Reviews for Hostellerie Le Petit Manoir
Review 1:We wanted to get some snacks and stay in the room, but it was not possible on Saturday - we had to go to the city to buy something. The station is not far away, but still..
Review 2:Room was huge and bright. Breakfast was very, very good and the garden is charming.
Review 3:Breakfast was CHF 25 per person for a buffet. Even though the breakfast was beautifully presented that price is steep even by Swiss standards.
Review 4:Location is easy to find. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Review 5:The reception area is not very inviting. It is a bit bland and gives the impression of not being finished. It does not give the best impression as you walk in.
Review 6:The room was very comfortable with a really good bed.
Review 7:Room was a bit warm with windows closed, but noisy with them open. Would have liked self-serve coffee in the room.
Review 8:Beautiful decor and windows opened.
Review 9:The staff are courteous and helpful. The location is splendid. The proximity to the lake and park was much appreciated. Help with day trips and bookings also appreciated.
Review 10:A big humidity in the new building due to the Spa at the underground, could be uncomfortable. Althought on the Booking it is said that the room has a"queen bed" we had two single beds next to each other. Very annoying. At the begining nothing was possible neither late check-out, neither restaurant reservation, but at the end staff managed to solve all issues the positive way. The breakfast room and the restaurant are in the old building - you have to put your coat on.
Review 11:Nice large room in the new building with the view over the garden. Everything very clean. Very comfortable beds. Not easy to get the table at the restaurant, but it's worth to make the reservation in advance. Great food, but quite expensive.
Review 12:Nothing

Review 14:the restaurant was a disappointment...a one star Michelin which tries too hard to be different...shame, the location is beautiful!
Review 15:I liked the spaciousness and decoration of the room, the trees surrounding it...very nice bed unfortunately they could not make the two mattresses into one...

Review 60:If only there had been a tea & coffee tray in the room. It's awful having to wait until 7.30/8am for breakfast and no early morning cuppa. Also, breakfast was very expensive though varied and good, even though chef on holiday!
