Review 3：it is an amasing hotel, better to say Castle. about 20 min from airport and Koeln exhibition center, 30 min from city center. by taxi it is max 50 Euro. All in this hotel is perfectly organized: breakfast, spa-center with pool and sauna. special thanks for the heating in the rooms: you can control it yourself. it was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to people who like beauty, historical places and comfort!

Review 10：Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel lobby is very grand. Meal at restaurant was delicious. Rooms were spacious and luxurious, girls felt like princesses. Short walk to town.

Review 13：- Location was too close to the town, we expected more rural surroundings - The lobby bar not open in the evening for a quiet relaxed drink (even though the other bar was very nice) - No tea/coffee facilities in the room - A lot of noise in the morning in front of the Hotel (due to setting up a stage), I would expect to be notified and possible get a reduced rate or some nice gesture. When staying in a luxury hotel we would not expect work outside/near the room before at least 10am in the morning

Review 37：No free Wi-Fi, parking costs a fortune (22 Euros) and the Christmas tree is taken down too early (on 28 December!) My family's been staying here for 10 years and each year the decorations become less and less. My bathroom had a dirty vase, half-filled with water, but no flower. Usually, there's a flower in the bathroom. Still, a nice hotel.

It seems that their version of good service is different to other five star hotels, despite the fact that they charge the same amount of money for a stay. I was also surprised that they wanted to charge me parking at the hotel for a place located in their large basement car park in a location that is effectively in the middle of nowhere, with no reason for parking charges other than greed. Sparse mini bar. Bar service personnel didn't manage to get a single round of drinks correct, but were pleasant.

Review 41：Private transfer from the Airport Bonn was inclusive at the room rate, but we had to wait more then 1 hour for the car to show up upon our arrival. Same story on our way back (this time car arrived 15 minutes late). Do NOT use their Gourmet restaurant unless you like mayonnaise - it's total disappointment. All dishes are cooked using mayonnaise, my wife was actually sick after our dinner. Their wine recommendation was total nightmare and although we chosen to stay with 1 bottle of Riesling (the only drinkable wine they had) we were charged for BOTH the wine "menu" (although we had only 2 glasses from it) AND the bottle of Riesling... Totally unacceptable. We ended up paying more then 600 EUR for a dinner for 2 persons which we almost did not eat and were sick after it...

And, when they call taxi, they call good new cars with good drivers speaking English.

Great hospitality, hotel was told that it was a milestonebirthday birthday for my husband and so I had requsted for a room whichwas located in a quiet area. Not only did we get a well located room,they also provided lovely treats on the actual day of his birthday whichwere totally unexpected but consequently made the the event somemorable.

Review 55：Hotel was very busy. We were trying to book one of the hotel restaurantsfor dinner – no way! It was only one disappoint moment during our stay –we have to eat in the room or outside!

Review 56：The Hotel was not really service oriented to receive small children. Wereceived a babybed after we asked to swap the adult extra bed and thenwe found out it didn't have a mattress (we got that the next day). Maybethis was caused by unexperienced staff due to the Christmas period. Alsothe personnel in the lobby bar was not so service oriented the firstday. After Christmas this improved dramatically. The last day breakfastwas having a capacity problem, that was solved by opening an extra room(which took quite long). The restaurants in the hotel and also in thesister hotel were really excellent though.
