Review 1：The hotel restaurant - we were waiting for 2 hours for a soup, and 40 min. for the food. The soup was really salty and we could not eat it. Service was really bad. the menu - the copy writer of the menu should win the oscar, the discribtion of the food was amazing, but not the food :-(

Review 2：Road diversions in the area led to us approaching from the wrong direction and having to find our way through a one-way and pedestrian zone system. (Not the fault of the hotel.)

Review 3：Large comfortable room and bathroom (although no walk-in shower for elderly guests). Excellent meal in cellar restaurant and top quality buffet breakfast.

Review 9：This was tradition and just what we wanted.Two small bottles of wild plant liquor to drink in our room which was clean and airy with views across the rooftops. And so quiet. The restaurant served us equisite food in historic surroundings. Good parking for our car and step out into a beautiful German town where chocolate and wood carving are amongst the specialities. The church tower is open and as a former dwelling it is enchanting to visit.

Review 10：Mattress was a bit too firm - but that's down to personal preference and not a fault with the hotel.

Review 11：Great base for exploring the area and about 45 minutes to Sachsenring.

Review 12：Sauna has to be booked in advance and can then only be used by those whoreserved it. This is somewhat unusal in Germany and should explicitelybe mentioned in the facilities section.
