Review 2：Excellent value for money. Nice, clean, modern rooms. Would highly recommend this place, can't go wrong for the price.
Review 3：Location is poor. The lagoon is effectively a swamp and thus very smelly. Worse on weekends the bars there play loud very loud music. I had a room facing the lagoon on my first night- a Sunday- and when asked about the music was told it would finish at eleven but it went on for another 1 1/2 hours. The next day was given a room facing the beach. But here as well my sleep was disturbed by internal noises. Although a very new hotel it is surprisingly not very soundproof. If someone just talks in the corridor you will hear it and if you are unfortunate like I was that your neighbours come back late or rise very early you will hear it because the fans in the bathroom are very loud

Review 16：Didn't like the location. Close beach is littered with rubbish. Didn't find anything near by to walk to.
Review 17：we arrived in the late evening and a middle Age receptionist is not friendlly to us. He sproke no one English word and didnt smile to us at all. I had at beginning a bad Impression to this Hotel. But on second day the woman was very friendly and I am very satisfied with her Service. the room is basically clean but there are some dust in the corne.

Review 20：We had no problems with noise and we were here at the weekend. The staff were very helpful and booked us a lovely 3 day to Lencois Maranhenses.
Review 21：I spent three days here and I started to miss a gym. The other thing is that the closer it gets to the weekend the louder the surrounding gets. Basically the hotel would be pretty quiet (at least facing the lagoon) but from Wednesday on the bars on the lakeside start playing music, the closer to weekend the longer into the night.
Review 22：The Stopway Hotel is a nice place offering competitive rates. The rooms are good, spacious and offer free Wifi and a lot of TV channels. The staff does not always speak English but they try (as well as I try with my Portugese) and they are very friendly. Despite the noisy surroundings I guess I would stay here again.

Review 25：At times very noisy, from loud music from surrounding bars and event venue, not the best location, s one has to get a cab every time you want to go somewhere. Cabs cost at least $15 -20 to go either to beach or historic downtown.
