Review 1：I did not like booking.com recommending this hotel. Actually we were 3 people and we were shown on website to book two rooms (2bed + 1bed). But the room we got was for 3 people and we really did not need the other room, but due to incorrect information in the booking.com we had to pay extra 50 pounds. When we asked the receptionist about this, he quitely ignored us.

Review 4：It's not a fancy hotel, but worth for the money, the owner is so friendly that he prepared a special ginger porridge for us. It's the best food for morning and will keep you warm if you goes up to the mountain. Hotel is close to the Täsch station, few blocks away from a supermarket and post office for travelers.

Review 5：I'm usually a courteous guy to hotel staff as I have worked in hotels before, however, this hotel made me quite the opposite. I had planned on bringing two friends with to stay in a two bed (I was going to take the floor or a cot.) The lady threatened to call the cops if I didn't upgrade to a three bed, because it wasn't to their liking of me sleeping on the floor. Their shuttle "deal" to Zermatt is garbage, go with the train station's. Also, their spa is only open from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, redundant as all. The faculty was rude, might has well have paid the price I did to stay in Zermatt.

The pantry for coffee was very disorganised. Promised free covered parking but car was parked in open This is the worst hotel that I have stayed in Switzerland. I have travelled more than 12 times to Switzerland.

Review 13：We had an awful experience. The manager and staff were not friendly and tried to act as if their credit card system was down. They just wanted us to pay cash and pocket the money. Felt unsafe and the wifi never worked. I asked the manager to use the restroom while checking in and he scolded me and told me I should use the restroom in my room. I've never been treated so disrespectfully from a staff. Do not stay here. It may appear to be the cheapest hotel, but trust me, it's not worth it.

The hotel was clean, and not outdated as so many are, and quite comfortable for myself and my friend to share a twin room. Also VERY close to the train station, not even a 5 minute walk so very easy access to Zermatt for snowboarding etc.

Review 55：The bathrooms are really dated. Still in the 70's. The tiles and the sink need replacing. The shower curtain needs to be replaced at this point. It is really moldy and dirty. After replacing it with a new one, this new one needs to be washed on a regular basis. The bathroom needed a few more amenities such as shower gel, shampoo, hand cream, etc. They had two small packets of shower gel for the three of us. The packets were the size of a ketchup packet you get at a fast food restaurant. The fold up bed stinks. That whole unit needs to be thrown out. Thank God we did not have to use it. Not enough basic amenities for the price of the room. Ex: Coffee maker, Safe, etc. I totally understand that not every one is going to iron their cloths and therefore not have an iron in the room or even a fridge or mini-bar. However, some basic amenities are very important if you are focused on the guests and not on just making money.

Review 56：The rooms were updated and the beds were comfortable. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Sheets were clean and the size of the room was larger than the normal European rooms.

Review 57：First of all, the spa was absolutely horrendous. There wasn't a jacuzzi, but rather two bathtubs. We had to fill the water up ourselves. Second, the hotel requires that guest pay 10 francs for a robe and slippers to be used in the spa facilities. Most hotels I have been to at least provide a robe for free. Our room was ok, but there was a very "odd" stain on the carpet...it looked like blood. Lastly, the staff was just rude and inhospitable.

Review 58：We were the only people in the entire hotel. The key was under the phonein the front lobby , it was kind of scary ... we met the owners the nextday ...they were very nice. I just have never been the only tenant in ahotel before .... nice room, balcony , view and a 12 minute train rideto zermatt ..this must be a weekend hotel for skiers

The hotel has a freeunderground car park which saved us a lot of money during our stay. Review 84：- Small beds - do not select it if over 185cm in height- WiFi strangely works only a few hours in the afternoon every day. - Owner charges an extra 5% when you pay with credit card!!! - Small breakfast, only filter coffee available - No service nor staff present after 10pm and the main door locks. If the guest forgets or loses his/her key, there is no alternative in order to get in! No emergency phone!

Review 86：Hi I would actually like to complain about the hotel. We wanted to payby credit card and were told that we would have to pay an additional 5%if paying by cc. Is that legal? In our opinion the price was as set outin your confirmation, irrespective of mode of payment. Could you clarifythis for us? Also, we paid chf10.00 For transport of luggage to thetrainstation (lliterally 100m from hotel but because of snow and ice wepreferred to make this arrangement). I only heard from another hotelguest later that there was a note in the lift confirming chf5.00 Fortransport. We felt cheated. Lastly, the manager/owner wanted to chargeus for 6 breakfasts. We orginally booked for 6 persons but in octchanged to 5 and he said he was not aware of this and charged us for 6(we only paid for 5). All in all a very unpleasant experience and Iwould not recommend this hotel.
