Review 1：The staff were quite rude, and more interested in how much money you'd pay rather than making sure your enjoyed the holiday. You can book a twin room - this doesn't mean you've paid for 2 people though ! They were quite disinterested when trying to resolve this.

Review 3：* overpriced for its quality (we had much better experience with 1/3 of the price in a nearby hotel, Matterhorn golf hotel, that had a shuttle to Taesch station). Also a much better experience for a slightly cheaper price in the heart of Zermatt. * for such a high price (500CHF for 2 nights), I'd expect them to be friendlier in accommodating an unexpected guest who happened to be with us (came same day from a different country). We didn't require an extra bed, since we even had a sleeping bed with us. * was very noisy whenever the train was passing by * internet was horrible. Had better internet through my 4G phone.

Review 8：From the moment we stepped inside this hotel, we were made feel welcome and at home. The lady at reception was so friendly and helpful. There was a beautiful crib in the reception area and the whole hotel had a wonderful traditional Christmas atmosphere. The hotel is ideally located next to the train station which is convenient for the short commute to Zermatt. The rooms are well insulated so there was no noise during the night and we all had a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was very tasty with ample choice. Highest standards of hospitality to be found here.

Review 9：The sauna was great but the hot tub not so hot on the days we used the facilities.

Review 10：We loved the superior room(definitely worth the extra) and the low key restaurant. The quick shuttle trip to Zermatt was easy, frequent and a great few minutes to unwind after a day's skiing. The staff were awesome, they made all the difference, finding pillows, sauna towels and none dairy food - we couldn't have asked for anything more.

At 5.00am on the morning of our stay a major annual cleaningof the kitchen was undertaken causing a strong caustic smell throughoutthe hotel and making for an unpleasant stay - no sleep, burning throat.The hotel should have been closed for the day for this cleaning. .

Review 32：Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived quite late, and we found that there were no restaurants opened in Tasch anymore. Though it was close to closing time for the bar/restaurant, they still served us a delicious meal. The local products are simply a must. The hotel is right next to the train station, however the rooms are very quiet.

Review 36：This was my second stay at this hotel in 13 months. I was once again very pleased. If, like myself, you enjoy Zermatt and its surroundings but prefer a quieter, more peaceful location to Zermatt's frenetic pace and crowded streets and restaurants the Tascherhof is for you as well. I too heartily recommend the restaurant; though, I am not a fan of fondue.

The shuttle train is right next door and hotel entrance is literally a few steps away from the shuttle exit.

Review 50：From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the owner on Sundaymorning. The owner of the hotel is a hands on person that I think istruly proud of his Hotel and it shows in his presents and that is fromopening till closing. The hotel is spotless and the staff is Excellent.The waitress in the restaurant was good enough to get a 25% tip. TheHotel is just a few seconds from the train station. The room was largeand the craftsmanship of the fixture's was a joy to see. The roomwas quite even though the train is just a few meters away. But thedoor's and windows are of such quality that they block the noise.The room was insulated so well that we never turned the heat on eventhough it was Feb. And the floor in the bathroom is heated. The tv was alarge flat screen and the Wifi was free. There is a coop store acrossthe street as well as several restaurants we had a pizza at the onedirectly across the street and it was Fine. It is a Sport's Bar. Thetourist office is also across the street. We had to make a change to ourreservation and the Owner did not charge us for the change even thoughhe had every right to do so. We highly recommend the Hotel. The hotel isno-smoking throughout with a hefty fine but they provided an ashtray onthe balcony. Our view from the balcony was of the train winding up themountain on it's way to Zermatt. In the basement we found a hot tub,sauna and exercise equipment for the use of hotel guests.

Review 53：Tasch is a very small hamlet that serves primarily as a gateway/stopping off/ garage your auto/ point to Zermatt. Connections to Zermatt are very convenient by frequent train shuttle. However, if one doesn't intend to go daily to Zermatt there isn't much to do in Tasch.

Review 54：This a very nice 3 star Swiss hotel, well constucted with adaequitly furnished accomodations. My room had a balcony which allowed me to smoke. The attached restaurant served very good meals at reasonable prices (reasonable that is for Switzerland where little is inexpensive).

Review 56：We decided to stay here instead of in Zermat for our ski trip to save a little money. The hotel is located right next to the train station so it was very convenient to walk with our gear and ride to Zermat. The breakfast was good. The hotel staff far exceeded our expectations. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We were also able to buy lift tickets and train passes at the hotel desk instead of waiting in line in Zermat.

Review 57：We chose this hotel because all the hotels in Zermatt are so expensive. This is definitely a smart choice, because it's just convenient to travel from this little town to Zermatt by the shuttle train, and this small hotel is very comfort and value for the money.
