Review 1：the location was further out of the village than I thought

Review 4：Wifi was super weak. I ended up sitting in the outside area near he lobby. But the staff were great and brought me a blanket. It was strong enough just to do the basics and send an email though from the room. Food very expensive but you could see the class

Review 17：The view from inside is very good but the hotel itself is a bit of a concrete eyesore high above the lake, for anyone outside. (And it's a bit of a walk up the road or up sets of stairs from the ferry.) The one restaurant mis-step, the rösti (chewy semi-health food, not crisp outside, melting inside, and indulgent).

Review 18：Great staff! Given the heat, nice to be able to roll down the sunshade and the security shade on the balcony, and keep the balcony door and windows open. Pretty view! Good restaurant--we hiked like mad, and ate commensurately. Did I say great staff? Except, wish we'd known about the Tell Pass before we started buying boat and train and funicular tickets individually--maybe they should suggest it to guests, in advance! Convenient to every stop on the lake by boat, and by bus etc. to many other points in central CH.

Review 19：Wifi worked only 60-70 % of the time. Rooms are too basic and not very pretty. If you arrive with the boat, it is 15 minutes walk a little bit uphill. Noisy in the room beacuse of noise from restaurant terrace outside the balcony. Noisy in the pool. area. A lot of wasps coming from somewhere and distrurbing sitting on the balcony. There were so many wasps during berakfast that I could not enjoy the lovely terrace with lake view and had to eat inside. Not the hotel's fault though - just for information for those wasp-sensitive people.

Review 20：Easy to come to with a bus. Just 2 minutes from busstop and Migros. Patric was kind and found a room for me, despite the fact that I arrived at 13:00 and the check-in time is from 16:00. Good pool (medium sized) but almost always noisy becase of many children there. Good wifi when it works. Nice balcony with beautiful view. Good breakfast (as expected for 3 star hotel). Nice staff.

Review 21：We didn't like that the room had no aircon and apparently there are only 3 fans for the whole hotel. We were quite warm on our 1st night but then fortunately the temperature cooled down and we were fine with an open door. There was a wedding one evening that we were there and the party was quite noisy, we had decided on an early night but were woken up with very loud 'cow bell' ringing. It wasn't very late though and I think it's a tradition, still it would have been nice to be warned somehow.

Review 27：Lack of info re evening meal. It's a set menu - price is Swiss but ok for the area. we were'nt however told that was the case as we entered or until we'd been sitting for a while . Given there is no written menu at all or pricing evident or wine list even we were a bit stressed, even in those incomparable surroundings, sitting through the 5 course meal (which though elaborate was all delicious) not knowing what bill to expect. Small choice of wine but they helpful gave us generous tasters to help us choose. A sheet of paper with menu written down & with choice of wine & prices much better policy we thought.

Review 30：The staff is so kind and friendly! We were late for check and couldn't find our way there after getting off the bus. But the receptionist was so kind that he came out to wait for us! It was 23:00 already!! And the view of the room is perfect!!

Review 35：Due to low affluence on Easter holiday (?!), we were told that breakfast would be served in our bedroom and we had to choose from a list which and how many units of food items we would like to have (!!!); room service as you would imagine? Not really, they left instead a Migros supermarket bag at our door, so we had to prepare it ourselves and on the 2nd day they had even forgotten to leave it, so we had to call them...oh, right, to talk to the receptionist you had to pick up a phone and wait as the reception did not have someone at fulltime...therefore we were invited to pay ahead at check-in...also on the 2nd day room cleaning was not performed until 15h00, so we call them asking...a lady showed up but did not really clean anything; just asked us to give her the towels to be replaced as well as the dirty dishes from the breakfast!!! On the last day, cleaning ladies rang our bell at 09h00 though check-out was till 11h00...They don't have a clue about what good customer service is...no wonder that the affluence is that low...

Review 37：bed is not comfortable. Room is not renovated after some old people lived and probably died there. You can see wall holes left after some pictures. The special handrails in bathroom remind that as well. There is no air conditioning system.etc very poor conditions in general. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone. And i am surprised that there are so many positives feedbacks. Anyway stay away from it

Review 39：Alpenblick is located in a quite Village of Weggies, a perfect place for holiday makers wit great natural views, lush green high mountains and romantic lake Lucern.

Review 42：The concierge wasn't always manned. Weggis is a very small and nice village, the hotel construction is a very large one and jars a little bit with the environment.
