Review 1：I was travelling with my elderly father and I had booked a room for each, which turned out to have a single bed and no view of the Mosel. Unfortunately, none of the pictures on the site showed any single room picture and my father was very disappointed by his room. In other hotels in The Netherlands and Germany we have stayed in rooms with a double bed for the same money. My room was completely at the rear of the hotel and the wi-fi was not great. It worked in the dining hall.

Review 2：Excellent welcome by the staff. Very clean hotel and excellent service at breakfast with a great buffet. Parking across the street was convenient. Location close to town, up on the hill.

Review 35：Very comfortable, very clean, proximity to the city. Beautiful location on a hill overlooking the Mosel river. Quiet location but close to the city. We had a car but it is also a short and scenic walk to the city from the hotel. We would definitely come back.

Review 37：It is perfect option for those who has a car or willing to pay for taxi. For example to get to the train station cost only 5-6 euro! You also could rent a bike.

Spotless rooms, comfortable beds with big pillows and the silk bedlinens! Traditional german food is served for dinner and the breakfast is very very impressive. Cozy restaurant with terrace where you could relax in the evenings with glass of wine, the waitresses in traditional german dress, tasty food, great service,clean and fashionable rooms... All these create the whole picture of really german environment!

Review 39：The staff were very friendly and extremely attentive. The food wasexcellent. All staff spoke almost fluent to quite good English, also Icould hear some speaking with Dutch guests in Dutch. The location wasvery good, far enough from the hustle and noise of the centre and highenough for nice views of the Mosel river, vineyards, town and castle. A10 minute walk to town.

Review 40：The only thing we did not like about this hotel was that we had to gohome after only four days.A very minor comment - the range of leaflets giving information on the area was somewhat limited.

It is the perfect place to unwind,enjoy memorable views of Cochem and the Mosel, and be treated in such afriendly and welcoming manner by the hotel staff. These people know theart of caring for their guests, and they do it extremely well. Rooms,food, service, location - all excellent!

Can easily make day trips on the Mossel and the Rhine, tothe Roman sites in Trier, and to Koblenz. Reasonably priced. I wouldreturn tomorrow!
