Review 1：Concierge extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating when I arrived later than expected. I wasn't sure what to expect as such a great value and I was very impressed! I will definitely stay again on my next visit.

Review 8：Arbutus Grove Motel is so great! I've had some less than savory motel experiences of late and so I was so happy to be in a really nice motel once again. I was immediately struck by how clean the room felt, along with everything in it. I felt very comfortable in there. There were two beds in the basic room we had, which was perfect for my Dad and I. Everything about the room and being able to park right outside the door was great. Once inside the room I just kept saying "wow, this is such a nice motel!". As mentioned by other reviewers, there's a bit of road noise, but it's more distant than right up close (i always use my white-noise app anyway, so all I was just listening to the sound of falling rain... ha). The woman who works (owns?) Arbutus Grove Motel was very welcoming, helpful and nice. I recommend this motel to anyone, it's a great little place. It's also handy that it's one of the first motels on the highway coming from the ferry.

Review 13：This is my fifth stay here - it's clean, friendly, lots of extra pillows/blankets, and despite it being right on the highway (not the busiest in the evening) I always have a wonderful and restful stay here. Every room has a little fridge for food and beverage storage too, which is a big plus.
Review 14：I have stayed at Arbutus Grove once before with my daughter and infant twins. The accommodations at that time were excellent. I was thrilled to find on this visit that nothing had changed. I was welcomed to check in early to accommodate that day's schedule. When we arrived in the evening everything was prepared, super clean and inviting. Although we were leaving promptly to join friends the next morning, it was very nice to hear that we could have extended our check-out time. Probably one of the most important things about this motel is that I felt perfectly safe here. Thanks and you will be seeing us again.
Review 15：I believe a dusting needs to be done after each guest's stay; in the bathroom this last stay, a large spider was discovered in the bathroom, in the corner of the towel rack nearest the bathroom mirror; I have stayed in this motel numerous times and have noticed doors being left open while cleaning takes place - this then allows for bugs to enter the rooms.

Review 20：The location was great considering it was close to Nanoose; the quiet nature of the room considering the motel is next to the highway was amazing; and the basic amenities great for a standard room with two beds, microwave, bar fridge, coffee maker, wi-fi, and flat-screen tv. We arrived after 8:pm and it was nice that the office was still open that late.

Review 22：Large room and you can drive up to the door. It was quiet at night and the bed was comfy. You get a receipt at check in so you just put the ley in a slot in the morning to check out. room had a fridge and microwave and coffee machine.

The room was directly accessible from the parking lot. The motel is on the edge of town and so close to restaurants and shopping, but not a lot of traffic. It's also quite near the beach.
