Swiss Budget Alpenhotel sells fast on our site. Täsch's Alpenhotel is located right across from the Matterhorn Terminal (24-h train shuttle to Zermatt) and offers you free parking. Guests can also visit the cocktail bar and use the wellness and fitness facilities which feature a sauna.
All rooms have a bathroom with a shower or bath, and feature free wireless internet access, a TV, coffee and tea making facilities and most of them have a balcony.
The Alpenhotel features a restaurant serving Swiss and Italian specialities. A buffet breakfast is offered every morning.

Review 1：Breakfast is not good. Looks like this hotel has no business, so quiet, and when we were back from Zermatt, nobody in the hotel and all the doors were locked, we can't get into the hotel. We had tried so hard to contact the staff and made two expensive international call, wait outside the hotel for almost Two hours...

Review 4：This is a very nice hotel located conveniently across the street from the train station to Zermatt. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The hotel has a lift and restaurant. Parking is free and convenient. A good value.

Review 6：The breakfast was not up to the mark. Very few items with no turkey or chicken or beef options for Muslim guests. All breakfast items with meat had pork which we were unable to eat. So we had to make do with cereal.

Review 9：The hotel is located across the street from the train station which makes getting to Zermatt quite easy. It's also quite accessible to the many hiking trails in the area.

Review 10：Friendly service, adjacent to rail station. Parking made available on first day prior to check in which was helpful. The room was reasonably modern and very clean. Booked a dinner at time of booking which turned out to be great valve. Dinner was very enjoyable even though we only managed two of the three courses. Breakfast was the norm and enjoyable. The hotel exterior looks drab but the room was modern.

Review 31：The location is very good to take a train to the Zermatt. All staffs were very kind. Even though the breakfast was not so much good, the dinner provided by their restaurant was very nice with proper price. Furthermore, this hotel has a large parking place without charge.

Review 32：We relied on GPS looking for a hotel called Swiss Budget Alpine Hotel in Tasch. In fact the name on the hotel is merely Alpine Hotel and we drove past following the GPS. Those co-ordinates took us to a sister hotel in Zermat. Then upon arrival at the designated GPS we were confronted by police who fined us 100 swiss franks for entering what is a poorely signposted restricted access area requiring a special permit. Took the shine of what was otherise a very good hotel.

Review 33：Convenient location to the train to Zermatt. Tasch is as far as you go by car. Also nice breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. Resturant attached is also not bad and reasonable price.

Review 37：Staff were very attentive and the hotel's location was ideal for the station to Zermatt. Food was excellent for breakfast and dinner. In particular Soraia Rodrigues was very helpful.

Review 38：Initially given 2 beds room while we had a daughter and then it was changed. Later I was given a bill for 3 beds room when I complained they didn't understand until I showed that inital booking included 3 beds. It took a while and breakfast was horrible.

Train about 8€ pp each way.

Review 74：The room was a little tight for two people. I wouldn't recommend staying any longer than two or three days as the room/bathroom size starts to get very annoying after that. Also, we bought the Zermatt Park Pass for the trains, lifts, and gondolas. It was very expensive ($220USD) just like everything else in Switzerland. But, it was more economical than purchasing individual passes.

Review 85：We stayed for a week for an orienteering competition in Zermatt. The access to the station across the road was ideal, and despite the central location, the hotel was quiet. Our 'superior' room was very comfortable and the balcony very pleasant and also useful for drying out running kit. The breakfast was solid with excellent local bread, good coffee, choice of cereals and cooked food. The all day/evening restaurant served an excellent choice of food at reasonable prices. The wifi worked very well and the hotel has a very good fitness centre in the basement. A real added-value point is the hotel carpark, as Zermatt is carfree and the station car park costly. Best of all was the excellent service provided by the Portuguese team of hotel staff. They were very professional and hard working. We will definitely use the hotel again.

Review 86：I got only one key from reception. I came back from Zermatt after 24:00 with out key. Hotel was closed, nobody at reception. Nobody answered phonecalls. Nobody answered night porter button. I can't get in hotel till 07:40 a.m. They had some technical problems...

Review 87：The beds creaked with every movement. The shutter on the door leading tothe balcony was missing so we could not open the window at night. Therewas no effective separation between balconies.

As we agreed, on next day in the morning I confirmed my request, but my preliminary booking was canceled and I had to find a room in another hotel.
