Review 1：The beds were very uncomfortable and I also asked for room to be made up on second night at front desk and it was not done.

Review 3：#1. We didn't know that breakfast was included; I wish I had been reminded of that. #2. When I phoned I was told that the pool was working and when we arrived there and stayed for 3 days it was not. #3. I can see that upkeep is important to you but the paint fumes were fairly strong outside of our room window.

Review 4：The staff were very helpful and friendly. The front desk clerks and room cleaners were so helpful with directions and extra towels.I felt very comfortable and very safe and since I was travelling alone (husband didn't come with) with my older children that was important to me.

Review 8：The Staff were most accommodating. The price was perfect. The location was ideal. The shuttle bus to Cavendish/back was more than convenient. All in all we will be back. Even let us park our bikes out front under the lights.

Review 11：The restaurant is closed down and so is the pool. There are no other services here except for a clean bed to sleep. Was disappointed in this as an onsite restaurant and pool in the ad helped in our decision to stay here. Their ad should be changed.

Review 13：We had a broken bed, broken dirty coffee maker. We booked online so we had no notice that the pool was closed as well as the attached restaurant. We paid full price even after talking with management. Have a young child who was very disappointed mostly about no pool. Would not recommend this hote.

Review 15：The hotel should not advertise Fitness Centre. It's in a dark vacant basement. Equipment was not fit for home use. Pool was dirty and across the street. Both taps leaked in the bathroom. Bar and Restaurant was closed even though it was adverstised. Parking was not assigned to room especially when you're on main level with a parking spot in front of deck to your room. Weekly renters on either side of the hotel. Absolutely no view. Unless you consider a side of a building. Way over priced for what was "suppose" to be provided.

Review 19：I didn't like the fact it's supposed to be a 3 star hotel and doesn't include a complimentary breakfast and because I left my credit card at home and had to pay cash, I was charged a three hundred dollar deposit plus had to pay for the room up front. Then when checking out I felt like a criminal, because they made me wait for someone to check the room to see if I might have takin something. That's how I felt when leaving. Sleman park hotel is a 4.5 star hotel compared to this place in my opinion.

Review 20：I like the location and the cleanliness of the room.

Review 21：We were told to leave the main hotel with beautiful lights and floors nice clean atmosphere and were told we were staying on one of the side motels. I have a braced leg, there were no elevators nor anyone willing to help get bags up to the second floor. As we were moving in, the lower level was occupied by long term renters. We were eyeballed to the point of discomfort by those living there. They were drinking and smoking in front of their doors and had animals running around on very long leashes. The halls were not lit well and our entire room smelled of cig smoke even though we were told there would be a fee if we were to smoke in the room ( I don<t smoke so that was not going to be a problem). I contacted the desk to let them know about the smell and they suggested we close the window, that would have been fine except for the part where the air conditioner was not working and the room was hot! We checked in with three adults, yet there was only two sets of towels and face cloths. One of the towels had to be used to sop up the water that was leaking from the toilet the whole time we were there. We were told it was from the condensation from the hot showers. There was no fan in the bathroom so there was nothing we could do except mop up the water! The taps were full of what looked to be toothpaste and soap scum from the people before that has stayed. I actually checked out a day early because I could not stay in the room anymore. The pic that is shown when you are booking the room at this hotel is certainly not what the building you stay in looks like.

Review 22：The day we arrived the young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful getting us checked in. The food in the downstairs bar was very good and there was a lot for the price we paid, we were not able to eat in the restaurant as it was closed for a private bus tour dinner, the were also staying in the same hotel as we were!

Review 24：The bedding, outside deck and location. Also had laundry, bar and decent restaurant. Staff were very accommodating upon arrival (August 22/14). However upon checkout, there was different staff. When I mentioned the severely plugged up tub drain (gross), they did not even bat an eye. And the stairs to the bar/laundry have not seen a vacuum for some time.

Review 25：The pool was located in a separate facility and you needed to walk on apublic street to get to it. Our room had one of two beds that was veryuncomfortable - older mattress with springs and not even the same heightas the other bed. The shower was very hard to regulate - when you putthe shower on it went to hot only?? Took several tries to get the rightbalance. We booked three people and ended up with one face cloth, twohand towels, two bath towels - needed to request more. The last morningwe had no warning the water was being shut off -delayed our departuretime. I felt we didn't get good value for what we paid for -it's like some "attention to details" was missing. A bitdisappointing...I've spent less for rooms and received betterquality accommodations. Maybe the newly renovated rooms shown on thewebsite are nicer? I'll research better next time before committingto two nights.

Review 26：The location was within walking distance to some shops and restaurants.People were very friendly. Quiet room even with the tour bus traffic!

Review 30：Staff was exceptional. Our daughter wanted to be on the top floor and they changed our room to the top with a view of the Ocean. Gave us a new, in the box, telescope for our daughter to use. Without asking we were given complimentary certificates for a full breakfast for each morning of our stay. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful which made up for the building not being modern. The location is very central and we would without hesitation stay at the Causeway Bay Hotel again!!!! Thanks to Tammy, Evan, Marshall and all of the other wonderful people who we dealt with during our stay!!

Review 31：Checked in at 3:30 and water was shut off until 8pm! Did not receive any compensation for the inconvenience. Although I'm sure it was an isolated event it left us feeling a little peeved.
