Review 1：The reception desk was never manned and on arrival we were asked to pay. The bedrooms were situated behind the main building accessed by a dirty corridor and lift. The large bed had an undersized duvet. The towels smelt of smoke and the bed wasn't made up properly on the second day. The general impression was of a failing hotel.

Review 3：WiFi was useless breakfast was acceptable but n I thing to get excited about. Room was quite nice Although it was a very hot day and it was hot in the room through the night. There was no fan and little air movement within the room although I had the windows open.

Review 6：Very helpful and kind staff welcome you, the room is clean, very quiet, comfortable bed and wifi works well in the room. The breakfast was fantastic and the overall value and location of the hotel make by far the best hotel of many that I have stayed in in Schaffhausen.

Review 14：The staff really were excellent, every one of them. The hotel is located right in the centre of Schaffhausen and has access to decent public parking. Sittich is small but well-presented and well-run.

Review 15：The hotel was very clean and neat. It is located very close to the railway station. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. We had a problem with the WiFi and they tried to attend to it immediately. A small hotel, but very well-managed and well-cared-for. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Review 19：We liked everything about our stay there. The management and staff were helpful and friendly. The food in the hotel patio restaurant was so good we had all of our meals there. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Review 40：Felt like we had to enter the tradesmans entrance at the back. Signage for locating was poor. Our room was right above a wine bar in the rear annex so a little noisy. Was disappointed that we were not in the main old building but we did book very last minute.

Review 42：the road until the room was an adventure: a big dark hole, looking like an old hospital (scary)/ on the confirmation from booking.com, the check in was until 21:00 but the owner said (after I called him) that it was until 17:00 on Sunday so nobody was at the reception (the owner was kind enough though to come and take me to my room)/ they are keeping evidence on a notebook, written with pencil (no wonder that two friends of mine almost remained without a room because they couldn't find a free one in their handwritten evidence)/ they had no adapters for my type of charger (which most hotels have) and I had no possibility to charge my laptop or my phone/ the shower "cabin" was a hole in the wall, if you were a claustorfobic you would've panicked

Review 51：It is advertised as a hotel in historic building on the main square. In reality, they took us through the labyrinth of the hotel to the other part which is a boring post-war German structure. Our hotel room (No 3) looked more like a fake-Balcan-style, ugly rug, horrible light and small worn-out bathroom. Plus locked closet in the room. Not really creepy, but not recommended.They might have some nicer rooms though.
