Review 1：We were visiting friends in the Summerside area so the location is ideal. The rates are great and the continental breakfast has an excellent selection.

Review 2：My booking.com confirmation indicated there would be breakfast included. I assumed this meant hot breakfast, instead it was a continental breakfast. Our GPS could not find this hotel. Staff indicated that this often happened.

Review 3：It was very quiet. The hotel is made up of a number of buildings which were once air force barracks I think. Room was clean and comfy.

Review 4：looking forward to using the gym...but it was 2 blocks away and used by the general public so I didn't use it.

Review 6：The exterior is an old military barracks which almost turned us away. SO GLAD we checked out our room before making the decision. We'd definitely stay again. Also it's a bit far out from the activities were had chosen to do, but worth the drive.

Review 7：Recently updated rooms were clean and spacious and comfortable. Nice a quiet and dark at night. Tends to be favoured by groups such as sports teams, families, etc. Kids running around the grounds while adults sat outside chatting and visiting. A friendly, vacation feel.

Review 8：The pictures online were deceiving, showed comfortable looking beds and they were not comfortable at all. Also, we had a whole unit with two bedrooms, we had our two small children with us. When we arrived, we realized that the two two rooms had their own locks and it wasn't very convenient with our children. We had to wedge something in both doors so that if the kids woke up in the night they wouldn't have to use a key. It would've been nice to know the setup before we booked. Thankfully booking.com allowed to cancel for our second night and we found another place to stay which suited our needs much better.

Review 10：This really isn't fair but we had just spent three days at Best Western and had waffles roasted potatoes scamble eggs and ham or sausage which was fantastic but yours was what you advertised a continental It was great good

Review 23：The restaurant staff totally ignored us while we waited over 10 minutes to be seated (there were tables available). So we left and found dining elsewhere. The internet was down due to high volume of customers. There are no elevators so we had to carry/drag our heavy baggage up and down the staircase. Due to this being a renovated military accommodation, the room layout is odd.

Review 24：The manager and front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and there was free parking. Breakfast (cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt) was included.

Why could she not have opened it just so we could have a beer and wine? We were not even 10 minutes after telling her we would be back to have a drink!!! And the area had nothing close by to go to. After a very long difficult day we were not impressed by this

Review 30：We were quite shocked to arrive and find the hotel is a former barracks. So really were not keen to stay. But it was fine, we ended up with a room with a separate living room which was wonderful. Unfortunately on our way to the hotel we had some bad family news and had to return home earlier so we only had one night in the hotel. Kim at the desk was very helpful and waited while I called Booking.com(20 minute hold) to change our reservation

We had to eventually ask a waitress where the coffee was. Not one waitress approached our table. Other than the restaurant, everyone else was very nice to deal with.

Review 54：As advertised, basic comfort for a very reasonable price. Perfect for a single traveler who doesn't understand why he pays the same price as a couple. I was lucky that the "shared" bathroom did not have to be shared. Not sure what my reaction would be if that had happened.

Review 55：If you like to walk places then you may be out of luck, a rather remote location but a short drive into town. Apparently the locals use the restaurant on Sunday mornings so make a reservation, we waited almost an hour after ordering our food only to be told that those with a reservation would be served first, so we cancelled our food and left. There was still a table of 8 ahead of us and we were driving back to Ontario that day. That experience was a bad ending for our trip.

It was a holiday weekend; we weresurprised that more effort wasn't made to keep the business staffedto meet demand even when allowing time off, ie the restaurant was closedeven with guests at the hotel. So much to offer! Lots of potential! Tryfor consistency of service by anticipating demand...

Review 69：Staff were pleasant to deal with however there needs to be work inrespect to service standards and ethics. Our rooms weren't readyuntil 9:30 P.M. hours after arrival. Erin, who was on the evening shift,addressed problems with empathy, understanding and a take chargeapproach. She embodied the ethic of hospitality that evening. The hoteland travel industry is competitive and if you want to have an edge,maintain standards of timeliness and consistency of high qualityservice. We couldn't tell with everyone we met what they believe,but Erin demonstrated that she cared for our comfort as guests. So muchto offer, lots of potential!

Review 80：The refrig. hummed very loud, but I couldn't unplug it because I needed it. The alarm clock went off at 6AM which we didn't set. We couldn't regulate the shower and I got scalded and my partner got a shot of freezing water. The breakfast area was dirty. We had to bus our own tables. I had to move the desk to get to the outlet for my computer. Then when I plugged my computer cord in, the outlet snapped and I felt it was unsafe. The air conditioner stunk when we turned it on so we just opened the window.
