Review 1：Didn't get very many TV Channels. Not as listed. Dead bugs in the bathroom fixture. Carpets and chairs need cleaning. Expensive for facility.

Review 4：We stayed in a renovated room with a comfortable bed with crisp linens. Able to check in early.

Review 5：Travelling with a small dog so it was very convenient to have a door that opened directly to outside. Also, it was easy and close to unload our suitcases.

Review 8：The temperature was difficult to get right. The size of soap they provide fits exactly into the drains - difficult to retrieve if dropped. It is located on a busy corner - easy to find but lots of traffic.

Review 14：The outside is a dull grey and looks foreboding and uninviting. Quirky old fashioned door locks on rooms, but you soon get used to them once their working has been explained.

Review 15：Everything you need under one roof, the hotel accommodation, a diner, a bar. Good food although the kitchen doesn't appear to be set up to deliver on commercial lines, so there can be a wait at busy times. All staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and numerous access points into the building so hauling luggage in/out doesn't involve traipsing all the long corridors.

Review 18：From our location, Wells Grey Inn is a comfortable days drive before dark. We have stayed there several times, and have always been happy with our stay.

Review 19：Furniture and bed old-fashioned, old carpet - Would be great if renovated soon. Bed - like in most hotels in Canada we had - very soft.

Review 21：The cost for a night was close to a Fairmont price, but the bed was too soft, the carpet and decor looked bargain basement. The fluorescent light in the bathroom buzzed. The complete lack of security was frightening. The hotel desk is not 24 open hours.

Review 22：I like that the hotel is on the highway between Edmonton and Vancouver. The food in the attached restaurant is very good and reasonably priced.

Review 23：Hot tub needs serious attention. No TV channels for young children. Very noisey after 10:30pm. Guests were drunk & yelling in the hallway. Doors slamming until 12:30am.

Review 25：Very old hotel so it did had a very heavy smell. We had a very bad and noisy staying. People were drunk, running in the halls, and slamming doors until 3am!!

Review 27：3 times now we have stayed there in rooms 20 and 30. All times we have gotten no sleep at all for the people talking in the hallways, slamming doors and smoking pot.Stopped at 3 am and started again at 5. I have reported this but all they say is "oh yes the night security man mentioned this" except we never saw any security person to stop this and so we tried to talk nicely to the crews and skiers but only got sworn at.

Review 28：Great location. I gave the staff a lower rate as this fictitious security person never does his job. All other staff were wonderful.

Review 29：Large black beetles in main room, bathroom. Advised there must be outside screens installed before we stay again. Usually travel 4 times a year to Edson. This is exactly half way from Vancouver, 6 hours. So hope they do screens.

Review 32：We really enjoyed our night here. It's a fun place. We had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the diner. The food was good and the atmosphere was great. It's very near to Well's Gray Provincial Park which is well worth a visit. Make sure you get up to Helmcken Falls.

Review 34：The staff were incredibly helpful and told us what to see in the area and gave us maps. Very friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. All in all a very good stay. Had dinner in their restaurant and it was also very good.

Review 35：Our meal in the resturant was terrible. Pounded to one eighth inch thick and DEEP fried till hard......Rear parking lot is a disaster. No bathroom fan. Overpriced for what you get.

Review 43：Old, shabby, not as described on the website. The rate at the front desk was $20 lower than I paid for the same room and they have lots of vacancies. They were not close to the lake but a hotel down and across the road was right on it again for less money than we paid. I will never use web booking sites again for trips in North America taken by car. I have found the rates at the front desk to be consistently lower and no availability issues even at high times. When staying in multiple locations (UK train trip) and over 8 hotels I found a pre-booked itinerary great but I do not like to pay more when low price is supposed to be a guarantee.

Review 47：As with many older facilities , plumbing issues are common , especially in smaller , more remote areas. The lavatory could use a little upgrade , clearing due to backing up with very little cause but other than that , it's what I expected in that price range .

Review 51：The wifi was terribly poor. Not alot of cable stations to view. Bathroom needs to be updated but its adequate. We were situated at an exit door so it was quite noisy at times with people coming and going.

Restaurant on grounds that provided home style cooking. The room was quite clean and cool but the bathroom needs serious updating.

The bathroom is very tight - you can hardly turn your body around fir a slim person like me. The bathroom fan was not working. So in the morning we see lots of moisture on the glass patio door.

Nothing had changed except we had a new bed. The place is so run down and dingy. Same big hole in our room carpet. Water stains on ceiling. The courtyard view is overgrown grass and rubbish. A dozen screws were left on the floor by the bed. Shabby, shabby, shabby.
