Reviews for Moselromantik Hotel Weissmühle
Review 1:The bus to there runs every hour.. on weekends they are every 2 hours. so if you don't have your own car, you will consider paying €10 for taxis.
Review 2:The room was clean and quiet. Even though it's a bit far, but the place is nice and you will find many trekking trails over there all the way to Cochem the center. the Restaurant had a great set menu, it's my best meal so far in my backpacking trip to Europe.
Review 3:The hotel is located outside the center in the wood but this was perfect with the high temperatures. In the rooms it was still fresh. Very friendly owners.
Review 4:Bit scarry on approach having to pass camper park and drive into narrow valley, but hotel then a pleasant surprise.
Review 5:Old world charm with good sized room with most mod cons.Had nice restaurant and bar with great outdoor terrace. Staff friendly and enough English to get by. Free parking.
Review 6:I would recommend not leaving any valuables or money in the rooms as we had €5 stolen. The receptionist was very understanding and refunded us.
Review 7:Very friendly staff. Surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Review 8:Far from Cochem downtown. Internet connection was bad. Disconnects after every 5 min.

Review 16:The old decor of the hotel that has not been renovated for some time.
Review 17:Location in a forest, close to great hiking trails. Very peaceful and relaxing. Food at the restaurant (esp. their fixed-price menu) was delicious.
Review 18:Not really a criticism more a suggestion - a map showing clearly the walks from the hotel would be a nice touch eg. the walk into Cochem is not that well sign-posted or obvious.
Review 19:The hotel is set in a beautiful wooded valley 400m off the 'main road', the setting is quiet and convenient for some nearby walks (especially the walk up the valley beside the stream). We left our car in the hotel car park and walked through woods into Cochem (30mins) the walk not being too strenuous . The staff are friendly and helpful and English is spoken (a lot better than our German). The food (meat and fish) and wine are excellent and good value. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel for a short break and have been would not hesitate staying again.
Review 20:This hotel is in a lovely quiet location above the town of Cochem. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant is excellent and we had a fantastic meal there on our first night. We discovered that the hotel has an amazing bar, which was a bit of a hidden gem down in the basement and was rather quiet on the night we were there, but people should use it more - it's really unusual and quite unexpected in such a traditional style hotel.
Review 21:The quality of the breakfast was below german average. Bread was didnt taste very fresh.
