Review 1：They only provided one towel and no facecloth. The name Peterboro Express is not displayed going east bound and the name prominently displayed is another motel name so it was hard to find. The GPS coordinates on the booking.com site do not line up with that motel, but a totally different motel a 100 yards east.

Review 4：It is a dump. Where you have to wake the patron and ot takes a long time. Looks like an abandoned place. No sign with name of motel. It indicates Clear view lodge which it certainly is not

Review 7：No Wifi, no alarm clock and no telephone in room. No shampoo in the bathroom. Bathroom mirrors is little high because I am short. Need bigger as long mirrors to the sinks.

Review 9：Toilet didn't flush very well. Bad smell from the warter pipe in the bathroom. Shower didn't work well with the low water pressure. Shower curtain fell down during I was taking the shower - the worst experience ever! Internet didn't work in the room - which I was expecting from their website - it was a broblem as I had to go to MacDonald to use wifi. They shouldn't say that internet was available, so that I didn't chose there. The owner wasn't honest and didn't apologize, didn't treat me with the sincerity.

Review 15：Staff is wonderful but the property itself is old and not in great shape. We stayed one night as we simply needed a place to sleep after a Christmas party. Shower didn't work at all. Place is a bit run down but for the $50 I paid to sleep off a night on the town it was alright.

Review 20：needs updating. mattress needs replacing. Bathroom window poor fit can't close tight. We turned on light & moths, etc were coming in the first night. We told the owner the next am, as wasps were now coming in. They immediately went with spray, found a nest & got rid of it. Hotel was convenient to the Peterborough Folk Fest.
Review 21：very clean. Staff friendly and cooperative. They told us that the old sign "Clear View" was still up & we easily found it. We called because we would be after 8 in arriving & they told us it was next to J.Deere place - made it real easy to find.
Review 22：The price wasn't worth it. Traffic noise all night, shabby run-down appearance, 1950's decor furniture and fittings, dirty carpets and stained linens. Never again!

Review 25：The toilet barely worked, it would take at least 3 flushes to make anything go down. When we asked for a plunger we were just told that this is how it is and don't put much tp in it. The location is about a $20 cab ride to get to downtown Peterborough. We thought it might be a little cheaper. Room definitely needs updating. The T.V. was the oldest T.V. I've ever seen in a hotel room.
Review 26：The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful with providing taxi numbers. The room did appear clean, but the shower needs some serious updating.

Review 29：Booking.com has got the name wrong, it's actually clearview lodge inthe signage if you're searching for it by car. Also the coordinatesBooking.com uses for the location are in the middle of someone'sfield next to a tractor shelter. So in case you want to find it,don't use Booking.com's routing, but look for Clearview Lodge onthe right (coming from Peterborough) after the large intersection andthe gas station (Esso).The place was somewhat creepy to arrive to in the middle of the night, but all went well. No chainsaw murderers around. No breakfast either, but not sure whether you'd want it here. Much nicer in the daytime though! Wifi barely receivable in our room.

Helpful lady at the counter gave us ourtv remote and some water (tap water not drinkable)Although I have a long post in the minus section, it's mostly about Booking.com information on how to find this place. The place itself is an adventure that you should take if you're not too shy of interesting experiences. One of the special stops that I will remember on our roadtrip.
Review 31：It was a dive, there was a message on the tv that they didn't pay their cable bill and then the cable was cut off, poorly maintained, nobody answers the phone, directions are horrible, a real Bates Motel. The pics on your site must be from 30 years ago. Scary.
