Review 1：The room had a weird smell, and seemed kind of grungy. Furnishings were older, worn and dated.

Review 2：Friendly staff, and the location which is close to all sorts of shopping and restaurants.

Review 3：Parking was limited as there were Christmas parties booked in the salons. The manager, personally, moved his vehicle to allow us a parking space on the premises.

Review 4：We didn't have a basket of goodies in our room, looking for water in the evening When we ate breakfast the next morning we did not get the special that was offered, which was posted in the elavator. Should ask if you are a guest when ordering, maybe.

Review 9：We particularly enjoyed the location, the eating facilities and the cleanliness of the room. In respect to the location, you are located close to many shopping outlets and with the road system not too too far away from Stavanger and the shopping there.

Review 10：When I booked was asked if I needed parking and the first night spent an hour driving around the hotel cause there's was a wedding happening there and I had no where to park. When informed staff they said well can't ask someone to move I will have to park else where and move my car to parking lot when comes available after 11 am when people start to leave wedding .

Review 15：That it was close to the airport. Easy access to highway. Liked it had all in one place, rest. lounge, etc. you should seperate # 1 above...staff rating, rest., lounge and desk not as one. The young lady in the rest. was way helpful and friendly while front desk staff were not. Lounge was ok.

Review 21：It was a nice room but when you walked in there was a smell of body ordor, not sure if it was in the carpet or in the room. Even when we left and came back it was still there. We paid almost 200.00 for a smelly room.

Review 34：Suggest getting a room on the back of the hotel. The front is on a very busy hwy and very loud. Also, rooms were being renovated while we were there and that was quite loud, morning and evening. Reserved online for king bed but it was not available when we got there.

Review 36：The public bathroom across from the dining room is, without doubt, the location most in need of a good dedicated cleaner. Dispensers are also not working properly. It's difficult to get out into traffic from the hotel -- even dangerous at times.

Review 43：Vending machine wasn't properly operating. Took my money but didn't give me my product or any change back. House keeping staff didn't always replenish the coffee and tea products everyday we had nothing to drink coffee with the next morning. When we returned from a medical appt late one day our room was not cleaned and when we asked to have it cleaned we were told the reason why it was so late was because they were busy cleaning rooms for Westjet flight crews. We felt that because we were already staying there we should have had our rooms clean before them. It made us feel as though The Capital had our money already so it didn't matter if we were last on the list to get our room cleaned. But when the cleaning staff finally did come to clean our room she was quite efficient, friendly and apologetic for the late service.

Very close to everything I wanted, minutes from the mall and food establishments. Only had breakfast at the hotel but it was delicious. I would stay again for sure!

Review 54：The room we were given smelled strongly an unpleasant almost body ordor smell so much so that our clothes in our luggage smelled simiiarly. We tried to vent the room spray the room to no avail. There were no open rooms that night. We were moved the next day. Housekeeping should have noticed when cleaning the room

Review 55：This visit I was upgraded to a suite much to my surprise. The room was so comfortable I wanted to stay in instead of going out but of course the purpose of my visit had to be completed. I have to admit when I walked in he room I was very excited because at that time I had no idea I was upgraded. It wasn't until checkout when I asked why I got the room that I was told the reason. I really appreciated it and had a wonderful stay.
