Review 1：We had a problem with cleanliness with our first room but the manager gladly switched our room for us. This place could be much better with a solid dusting, a fresh coat of paint, and new linens.

Review 5：It was so cold and there was no way to turn up the heat . We went to Walmart and bought hand warmers to keep warm in bed. Also there was no coffee pot in room which would have been nice.
Review 6：The motel was the most inexpensive in the area. Staff was pleasant. Room was older but nicely decorated. Homey family restaurant next door was excellent.
Review 7：Well... How about the stench that started at reception and then when we opened the door to our room. Mold in bathroom, left over food in microwave, cob webs, built up dust. dirt and sticks on floor, toilet quit at one point. plastic sucking in & out while TRYING to sleep..not enough room to express our disgust.
Review 8：no phone service, no wake up call, filthy, noisy, poor lighting, awful bed & disgusting bedding..badly stained pillows are the original ones from when it first opened, built in the 70's and never updated, nor cleaned!

Review 11：Microwave and fridge in room. Bathroom and shower stall clean Room was dark but had several light fixtures. Several blankets and heavy quilt on bed. No sign of insects dead or alive.
Review 12：WiFi dropped a few times in the evening and was not available in the morning; no coffee machine; the bathroom equipment is from the 1950es and the lever that closes the bathtub hole (but NOTHING else) was rusty. Only two double bed roooms - can be an advantage for some, but we'd rather have something bigger.
Review 13：The rooms were big and well ventilated; their room could easily suit four visitors. The prices were very reasonable for add-ons as well. Generally, it was clean and not too noisy. Staff was helpful. The furniture was up-to-date, and, generally, all the hickups are standard in this price range.
Review 14：The place is NOT CLEAN. I'm not a fancy traveler, and I don't mind staying at a motel that needs some TLC, but I have a hard time with hotels that don't look like they're cleaned on a daily basis. It's not an expensive thing to take care of and it makes a big difference. I will likely pay a few bucks more for a days inn if I have to drive through Sarnia again.

Review 16：It really is very dirty and run down. With a little effort and investment it could go from Bates Motel to Best Value. Wish I could buy it and fix it up. Lots of possibilities!

Review 24：This place was soooooo dirty. We moved the bedside table and within an inch of dirt and dust laid a needle tip. We arrived there at 2am so had no choice but to stay. The bathroom floor around the toilet looked like it's never been clean. We actually laid the blankets on the floor so we didn't have to walk on the carpet with our bare feet. Do not bring your children here. Not clean at all. I will never stay there again and will never recommend it. BEWARE.

Review 52：The Motel is located next to an excellent steak restaurant that is busy very morning and evening. Good prices and service there is excellent. Motel definitely needs renovations as is very old and bathrooms need major renovations. New bedding is a must but clean.

Review 59：This motel is kept in a very dirty state. The lobby is not clean and the room is absolutely disgusting. I pulled the night stand from the wall and found garbage. I had to ask to have the heat turned on. I understand that this is an older motel but keeping it clean costs very little and that is not being done. I strongly recommend that you ask to see the room before you pay as you have to pay up front! Note that this motel also has long term renters in it and is rather noisy. What you see in the pictures on this site is not what you will see when you get there.

Review 68：The room were so dirty. It is nothing like I have ever seen before. The layers of grime and dust were so thick. The bath tub was not washed from the previous person use or for a long time. You could still see the ring. It was absolutely gross. I could also smell someone else's odour on the pillow. They probably did not change the sheets. I am surprised health inspectors have not condemned the place until they clean it up - this is not asking muck. Just something basic. Again I have never see this level of filth in a hotel.

Microwave and fridge dirty. Bath had been painted and not replaced.

Review 80：The hotel was not clean. It is run down. The hotel caters to clients who have no respect for the other clients who which peace and quiet. There was so much carrying on at all hours of the night that it was impossible to sleep. This is a very poor managed hotel.
