Reviews for Hotel Restaurant Les Lilas
Review 1:The wifi worked erratically.
Review 2:The old chalet has a lot of character, the breakfast was great with fresh fruit salad. The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Location is perfect: the ski bus stops just outside the house every 10-15 min.
Review 3:Prices quoted (in Euros) upon reservation 5 months ago increased by more than 20% overnight! Swiss resorts are now almost 50% more expensive than French or Austrian Alps!
Review 4:Cosy chalet, helpful and flexible owner/staff...
Review 5:The staff were absolutely wonderful, they cared about us almost like family even checking with the staff at the Glacier when we returned late from our hike in the Alps. Great food in a stunning spot. The only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave...
Review 6:We did not like the electric device which worked the evening and at night. The noise was outside the room but the impossible to know its origin
Review 7:we like the furnitures and the way it's organised.
Review 8:great location, great staff! Beautiful hotel!
Review 9:Limited breakfast spread.
Review 10:Nice decor. Great location (2-3 mins walk to station and coop supermarket). Good view from rooms. Friendly owners.

Review 13:The older man and his wife were wonderfully welcoming. They were gracious and helpful and we enjoyed the easy going ambiance.
Review 14:Great food and helpful staff
Review 15:Our room and the staff
Review 16:Good location with ski bus stop just outside. Big and comfortable room for our family of 4. Good breakfast. Thanks you
Review 17:Friendliness of the Owners Wood and stone - a true old wooden house, softly renovated so you get all the comforts of Today
Review 18:poor breakfast on traffic street. might be noisy early morning
Review 19:Staff really kind cozy wooden hotel
Review 20:Nothing.
Review 21:Comfort, hospitality, friendliness, food and location.
Review 22:The hotel is a little funky in that our room was on the top floor, soyou have to duck when going up the first set of stairs or you willbump your head. I was worried we would not find our room again oncewe twisted and turned to make it to the top, but once we did it onceon our own, it was really quite simple (and sort of nice - thefunkiness of it).
Review 23:The couple who ran the hotel/restaurant were wonderful people -very warm and friendly. The place was exceptionally clean and well-taken care of.The breakfast that was included was modest but very good (croissants, jams, toast, yogurt, cheese/meat, coffee/tea and fruit). The place was not full in April. It was quaint and quiet. The place has been remodeled and has very nice walls of wood and floors of either wood or tiles. The two things I want most when traveling are quiet and clean, and this place was both.
Review 24:Lovely room with balcony and mountain view. Traditional chalet with nice atmosphere. Very friendly, family run hotel. Food in restaurant very good, traditional Swiss fare.
Review 25:The ambiance of the hotel was lovely - very cosy and the location is excellent. We don't have a car, the hotel is 5 minutes walk from the railway station and the bus stop to the ski areas is on the hotel's doorstep. Ski rental shop "Snow Culture" with the most helpful service on hotel's doorstep. Serving staff excellent, friendly and welcoming.
Review 26:Maybe more heat in the boot store, but very hard to fault this hotel.
Review 27:Attention to detail, with lots of thought having gone into making the beautiful old chalet as warm and comfortable with everything we needed to hand and easy to access e.g. Ski store, boot store, really lovely bedroom with modern en suite, sauna, friendly bar, attentive staff. Right next to the ski bus stop and close to the amenities in the village. Everything very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Review 28:Warm and cozy rooms. Very attentive and helpful owners, they were helping us with our planning for our walks/where to go after Les Diablerets. Food at hotel restaurant was good too.
Review 29:The room we stayed in was very romatic: Wood combined with white walls. Very comfortable and very much fitting the surrounding landscape. The restaurant serves incredibly good food - simple but delicious.
Review 30:Everthing was just perfect!
Review 31:Personal attention of the owners right from check.in, guidance, restaurant service and kitchen. They really took care to ensure that all needs were met. Well located just 70 meters from the main railway station and post bus station. The chalet style of rooms with all modern amenities were very pleasing.
Review 32:Staff were pleasant but not overly helpful: noinformation was given about the resort or skiing or bus etc, and no one thought to mention the clocks went forward either. The restaurant served cold lasagne and burnt garlic pasta, and the chocolate fondue was like an old hard muffin. They need to look after their customers a little more. Hotel is at the far end of the village from all the ski lifts and ski school etc but for an adult this isn't far, for kids it is. Overall pleasant enough place to stay, don't expect too much.
Review 33:Rooms were cosy, not as big as previous reviews suggested. Informal, relaxed atmosphere.
Review 34:very helpful and professional owners and staff. good location at the entrance of the village. very nice rooms refurbished in the old chalet. good restaurant and breakfast. parking for your car on one side of the chalet.
Review 35:Nice small family hotel located in chalet. Cozy rooms with a rustic feeling, with divine smell of wood. Attentive and helpful owners. Good location - I can't understand those who complain about it, while you can actually walk around all Les Diablorets in 20 minutes. The restaurant is worth a visit even if you don't stay here.
Review 36:Our room was a triple and nearly £200 per night so I was expecting a luxury kind of room at that price - room was disappointing on that front as pretty basic and shower went all over the floor each time we used - however it was comfortable just thought I would get more for the money - maybe that's just switzerland??
Review 37:The owners were really lovely and very helpful. Perfect for staying with my 3 year old as small hotel, safe and v. child friendly. Great breakfast and also had two good meals in the evening
Review 38:The hotel is totally charming and authentic, while amenities such as bathrooms are modern. The host spoke perfect english and was very knowledgable about the local excursion, helpful with advice both logistically ( how to get from and to) as well as what/when to do/see things in the area. I was there on business but also enjoyed free afternoon on leisure trips inspired by the host of the hotel. would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Review 39:Good, luxery room. Small, but good restaurant, with nice dedicated staff.
Review 40:Very friendly and helpful staff/owners who were welcoming and informative.
