Review 1：There was no toothpaste provided and the curtains kept falling off the rail on in room 301. The facilities were basic as there wasn't a gym etc (although that wasn't a major concern for us), the design of the rooms were old fashioned and the carpet was slightly worn out. Also, there was a slight, unpleasant smell of fish in our room, but it went away when we opened the windows.
Review 2：The hotel had a cottage feel which we liked. The beds were comfortable, the location was good as it was not far from the city, the staff were very friendly, it was cheap and the breakfast was very delicious, there was a huge variety of different things to eat in the morning in the breakfast dining room and the hotel was very clean.

Review 5：It was not warm in the room. Every day a housekeeper probably exclude the heating in the room. The rooms are narrow.

Review 8：We stayed 8nights at this hotel for a business trip. Staff were so nice and everything was perfect. It takes just 10 minutes walk from the tram station and easy to reach to main Cologne city. Breakfast was good enough.

Review 11：The hotel looks and feels like end-70s, and did not undergo a major renovation since then. Bathroom had a strange smell. Wi-fi connection not very strong. Receptionist refused to move us to a different room when we complained about road noise in our room. I cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
