Reviews for Golden Pathways Retreat B&B

Review 1:Leaving- I wanted to stay.

Review 2:I especially loved the patio off of my room, which led to the backyard. I stepped out onto the grass in my bare feet, and the was a fence, on the other side were 30 cows mooing a greeting. I loved everything about this place. I would return again, and again. Cora was delightful, she was the host, and really made me feel welcome.

Review 3:Don't like to share bathroom. Noise in the a.m. from above. Lots of heel-walking.

Review 4:Breakfast outstanding . Friendliness of staff noteworthy. Gardens well kept.

Review 5:Rural setting, 10 mins from downtown. Beyond exquisitely clean; beautiful decor; guests rooms on the lower level, with a patio to the garden from the bedroom doors; wonderful food; Such nice people; Helen who came to make breakfast; lovely breakfast room with a large family-type table for the guests.

Review 6:Yes mosquitoes but that is not the fault of the owners.

Review 7:Everything, the staff were very nice and helpful and the place was beautiful. Also, the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Review 8:first time in a B and B for me. Very different then a hotel. Would do it again. Kind of like staying in a strangers house. Good enough for me but all I need is a warm, dry bed, nothing more. Such a guy I am!!!

Review 12:Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable and hostess very helpful and friendly.

Review 13:The location 10 mins outside Peterborough was offset by the charm of its beautiful rural setting.

Review 14:Hosts were most accommodating, friendly & helpful in every way. Hot breakfast was exceptional! A very picturesque, very quiet, rural setting. Ideal for relaxing after a day of travel.

Review 15:Golden Pathways retreat is a little gem tucked away in the country with fabulous hosts. Dave welcomed us on arrival and was very helpful, warm and kind. He helped us to plan a stunning day that included a walk through a part of their farm to a private location on the river where he allowed us to use their canoe and explore the river which was all so beautiful. Brenda who cooked us a delicious breakfast was also amazing and went out of her way to make sure our stay was stress free and relaxing by personally driving us to the venue of the ceremony and reception of a friend's wedding we were there to attend. Our room was gorgeous with lots of space and the bed was very comfortable. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would most definitely recommend Golden Pathways for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the country.

Review 30:Beautiful facilities and grounds. Friendly owners.

Review 31:Hostess is very friendly. Very relaxing stay! We have a 2yo and she had so many toys for him!!! Castle, thomas the train, tractors. Rooms are high class. We saw a movie in conference room. It was like our own theatre! Kitchen is clean, big and well equipped. We could just stay in the resort, enjoy swings, barn animals, TV room, backyard, pond, and Trip would be great :) But scenery around the place is amazing! 10 minutes away from the city. I want to go there again, with 2 more families so we can rent all 3 rooms and stay for few days.
