf for guests to keep toiletries, etc. Quality of breakfast items should be better in **** hotel.

Review 18:Interesting historic building close to main sights. Spacious accommodation. Helpful staff.

Review 19:Everythign in town closes at 5...even on Saturday afternoon! Only a few restarurants were open.

Review 20:Loved the location of the hotel. The staff was really nice. The restaruant staff stole the show though. They were kind, spoke enough English and the food was fantastic!

Review 21:The mattresses were very, very thin. They were more suitable to a cot than a bed. The primary purpose of staying in a hotel is to sleep.

Review 22:The staff were very helpful and courteous.

Review 23:The bed was hard and uncomfortable. A very thin mattress resting om wood- no springs to make is more comfortable. I wouldn't have liked to sleepin that bed for several days. No minibar in the room - first time for mein a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was fresh, but the selection quite limited

Review 24:The hotel had a nice atmosphere in a beautiful old building. Ourroom (apartment) was spacious and nicely furnished. Everythingworked as it was supposed to. It was clean and inviting. Towels etc.in a good quality

Review 25:Rooms don't look like in 4* hotel at all. We booked within a special offer so it was ok, but normally is the hotel simply overpriced - the rooms are not that worth. There was heavy rain in Kutná Hora during our stay and it rained into our appartment during the ceiling. Wet maps around the windows told us that was not for the first time. Fee for dog (even little) is 200 CZK / cca 9 EUR per night. Paying so much for nothing, that's a shame.

Review 26:Good location, very nice staff, parking just behind the hotel. The room was clean and quiet, breakfast was more than sufficient (fried eggs, sausages, bacon, muesli etc.)

Review 27:The hotel Opat is a charming hotel in a charming Czech town. The keysights to see locally are all within walking distance of the hotel. Wenormally eschew hotel food, but decided to dine at the hotel restaurantfor dinner and were handsomely rewarded with a delicious meal. Internetis wireless and free, parking was free. I would give the Hotel Opat highrecommendations for the tourist traveler.

Review 28:There was not much meaningful information when we were trying to decide where to stay in Kutna Hora. We were very happy with the Hotel and the staff was great and very kind and thoughtful. Would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone. Will be back there someday.. Kutna Hora is a wonderful town.

Review 29:There was a bad smell (sewer water?) in the room, which eventually you stop noticing until you leave the room and return again with a fresh nose. It wasn't bad enough that we complained, or had to move, but just kind of unpleasant to walk into.

Review 30:The rooms was spacious (for two) and very comfortable. The beds are very firm, which we really liked.

Review 31:Really small issue but - missing sockets.

Review 32:Good position, kind staff, great value for price paid, parking possibility.

Review 33:1 Double room (single use): Strong WiFi signal intensity; Good location close to the main sightseeing spots; Comfortable bed; Very friendly staff.

Review 34:The heating system was a little bit noisy during the night.

Review 35:Good location, friendly staff,

Review 36:No soap

Review 37:Feels very small, almost like a luxury B&B.

Review 38:Clean, nice staff, decent furniture, parking out front.

Review 47:Good quality suite for 94 Euro. Adequate breakfast. Good food in the restaurant and cheap

Review 48:The staff were really helpful, the food and drink very good, and it has a very good location to explore Kutna Hora

Review 49:The staff were really warm and worked hard to make sure your stay was a good one. Location was great.

Review 50:booring and budget like rooms on the top floor, nothing like what was shown on the hotel pictures..
