Reviews for Loi Suites Iguazu Hotel
Review 1:The food was average. Breakfast was disappointing when compared to Asia Pacific standards. Lunch meals were very average, as was the service at lunch.
Review 2:Excellent room. Fantastic bathroom and shower. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and concierge were very experienced.
Review 3:The food could definitely be better overall but at least the restaurant (open at night) is better than the bar by the pool (only food served during the day).
Review 4:We ended up staying here several days longer than initially planned and it was such a relaxing experience. The pools are wonderful, always plenty of space and most of the staff were truly lovely. The location and being surrounded by nature is also fantastic.
Review 5:Some of the wood furniture looked a bit worn.
Review 6:Beautiful hotel at the edge of the jungle. Grounds were spectacular. Pool area was large and spacious. Many places to relax in both shade and sun. The shower in the room was wonderful! Hotel restaurant served an excellent included breakfast. Dinner was also quite good and reasonably priced. I wish I had the time to use the spa and get a massage!
Review 7:We reported the lock on our balcony door as broken and nothing was done to fix it
Review 8:The pool was fabulous, the room was amazing, the restaurant and tiki bar were very nice and reasonably priced
Review 9:Checking in too long and understaffed. A bit remote area so take that into account if wanting to go to downtown. They are not really ready to support someone without his own travel arrangements (at least it was my experience). So close your transportations before you arrive. Should make arrangements for swimmers as there is a lot of water surface the hotel should be a designating an area that suits swimmers.
Review 10:Overall facility is beautiful with great atmosphere and grounds Good wifi Very nice swimming pools beautifully positioned (though a bit dirty especially at the end of the day) Good (and pricey) food.
Review 11:Service and quality of food at pool bar sometimes a bit lacking. Spa prices extortionate.
Review 12:Amazing location and fantastic rooms, pools and facilities. Relaxing and peaceful. Good quality wifi everywhere. Reasonably priced taxi services everywhere.
Review 13:The restaurant staff would not serve us one of the nights in therestaurant. We're not sure why, but they avoided out table afterhanding us a menu. There isn't food nearby, so we had no otheroption but to go to bed hungry. We waited for at our table for an hourand a half without any communication before leaving.
Review 14:The value for weekdays was beyond belief. We were pleasantly surprisedby the quality of the room and the grounds of the hotel. Very cool, lotsof fun, and very clean. Breakfast was also good, with a lot of options.
Review 15:Poor service in the restaurant (it is clear the staff don't understand what diners paying those prices would expect). Nothing approaching mood lighting in the restaurant, lots of very bright canteen style lights at odds with the rest of the hotel. Also, given that power cuts are common in storms (in one meal, we had 3, each lasting several minutes), they should at least put candles on each table so diners can keep eating (they have these in other areas of the hotel) Wifi very haphazard in rooms (but fine in main building).
Review 16:Villa was great and very private. Hotel sympathetically blended into the surrounding jungle (as much as it could be for a hotel). Didn't have the feel of a big hotel complex (I usually hate big hotels, especially complexes). Reception staff lovely. Taxis arrived promptly with decent drivers. Massage in spa was great. Nice bar and pool area for chilling out. Food in the bar and restaurant was decent enough - not amazing, but good enough that we didn't feel the need to get a taxi into town for dinner. Iguazu is a very touristy experience, so to enjoy it, you need to embrace that fact. If you keep that in mind, this hotel is a really great place to base yourself.
Review 17:Restaurant's service
Review 18:Excellent facilities with really nice pools, terraces, lobby, and very clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Very good breakfast!
Review 19:No atm machine to access cash Miles away from falls so expensive taxi ride Dirty swimming pools and sunbeds Food not great Not 5 star hotel Restriction to only 2 wifi devices
Review 20:The bedroom was lovely looking out onto jungle Good breakfast Attractive setting
Review 21:The cleanliness wasn't great. Water in the toilet bowls looked muddy. The pools on the left and right side need better cleaning and temperature control.
Review 22:Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Good food.Located in the middle of the jungle. Gorgeous pool
Review 23:The location was a little off the beaten track but an interesting place to stay. You really were in the jungle.. and after BA it was lovely and quiet. The hotel has a nice style to it and the rooms were excellent with plenty of room and a clean, modern bathroom. The spa had a Thai feel to it, the massage was very pleasant and the spa rooms were atmospheric. The hotel had a lot of facilities for a place that is so remote to the rest of Argentina. I would certainly recommend it.
Review 24:Quality of stone walkways -- difficult to negotiate in any thing other than hiking shoes. Intrusive hsbc signs on property
Review 25:Common spaces very nice/inviting
Review 26:Lift maintenance could be improved- we got stuck in one! Food hygiene suspect as we both were unwell on different evenings.
Review 27:Fabulous design in a jungle setting. Wobbly walkways are quirky & fun! The staff are attentive & helpful.
Review 28:As everyone mentioned before I have to agree that food is not good.if you stay for long time get ready to go to center to eat. We had in the bar pizza and some salad. Pizza toppings was good but base was really really bad. Salad topping was horrible. Next we went to restaurant. Soup vegetable was amazing. Steak as well. But cesar salad chicken was so hard you can use it as a hammer to nail. DO NOT ORDER COCKTAILS DURING DAY. Young guy working there through day and he have absolutely no clue how to do them, but still doing them. In the evening is fine, different recipies but tasty. Oh, and the breakfast glasses next orange juice were dirty. A lot of them.
Review 29:Amazing location just on the river in the middle of the jungle. We have seen racoons couple of times. Pure wild nature. At the same time hotel.is really modern, with amazing design and lot of facilities. Beautiful pool, really good massage treatments, loads of jungle passes, direct access to iguasu river, open air bar. And much more. Panacote was delicious.
Review 30:The dinners were not the best part of the experience. The wait staff was nice and respectful, however some of the dinner meals lacked quality. Breakfast was the exception, it was well worth it
Review 31:The atmosphere. Everywhere you look is beautiful
Review 32:Lot of inconvenient things. No ATM, no money exchange facility, poor wifi and expensive taxi service...felt i was being robbed each taxi i took!
Review 33:Nice setting, nice pool but a bit souless
Review 34:You need a taxi to get out of this hotel that is located in the jungles. When they call you a taxi it costs an unreasonably high amount of money (270 pesos) for a 20 min drive to the airport, and the taxi driver of course does not have a change! The hotel would better have its own transfer.
Review 35:In general I like most of it
Review 36:non
Review 37:relax! like Asian resort , quiet, bath room spacious, the water was little bit brown in bathtab, like Japanese ONSEN(natural spa) , i liked that,ha ha could use pool&shower after check out, thank you
Review 38:Service can be a little slow in the bar Breakfast could be improved
Review 39:Beautiful setting, great pools, rooms are a fantastic size. Short cab ride to town and waterfalls.
Review 40:The staff need more training, and the breakfast can be better too. Also the deck close to the river is not working, it would be awesome to go to the waterfalls of Iguaçu directly from the Hotel...
Review 41:The outdoor middle heated pool is just outstanding. The surrounding are also unique too. Room design and balcony, the reception entrance and layout, the hotel building surroundings, amazing wooden bridges that connect the entire hotel..
Review 42:We went to the hotel without having a reservation, but we had previouslychecked that the hotel had rooms availability for our dates. Once werequested a room to the recepcionist, the price we were offered wasthree times the price that Booking.com was advertising. We made thereservation right away with the smartphone and we got a reasonable pricefor a junior suite. After making the online reservation everything wentfine. The hotel is quite isolated in the jungle -Iguazú's citycenter is 20 minutes away in taxi- and therefore sports a nicerestaurant inside. Food was great -one of the nicest "bife dechorizo" I've ever had- but the service did not match up with a5 stars hotel's restaurant. They changed our server three times asnew people was coming into the restaurant, and finally our desserts camemore than 25 minutes after being ordered. Instead of providing us withan explanation, when the manager himself brought our desserts, he lookedat us like that it was the most normal thing to happen -how did we evendare to ask for the reason of the delay?. After we told him that it was*not* normal, he acknowledged that one of our desserts was given toanother table by one of our servers -of course, how could the serverknow which tables were his?- And the delay was caused because they hadto start over with the dessert after we asked them to bring them to usafter realizing they were not coming. Definitely, a lack of class actfor a 5 stars hotel's restaurant's manager. As a compensation,he offered us a coffee or tea for free -lol.
Review 43:The hotel is an oasis in the middle of the jungle, having access to theriver and with an spectacular pool. Our suite was quite comfortable andspacious. Bathroom equipment was very good and clean. The hotel allowsto keep using their facilities after the check-out, so you can stay atthe pool having some drinks while making time to get to the airport foryour flight back. Breakfast is very good, with plenty of options.
Review 44:We took the villa who had a jacuzzi outside. It was very quiet and the villa was beautiful. We were in the jungle so we had a lot of insects. The only negative point. We loved going to the rio iguazu from the swimming pool.
Review 45:Outrageous SPA prices; things like the sauna should be included at this level of hotel instad of costing USD 20 per hour.
Review 46:Beautiful place, great rooms and helpful staff. The restaurant is good, albeit not exceptional.
Review 47:Service was a bit slow at dinner. Maybe worth getting a room with a balcony.
Review 48:Located in the jungle, peaceful setting. Lovely pools, even in winter we swam in them. Bar area very comfortable and relaxed.
Review 49:The Hotel is just beautiful, service is great. The SPA is wonderful!! It was a great stay. I truely recommend it. If you have the time, take some time just to enjoy the Hotel and the sorroundings
Review 50:Beautiful hotel in the jungle! The pool is so beautiful surrounded by trees. Great breakfast buffet and loved the atmosphere of the Tiki Bar. We had fabulous massages two days in a row. The staff wax very friendly .
Review 51:We loved the jungle coming right to the pool edge and being able to see the jungle from our room. Also it catered for our adult son in a wheelchair. Staff and facilities were the best.
Review 52:Be careful, the price which is showed at the booking.com homepage is without 21% tax! Parts of the veranda were under construction at the moment, which can be pretty noisy (it wasn't said at the homepage)! The hotels restaurant isn't very tasty. Compared to international standard it's more a good four star hotel than five. Tip: Because of the hotel's location taxi costs (to the National Park or the Airport for example) can be high. It's probably better to take a rental car!
Review 53:It's a quiet and very relaxing location, a remote hideaway. The rooms and the whole hotel complex are huge, nice and luxury. The stuff is very friendly and speaks English properly. There is a very tasty breakfast buffet.
Review 54:Nada
Review 55:Todos. - Amabilidad del stuff - Diseño general del hotel - Limpieza de la habitación - Tiki bar - Vista de la habitación al bosque - Piscina y sunbath y mucho mucho más
Review 56:This was a perfect haven during our trip to Iguazu. Lovely jungle setting. Staff were helpful, warm and friendly. Breakfast was well done, ate lunch at Tiki bar which was just ok. Highlight was a spa experience after a long walking day at the falls. My husband and I purchased a 50-minute water therapy session followed by massage. The water (jacuzzi, steam room, cool pool, was unexpectedly amazing, and we both agreed that the massage was the BEST we had ever experienced. My therapist was named Marlena. She was truly amazing.
Review 57:Appalling value for money at the price we paid. Now heavily discounted as the property does not meet international 5* standards. Breakfast very poor. Booking.com indicated a balcony room would be provided if available. Hotel made limited attempt to provide. We ended up in a basement room.
Review 58:Location and gardens. Although the river access platform has been swept away.
Review 59:Nothing.
Review 60:Great rooms. Spacious and clean. Resort well integrated in the tropical forest with suspended bridges. Big pools. Nice restaurant with excellent meat. Location convenient to visit both falls.
Review 61:Stayed for 2 nights only on our way to Mendoza. Didn't like having to leave.
Review 62:With all the suspension bridges linking the accommodation to the main service area it felt like the setting for "I am a celebrity" but you don't want to get out of there.
Review 63:Because it's in the humid jungle, there is a musty smell in the rooms. We were lucky enough to change rooms and it was better than the one we had on a lower floor but it's just something to note that is a part of the surroundings. Also be mindful of some critters but that is typical of that setting as well.
Review 64:The staff, food and amenities were all very nice.
Review 65:eating here was very expensive
Review 66:the location was good, in the woods, next to the river. the restaurants are excellent, and the staff very kind and polite.
Review 67:The Dark ground floor room and bad service when we asked for a reservation at a local restaurant. 3 hours later, when we were dressed and expecting a taxi to come and collect us, reception rang to say that there wasn't a table available! Did it actually take three hours to find this out? The staff we encountered at other times seemed a bit indifferent.
Review 68:Very well positioned and themed hotel.
Review 69:The only part we didn't like was the service Most couldn't speak English The front desk was great but the servers didn't speak English..
Review 70:I love the design built into the rain forest! We saw monkeys from our patio We really enjoyed the jacuzzi on patio in rain! The morning buffet was great!
Review 71:Unless you came with a car (which we didn't) you are entirely dependent on resort's facilities (food and transportation) and although taxis arranged from the resort were reasonably priced it could have been better if the hotel offered some kind of shuttle transport (at least to the nearby city "Puerto Iguazu" in case you wish to dine outside of the hotel restaurant)
Review 72:Beautiful resort, exotic jungle like atmosphere, amazing pool, hanging bridges between floors, friendly staff, nice clean rooms with green view of the forest, quiet place, very good and versatile breakfast buffet, Highly recommended
Review 73:The food (dinner) in the restaurant was of varying quality.
Review 74:Beautifully situated in the "jungle" with nice pool area, spa and small fitness room. Nice breakfast buffet!
Review 75:The service at the pool is very poor, beverages are very expensive. The hotel wasn't very efficient at making a dinner reservation, they said the restaurant was booked but the taxi drive managed to make the reservation.
Review 76:Located in a forest, the surroundings and pool are very nice. Good, spacious, comfortable and clean room.
Review 77:Our meal at the restaurant (not the tiki bar), was not great. I ordered fish which was overcooked and dry and my friend ordered meat which was less than flavorful. But since you don't really want to leave the premises, options are limited.
Review 78:We loved every second of our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were amazing if you like being in a beautiful hotel in the middle of the jungle (spectacular). The rooms were clean and modern. The swimming pool was awesome and overall, the hotel has a very romantic feel (but also casual and different!). Highly recommended.
Review 79:Everything was fine, maybe the restaurant was a bit pricey for what it was but this would be the only thing I can spot
Review 80:Beautiful resort in the middle of the forest. Very nice location, nice common areas and nice pool, excellent staff
Review 81:lack of English speaking staff; no bathrobes and slippers, unless you ask for them. not much veggie dishes
Review 82:location in the midle of the jungle; swimming pools and green surroundings, breakfast
Review 83:you have to take a taxi if you want to go to the city center or to other sites.
Review 84:very recommended, we love it! it a nice and beautifull facility in the middle of the jungle ! we really enjoyed.
Review 85:It's not very close to town, but the food options at the pool bar and restaurant were good. The restaurant feels a bit cafeteria like, but the food was fine.
Review 86:The room and pool were awesome. I wish we spent 1 extra night in Iguazu - I would have spent a day the pool.
Review 87:Wish we'd been told about hanging bridges connecting various parts of the hotel that move when you walk. One of our party was uncomfortable with those.
Review 88:Asian feel of lobby and furnishings, very good breakfast.
Review 89:The pool area was crowded and they allowed people to put things on lounge chairs and then leave for a long time.
Review 90:The rooms and the facilities were beautiful! Because of the remote location, it wasn't easy to go anywhere else to eat, but the food was very good and reasonably priced. The pool was beautiful, and the area was the highlight of our trip to Argentina. Highly recommended!
Review 91:But the pool area was so crowded that you could not get towels, chairs, and forget about a drink or food.
Review 92:The grounds are as pretty as they look, rooms are large and comfortable.
Review 93:no tea and coffee facility in rooms little information on local tourist attractions in room or via reception poor reception on tv
Review 94:excellent breakfast spotlessly clean lovely poolside towels setting amazing
Review 95:It was near the end of a bumpy road and quite a ways from the falls. Taxi was only way to get there. It would be helpful if resort offered a shuttle. Even twice a day would be good rather than all these taxis. Taxi drivers hired by hotel courteous and honest.
Review 96:Great place to stay if visiting the Iguassu Falls or just vacationing. Excellent food. Drinks have free pour so lots of alcohol. Be mindful if driving. Set in jungle with infinity pool. Just beautiful
Review 97:The fact that the very nice wooden teleferique leading to the river Iguazu was out of operation making almost impossible for the guests to go by the river!
Review 98:The location but also the concept of the hotel very well adapted to the nature with a lot of wooden constructions and footbridges connecting the various buildings!
Review 99:Breakfast should be served earlier. Since everybody is leaving to visit the falls early in the morning, there is a chaos at the buffet.
Review 100:Pools, room size, cleaniness, wifi
Review 101:amazing, beautifully designed lodge amongst the jungle. Wonderfully new and clean, luxurious rooms with great facilities including the restaurant and pool.
Review 102:Staff were very strict, almost stalking about following the rules. We stepped in the pool 5 minutes after close and were strictly treated. We grabbed a sandwich from the breakfast buffet to run to the bus and were stopped.
Review 103:Unbelievable view, location, and room.
Review 104:The restaurant service and food can be little bit improve
Review 105:The swimming pool is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and got a nice view of the forest, I loved the massage in the spa during a raining day
Review 106:The food in the restaurant was poor quality. Plus the vegetarian options were limited - the 'curry' pancakes lacked any taste of curry!
Review 107:Beautiful Peaceful Surroundings.
Review 108:The pool is dreamy and the staff really friendly. They can get you everything from a massage to a taxi to dinner reservations, which is a nice convenience after planning several legs of a long trip.
Review 109:No towel racks or hooks. Number of devices on WiFi were limited. Restaurant expensive and service was slow.
Review 110:Pools...illusion that one is swimming in the jungle. Beautiful resort. Beautiful bathroom. Best shower!
Review 111:NO HUBO COSAS QUE NO ME GUSTARON ,QUIZA LOS PRECIOS DE LAS BOTELLAS DE AGUA MINERAL EN CATARATAS .ES ROBARNOS ENTRE NOSOTROS!!!!!!

Review 113:The reception was not very helpful with bringing information about possible tours to Iguazu falls, to find information about bus schedules and not really helpful/service minded. That said, this is not a big deal, this is a great resort to stay at
Review 114:Everything was excellent as outlined in the headline except for the reception
Review 115:The peaceful serenity of sleeping in the forest without any of the 'nasties'. Suite was large and very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, food was great and despite being a long way from any town, taxis could be booked and arrived within 5-10 minutes.
Review 116:We loved this hotel and everything about it. It was a treat as we are on honeymoon. The pool is even cooler than the photos. The restaurant was excellent and very reasonable considering the hotel. Would have loved to stay longer.
Review 117:The view out the windows is very closed in. Even though it is very close to the river, you would never know it, the vegetation is so dense.
Review 118:Breakfast, spaciousness of the room, air conditioning, the pool
Review 119:Swimming pool could be noisy with children. Very difficult to get a table outside for dinner ( with such a beautiful climat ) The restaurant looks like a massive corporate dinning room with bright lights. No money exchange facilities at the front desk. The gym equipment could be improved. Breakfast average.
Review 120:Swimming pool and gardens. Our suites had a nice view on the forest.
Review 121:wifi limited to two devices, breakfast was disappointing
Review 122:Size and quality of the room, swimming pool area, location of the hotel, rooms facing the forest
Review 123:The hotel is absolutely not a 5 Star one and not because of the location, or of the way that it looks, but because of the service. Besides the reception desk nobody speaks english, NOBODY. The restaurant food is maximum fair, the gym is more like an apartment gym The ceiling of our room was from a some kind of fabric and on top of it I guess it was fileed with bugs because we heard a lot of strange noises, but only during the night. Also, at 11:45 p.m. nobody from the hotel could open a bottle of wine. The bar and restaurant was closing at 11:30, and nobody knew where they put the bottle opener :) So, as a conclusion, outside looks 5, but it's a fairly 3+ for 300 eur / night
Review 124:The hotel is nice located in the rain forest, 10 min by taxi from the city, but there's not much to do there. It looks beautiful, we had a premiere room, around 300 Eur / night
Review 125:Wifi was okay, but I kept getting knocked off and having to log in again. I believe only 2 devices per room are allowed to have wifi, but I was in a triple and we each had a device.
Review 126:Really nice setting in the woods; tranquil and quiet. Short drive to the Iguazu Falls and to the main street for restaurants, etc. Friendly staff.
Review 127:Overall: it's not a 5*!!! Not, not and million times more not! Maximum is 3* according to service level. - Bad service. During 3 days the room were never cleaned in the evening. - Service in pool area: officialy bar is opened from 11am (I don't know why, but ok). For couple of days they missed even this time. When we ask to prepare drinks at 11:15 staff answered that bar is still closed. Why???? - Restaurant. It's awful. Quality of food and service level looks like cheap street cantine "soviet style". I can forgive service, but it was a real torture to has a lunch or dinner or breakfast in this "restaurant". Very slow wi-fi. Never again.
Review 128:Nature External design Spacious room (suite)
Review 129:they showed 3 different bills to me. the first was around 22.000 pesos, and after long discussion we paid around 16.000 pesos, still more than the staff had told me they will charge. This happened only after we said it was not right and calling the manager. Even though, they charged it at a different exchange rate with no explanations.
Review 130:excellent pools and a good spa. rooms are OK. staff try to solve any disconfort you may have.
Review 131:Designed for large noisy groups. Often very noisy - lots and lots of children - pool was a zoo. Filled with dozens and dozens of very self-assured straight couples holding hands and petting in public while getting drunk Young man manning bar rarely present and when he was he was extremely arrogant and rude otherwise very polite and helpful staff Far from town and one is stuck there and has to rely on taxis to get around
Review 132:Beautiful setting
Review 133:The total bill was much higher than we can calculate. If it is for exceptionally high tips, the staff surely was deserving.
Review 134:Tropical setting. Our room in the midst of tropical flowers and birds. Beautiful grounds, pool, and open air restaurant.
Review 135:Jungle setting with all the comforts associated with a city hotel. Ten minute taxi ride into town. Park was fifteen minutes away by taxi. Breakfast buffet and dinner was very good. The three beautiful pools blended nicely into the jungle setting.
Review 136:The sockets are not for European electrical devices and there is not enough number of adaptors.
Review 137:Excellent tropical rain forest environment. Beautiful architecture.
Review 138:The staff wasn"t very accomodating getting us settled into a room. We had been traveling for two days and had been awake since 11 pm the night before arriving at 9 am.. After asking numerous times for a room, we were given a room in the early afternoon. I have stayed at luxury hotels and every effort is made to assist and make us comfortable. This was not the case. The food in the Tiki bar was mediocre.
Review 139:The location was in a natural heavily treed with birds and butterflies abound. It was also free of road noise. We loved the venue.
The Fine Print
