Review 1：It was excellent. Just a thought - the nice bed linen was changed every day - what a waste of water in the desert and harm for the environment - guests should be asked like for towels if they want a fresh bed.

Review 20：A minor mistake of a missed wake up call from the front desk led to a bottle of wine in the room, alongside dinner, and even a limo back to the airport at the end of the stay. Its not whether mistakes are made that matters, we are all human - its what the management does about it.. The manager 'Made' is quite simply the most thoughtful and conscientious host any traveller could wish to meet - 11 out of 10..

Review 21：The whole experience with fairmont hotel was bad, from reception to the room allocation.. I didn't stay for the night as the room was extremely smelly and I found used ear buds in plain sight on the floor .. !!!

Review 25：I would describe it as ok expensive for what it was check in was un informative Aftercheck in I spilt some cream on our bathroom floor so took facecloth to clean it up and was disgusted with the state of the cloth in a room that was supposed to be cleaned!!

Review 26：Since it is a 5* hotel, they should improve some little things that ended up being forgotten, i think. The pool restrooms, for instance, the internet is very unstable, the pool bar is not completely open until 11,30AM, but that's all, jus some little improvements!

Review 28：Too crowded with children, especially the Gold Lounge which we didn't expect to have kids running up and down. Our fault for visiting during school holidays. Rain shower had no anti slip flooring which meant straight onto marble tiles,really dangerous, wife slipped and bruised all her arm. Mini bar not stocked up on our arrival took three phone calls to sort out. Houskeeping missed cleaning the room one day, not what you expect for a five star hotel.

Review 34：September and his Staff on level 7 are a credit to the Abu Dhabi Fairmont Hotel, both courteous & professional, and nothing was ever too much bother. Fairmont Gold is the only way to go.

Review 35：1) we were in room 760 - there was a slightly damp smell in the room that was only really noticeable on entry - still off putting. 2) this is our 3rd time staying in the Fairmont gold lounge and we noticed the selection of food had deteriorated some what. The sandwich selection for the 2-4 snacks was poor - not very exciting - previously the platter was elaborate with chicken, tuna etc and a mixture of brown rolls with seeds and white rolls. It was just a brioche bread with vegetables. Slightly disappointing.

Review 39：I had bad experience with Fairmont. When I checked in I waited for my luggage around 40 minutes and it was during the week I called them 3 times after that I spoke with the manager. Second complain was when I called them to set up the room and cleaned it took more than 30 minutes to come and clean it. I really had bad experience and I was upset about it I came to relax but they changed my mood to be in bad mood.

Review 46：Terrible bed - when one person is moving in the night then the other one is moving too, jumping into the ceiling! We didnt sleep well at all. Breakfast was ok but would expect a WOW factor in such a hotel (eggs were not good, filterred coffee yuck). No SPA in 5* hotel! When I phoned them up to book a massage they connected me to a SPA and all was confirmed however when I asked concierge about the location of their SPA in hotel they told me they didnt have any SPA and they book their guests in Shangrila Hotel next door or another low class Massage Centre outside the hotel (and thats where they booked us in actually without informing about it - not professional at all!).

Review 50：No welcome on arrival, had to find the room by ourselves (fine but not usual in a 5*), 30 minutes for bags to arrive, 25 minutes for ice. Only a la carte dining options were celebrity restaurants, ate at Frankies, food was average and service appalling. It was my birthday and no recognition from Front Desk, again unusual in a 5*. One person at Front Desk during midday check out when it is busy, so waited almost 20 minutes. Pool and beach service was fine, but pool is full of people smoking shisha. Rate was very competitive but would not stay for the usual rates.

I was given inaccurate information about the timing and availability of services during Ramadan. I made the booking based on information provided, which turned out to be incorrect. The incredibly friendly and courteous staff coupled with the beautiful and well appointed rooms made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. I checked in around 11PM and was advised that I can check out by 4PM next day. I was shocked second day when they asked me to leave and max check out time is 2PM. If you are not up to this, don't promise your guests so!

Review 124：We as a south asian family felt racial discrimination.when around pool area our kid(3 year old) was being told to be quiet and warn of removing from the pool if he will scream. He was little loud for very brief time. But westren visitors kids were treated with smiles and cheerfully. Review 134：We were disturbed 3 times by staff despite having the "Privacy Please" sign on the door. The soundproofing of rooms is non existent. Sound coming from adjoining room and hallways was unbearable.

Review 135：The services were EXTREMELY slow..took 30 minutes to bring up the luggage and had to call to follow up...I also asked for towels, again had to call after waiting for 15 minutes. For a Fairmont hotel, service should be top notch.
